We were wanting some cold Alaskan Brewing Co beers to end our day in Juneau and definitely came to the right place! The bartender arranged for us to do a beer flight and we thoroughly enjoyed the beer but also the historic saloon feel of this place! It was not at all difficult

This hotel has so much potential. When I saw the pictures I imagined it would be like a McMenamins in Oregon, alas it was not. This was a family trip, me, my brother and our spouses (all early 40s) and my 70 year old mom. Pros- great location, fairly reasonable, clean

Stayed here for 3 nights on a month long tour of Alaska. There are very few hotels in the centre of Junea as most visitors arrive by cruise ship or they stay out of town. The hotel is one of the original gold rush buildings therefore one of the oldest buildings in town. It's

Alaskan Hotel is old. No elevator. We had a third-floor "kitchenette" and it was nice having a refrigerator and microwave and our private bathroom. The bathroom was large and semi-updated. The room was hot, and no air-conditioning, but the front desk gave us a fan. The fan was

Saw a trip advisor review about bed bugs. Any truth to matter?
We did have bed bugs in a room, but we had it fumigated twice and washed all the linens and curtains off premises. I consider this the worst thing that can happen and no longer have the issue. Thank you, Bettye Adams owner

I have fumigated the room in question twice and washed all the linen in an off premises laundry. There are no bugs now. Thank you, Bettye Adams owner

Sorry I thought that I had answered you. When I was alerted to the fact that there were bed bugs in that I went into action. WE removed and washed everything in the room. We of course fumigated the room and did that all again in 3 weeks to catch any eggs that might hatch. I feel confident that we are bug free now. Also the desk clerk who rented the room is not longer with us as the room was marked not for rent as it was to be used for storage. Thank you for your question as I would have had the same one. Most of our rooms have private bathrooms, but there are some rooms with shared bathrooms. We have 7 shared bathrooms and around 14 rooms that use them. We also have kitchenette in a lot of the rooms Thank you, Bettye Adams

"No elevators so request main floor if you don't do stairs well."
"Room at the back was away from street noise and had good view of mountain to the east"
