We spent 6 nights here and loved every minute. All the large rooms have recently been renovated and are very comfortable, all with AC, hot water and very good beds. All set in a nice garden setting. The restaurant hotel (Blue Lagoon), has an amazing position and outlook over the lagoon and we just loved hanging there all day. The continental breakfast (which was included in our room rate) was fantastic - fruit, whole meal bread, healthy cereal options, etc... an hot pancakes everyday! We also ate at the restaurant for lunchtime and dinner and it was very nice. My husband caught some fish in the reef and the restaurant were very happy to cook it for us one night. But if you want to try something different, Koru Cafe (we loved this place) and the Boatshed are only a 5 minute walk

I made a reservation for the island night show (including dinner) as a single traveller (single table just for me). As I had severe health problems that evening, I cancelled my reservation in the afternoon. Although I have not been informed upfront about any cancellation fee for a dinner reservation (which is normally free of charge worldwide), they charged me a cancellation fee of 35 NSD !!! AND after this, I figured out that they even gave the table to a group of people who all paid again full price each. So Aitutaki Village restaurant and hotel did not just gain the cancellation fee they charged me illegally, they also got the full price for times from the people who got the table instead of me because I had to go to hospital. What a shame !!! Do NOT go there!!! These people

Located at the beautiful Ootu Point and right on the lagoon, Aitutaki Village is a brilliant place to stay. Elaine and all the team are super friendly, smiley and helpful. The accommodation has all you need, including very welcome air con! Meitaki :)

We were amazed by the warmth and ready attention of the welcome by the Bishop family. We had wonderful speed boat outings in to the further ends of this world famous blue lagoon: to One Foot Island swimming with enormous Trevallys circling us, to Honeymoon Island where birds nest at ground level in the tropical island vegetation and remain unconcerned at human presences. The sand is white and too hot for bare feet. The water even with wind is a startling light blue colour that you carry in your head a long time after leaving. For all this and more we say thank you to Mr. Bishop!

We have traveled all around the world and found the staff we dealt with at Aitutaki Village as nice as anyone we have ever dealt with. They were so pleasant and were always looking for ways to make your time more enjoyable. We so appreciated them. The food was good with generous portions.

Small resort with private cottages in lush setting looking onto lagoon. Small kitchenette, bed area and bath - very clean. Owners are currently renovating all cottages. Open air restaurant on site served great food with lots of menu choices. Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly - making phone calls on our behalf, booking tours etc. Near the airport but quiet as only a few flights with only small aircraft. A few things within walking distance. Bishops Lagoon Cruises (fabulous) leave from this resort which is very handy.

11 of us stayed here for 4 nights. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Comfortable room with Aircon and a pleasant veranda. The staff stocked us with Ice each day to keep in our fridge and water is free from the bar, collect a jug anytime Great food at the Blue Lagoon restaurant, with a stunning view overlooking the lagoon. Both Koru Cafe and the Boat Shed withing very close walking distance, the food at Koru is excellent. Don't bother going to the fancy Aitutaki Lagoon Resort on the island in front of the village, they wont let you in, we were refused by the boat taxi driver. We took a Kayak and paddled round it, stunning views! All in all a perfect place to stay on Aitutaki.

Absolutely best experience of our trip to Cook Islands!!! Awesome location, great rooms, nice restaurant right in front of the lagoon👍 We loved the beach, also a trip to one foot island included in the package. Quiet rooms in a beautiful garden. Easy access to scooter rentals Try the boat shed restaurant, walking distance 5 min from the hotel. Even though the hotels restaurant Blue Lagoon is very nice as well!
