Not the best place to stay it is really budget accommodation for a budget price. We had no Hot water our whole stay. cracked and Broken Tiles nails stuck out in kitchen cupboard nails stuck up on the verandah. when you walked around the whole building moved. unfortunately, we had bad weather on our stay and with all the windows and doors shut the curtains blew in the wind floors got wet also our bed did too. the beach location is beautiful I felt they really didn't care about the place sadly. Because of the price they know they are always going to be people that book in would i have paid extra to get somewhere better the Answer is yes
I loved my stay at Paradise Cove! The location was absolutely perfect, the room was cute , clean and had a very "island" feel to it. Also not to mention the bungalows are literally on the beach, just a few steps away from the water! I loved it! The staff were very welcoming and looked after me well during my stay. I'll definitely be back!! :)
Best value for money... chalets on the beach... can't wait to stay again! Fantastic views. Smaller facility to help capture laid back island style. I could have stayed for ever. Yummy dinner, fantastic air conditioner lol
Have stayed at Paradise Cove two times on my paddling trips to Aitutaki. The front office, accommodation, and resto/bar staff are ALWAYS so incredibly hospitable and friendly. We feel like family staying here. Maine and TK are amazing. The location cannot be beat, the bungalows are in the absolute best place, and with the opening of the bar/resto two days per week- WOW- makes it even more amazing! TK was the most gracious host for us with getting a DJ one night so we could dance the night away, and the restaurant meals made it convenient for dinner and dancing right on site. The WIFI packages to buy work great, coverage obviously gets better the closer you are to the router up front, but no issues really in my room. Breakfasts are put in your mini fridges the afternoon before, which is great to be able to have access to the food when you like. Breakfasts are loaded up with fresh fruits, bread for toasting, butter, jams, cereal, and milk, juice, and water are in the fridge. Daily cleaning is fantastic, thank you ladies :) Fishing is so fun in the lagoon, and access to the local phone to make local calls as needed is great. TK even took us out on his boat one day to explore Heaven and One Foot- STUNNING!! MAHALO TK! There are a few things that could be tended to to make the experience 5 star for our group: Upgrading the mini fridges whose doors are falling off, and tending to the hot plates and AC units in some bungalows in need of fixing. All bungalows pay the same amount to stay, but some do not have working AC, which was a bit disappointing for some of our group who needed it. Sometimes the water goes out, which is fine, but maybe give guests contact numbers for who to call if the office is closed and there is no water. The only other thing (which this accommodation has no control over) is that the neighboring property burns their rubbish every morning and every evening on the beach, which blows straight into the bungalows. Some of us have allergies and sinus conditions, so that was very rough for some of us and we would have to leave the property during these times. We absolutely adore this accommodation and can't wait to return!!! We love Paradise Cove!…
Sub-standard accommodation, that is in great need of TLC. More like beach huts, than beach bungalows. Broken air con, no hot water, broken sun loungers, very noisy toilet after flushing, that took ages to stop. No restaurant, or bar, as advertised. One very unpleasant and dishonest member of staff working there. Would highly recommend staying at Ranginui’s Retreat instead of this run-down place.
Never book this place it’s not fit for human accommodation, everything in this place is broken and/or derelict and I mean everything so of it so bad it’s nearly funny unless you have to stay there from broken Sun loungers to no hot water to windows that arnt windows, avoid at all costs.
We stayed at Paradise Cove for 3 nights which we booked through a local agent. We were grateful for the complimentary pickup from the airport. The bungalows are on a beautiful sandy beach, swimming was good but not snorkeling. The free breakfast was amazing we couldn't eat it all. The bungalows are run down, we booked two bungalows and air con not working in one, fan only worked on one speed. We had a hole in the wall of ours where an old air con unit had been removed and not plugged up, unfortunately we had cockroaches and lizards getting into to our room. We found that if we left the bathroom light going all the time it kept the roaches away. Shower wouldn't turn off properly The bar and restaurant did not open during our stay, we heard from other guests it only opens on a Saturday. The cleaning staff and gardener were very friendly and i think the cleaning staff do an amazing job with what they have to deal with. We did not raise any of the issues with the receptionist as we could see no point. We didn't realize when we booked that there is no on-site manager just an after hours number. We realize this is a budget accommodation, but the accommodation should be maintained, safe and fit for purpose. …
This accommodation is below backpacking standard but are charging above budget prices broken tiles nails sticking out of cupboards and the veranda floor.no hot water.3 days without a change of towels or any cleaning no customer service. All amenities were either broken or you have to pay to use them.Doors don’t close properly.Everything is old and rundown and the place needs a complete overhaul. The location is beautiful but the place needs some serious work done on it
Great place, on the beach, excellent swimming, snorkelling, kayaking! Friendly helpful staff. Free transfers to/from airport. Always stay here! Great location. Challenge yourself and climb mt Mauna pu!
We loved our stay at Paradise Cove! The staff were so lovely, always up for a chat and there to help us when we needed it. We caught some high winds during our stay and wanted to extend our trip. The staff helped to book us in again last minute, thanks again! Our bungalow was so clean, refreshed often and dotted with flowers which was so nice to arrive to. The rooms are simple, but had everything we needed, even coils and repellant which was a bonus! Breakfast was good, and having it delivered meant we could slump out of bed at whatever time the next day and enjoy it on the deck. Beach was always very tidy and the deep water before the coral was perfect for floating around in. I can't even describe how good the spot and views were, just go see it for yourselves! Thank you Moana and all the staff for your hospiltality! Things to note: - Hire a bike/car before you arrive and ask if they are able to drop it at Paradise Cove for you. Instant freedom. - Eat at Odeez, basically next door along the beach and so tasty. - Stay on a Saturday so you can experience the awesome little bar at Paradise Cove!…
