My husband and I and my son, his wife and their 2 year old stayed at the Parador in early June of 2021. The resort was not at 100% capacity yet because of COVID restrictions, maybe about 30-40%. We loved our stay here, the staff was so nice and responsive. One of the guys at the swimming pool reservation area went out of his way to show me a sloth that was in a tree because he saw that I was looking for wildlife. The dining room staff were always pleasant. Lots of smiles from all the staff. We loved all the wildlife that was there on the property. We hiked on their monkey trail one morning and saw the squirrel monkeys and the howlers. The white faced capuchins were all over the property, many times playing on the roofs and along the paths. There were iguanas and plenty of beautiful sounding birds. We got a great picture of a pair of macaws from our balcony. I would strongly suggest staying here. They had everything on the property that you could want, restaurant, bar, store, kids play area, spa, and gym. My husband and I got massages and they were great. It is not a long drive at all to town and to Manuel Antonio Park ( which I strongly suggest visiting) The road is narrow and curvy, but safe. The front desk upgraded us to suites, since we had reserved two other rooms. They thought it would be nicer for us to be in the same building. They did not charge for this upgrade. The suites were fantastic. We enjoyed the family pool on any occasions. Wonderful vacation, wonderful property. Thanks to all the staff who work so hard!

We drove down to Quepos from Tamarindo and stayed at Parador Resort and Spa. The resort is a great value for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. We took a nature tour on the property with Elias and had a great time. We saw both three-toed and a two-toed sloths. The highlight was seeing and photographing three species of frogs and just missing a fourth. We also got a wonderful couples massage. The included breakfast was excellent. Lots of fruit and an omelet station. Lunch and dinner were also very good. I had baked Red Snapper one night. My wife loved the chicken quesadilla. The wildlife on the property is incredible. I saw Mantled Howler, Red Backed Squirrel and White-throated capuchin monkeys on a morning walk on the Monkey Trail. The pools were nice and we used the adult pool which smaller and quieter. They have excellent COVID protocols for safety. We plan to come back in January or February.

This is a five-star hotel top notch. The service is outstanding. The food is absolutely delicious. The best part though is the fact you will see monkeys everyday all around the hotel and even on the balcony. We could almost touch them we were that close. In addition to that we saw macaws, toucans, and a lot of other birds, and of course iguanas.

Dear David S, The interaction with wildlife on property is truly spectacular. Did you see the sloths as well? We hope you took advantage of the Monkey Trails, exploring them on your own or with a guide for the Night Tour allows for even more flora and fauna to experience. The forest comes alive at night, frogs, kinkajous, snakes, insects and much more. Thank you for joining the conversation on this platform! We look forward to hosting you again very soon. Best from the staff at Parador Resort & Spa

Our family traveled here for my son's graduation trip. We have a fantastic time. The premises are incredible, with several pools overlooking the sea. Monkeys of all kinds visit the premises and they have a monkey trail on site. A tour of the Manual Antonio park is recommended, and their on site naturalist Elias is a wonderful tour leader. I asked about the chances of seeing sloths on the tour of the park, and he showed me two mothers with babies in a mango tree by the main pool. Complimentary breakfasts are outstanding, and the $4 drinks at happy hour are great. The staff is consistently excellent and helpful. A pristine beach is a four minute walk, and the hotel arranges for shuttles to the main beach, restaurants, etc. The rooms are excellent, and they upgraded us to a room with a complete kitchen and separate room for our sons. You will not regret staying here. We had others who walked away from their rentals to spend the last few days of their trip at this stunning location.

Dear I7245SPcarlh, We feel honored you chose Parador Resort & Spa to celebrate your son's graduation, and that part of your group ended up joining us here as well! Elias is one of of the best naturalist guides, not just in the Central Pacific area, but in the country. (Check out our blog section on our website for a bit of his backstory.) Even for us, the daily spectacles of sloths, monkeys, macaws, kinkajous, sloths, iguanas and many more, are truly a sight to behold. We appreciate your patronage and look forward to hosting you again in the near future. Pura Vida from your home in Manuel Antonio - Parador Resort & Spa
