Checked in as part of your group for a two night stay. Good space, tv, ac, safe and decent bathroom. Pool , bar and restaurant on premises. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Location is good. Approximately seven minute walk. There are a lot of stores, cafes and restaurants.
A quaint place with lovely walkways and a well maintained, refreshing pool. A short walk to the downtown area. The hotel has units on the other side of the street also, which is oceanfront. The cabins are clean, staff was friendly. Masks are worn by all staff, whi h was our experience in all our CR
This Hotel has the most STUNNING gardens and grounds! Each “bungalow” has a patio with a hammock to better enjoy the lush, tropical greenery. There is a gorgeous pool area and a restaurant with truly delicious food! The rooms themselves are very basic, the bed was quite hard and there was no hot water the first night we stayed. It came back temporarily the next morning but it still wasn’t fantastic.
The hotel, garden and pool are super nice and super clean. The breakfast is also really good. My room wasn’t so clean at first but after I told them they cleaned it again and everything was perfectly fine. The owner of the hotel is super helpful and very welcoming. You should defined stay here! Also the Location is amazing you are very close to the center and also very close to the beach but still have privacy.
This hotel is pure Blessing! So much peace and harmony. The crew is incredible and very kind, the land is very very taken care of and it just feels like a total PARADISE! We Enjoyed Every part of it! Experienced it also as a business holiday, also woth a friend and also as a romantic vacation with my beloved. Highly recommended! We've been searching for a long time the perfect place around the area and didn't find something with so much Value for this price! Thank you all so much! Will be back (:
A great choice. As others have noted you just can’t beat the location of this place..a very easy walk to town/ several restaurants but out of the center of town. The room we had was cute, comfortable and spacious, and everything was in good working order. Large covered porch with a hammock was great. (All units have this.) This hotel occupies two sides of the main road in town. Units on the ocean side are more private with bigger porches...worth the extra money if you can afford it. They really don’t have an ocean view because the jungle has been left in its natural state which we thought was great. You can hear the waves at night which is lovely. Many birds right on the property. Service was fine and they did a small load of laundry for us for $5. The breakfast (not included) was okay but we preferred the wonderful bakery just a two minute walk up the street.…
We had a beautiful stay during our time here. It was so wonderful to encounter our host Ali, and we felt humbled to meet such a kind, friendly, and good person - they are rare to find. The staff always greeted my mother and I with a smile, making us feel very welcome. The tropical gardens surrounding each chalet were beautiful and we were occasionally visited by hummingbirds, and it was lovely to sit outside on the veranda morning and night. There is a pool which has clean blue waters and is nice to cool off in, and you can even catch sloths roaming around close by. The room itself was immaculate and cleaned every day, with new sheets and towels, and the daily emptying of trash. It was also nice to have the hotel’s small restaurant and bar open for a few hours throughout the day. The apartments were very safe, and after a guard checked the premised each night, the gate was securely locked. We were sad to leave this place, most of all our friend Ali, who helped to make our stay perfect in every way, even arranging our transfer to San Jose. We would recommend staying here to anyone who wants a quiet and beautiful place to relax.…
Gorgeous place..lovely rooms..on the small side but perfectly fitted with everything you need. Air con..safe..fridge and hot showers. The gardens are stunning and its soooo close to the town and all the beaches. We hired a 125cc Motorbike for $25 and got to see all the beaches and area in that 1 day.. you could happily do it by push bike if your fit...The area has to be one of the hippest, coolest places on earth..Real Caribbean flavour everywhere..from the gorgeous people to the beautiful wildlife and beaches.. Unbelievably exciting!
The hotel was absolutely fantastic. Its location is near to town (1000 m to the bus stop on the other side of the town center) but very quiet. The staff spoke English, had free coffee in the mornings, and had seriously comfortable mattresses. We stayed in the garden bungalow. The hot water was a touch finicky, but was always usable. The water itself isn't potable, but there was a working fridge and the AC worked great.
Perfectly situated to the town, the grounds are beautifully maintained and the staff very, very nice. The fellow who checked us in instructed us how to unlatch the gates which appeared to be moldy or dirty. In our room, 6A, the showerhead needs to be replaced or restored, consequently providing uneven flow. There were two signs in the shower stall, one reminded us to wait a minute for hot water and the other instructing us to shower briefly. The metal shower stall door came off its track on a couple of occasions. The water is not potable and they charge $2 for bottled water. No tea and coffee making. Despite the bathroom, the rooms are quite clean. I liked the property’s proximity to the town and that it was very quiet.
