My room overlooked the white sand beach & the entrance to the National Park. Having both beach & jungle together was the best of both worlds. Sleeping to the sound of crashing waves soothed my soul. The food was excellent as well.

We went here for some food after spending the day at the National Park. We had a table on the sand with a beautiful view of the water. There was also a sloth hanging out at the restaurant which was pretty cool. The fresh tropical drinks were delicious. We ordered the enchiladas and a burrito and both were just average and not quite as warm as we would have expected, but the location made up for it.

The hotel offers a great way to be close to Cahuita´s town center and especially to the National Park. The accommodations are simple but the staff is very friendly. The restaurant offers some great Caribbean dishes full of savor.

The bar has an awesome view to the beach. We had a cocktail and an iced coffee to drink and a local dish called Cassados. We shared the main dish between us two and it was a perfect portion. The staff were friendly and they were helpful and fair with the exchange rate between colones and dollars.

I stayed just one night , the hotel is not the best, there are very small rooms specially in the third floor and being up and down is really bored, the staff is too kind, the view is just perfect cause is right in the entrance of the cahuita national park, they got a restaurante but opens late and closes too early...by the way if you pay with credit card the room is more expensive, without card the let the room in 40 dolars, with card 50

I walked through the whole stretch with my boyfriend while we stayed in Cahuita. It was the first hike we'd been able to go on that felt like a hike. It was about 8 or 9 miles round trip and we didn't have to go with a guide. There were tons of tourists during the first part of the hike, but it cleared out considerably. The trail was distinct and easy to follow the whole time. The beach was nearly always in view. We saw monkeys, lizards, crabs and more. There were cool places to break off and go for a swim. It felt a lot less busy and crowded than other "hikes" we went on.

Beautiful, tranquilla, lots of animals to see. Beach was not over crowded. Not great for swimming because thr waters pretty ruff but all together a great peaceful place. I wpuld defiantly come here again. For a good hotel close to the beach try Secret Garden was great for the money!#

We booked in at 09:45 gave a donation to the Park Warden, we gave ¢4000 for the both of us, which is about £7-8, which I thought was not a lot considering we had to pay $15 each for Tortuguero. He seemed over the moon, then I realised why, when we watched the next three groups hand over a few coins each, tight gits.... We walked the full length of the trail, with breathtaking stops on the way. The beaches are empty and stunning. The wildlife abundance was mind blowing including a small bait ball being eaten by tarplin, a small shark and heron, we spent half an hour watching.

This hotel has A/C and hot water. The bugs aren't going to walk away with your suitcase. The rooms are nice and clean, including a small fridge and tv. Our rooms over looked the corner of Cahuita National Park. The price for room was amazing inexpensive considering it had AC This is the best hotel we stayed in Cahuita I would recommend it to any traveller

This is our second year here and it is ever as chill as could be. Come here if you want be left alone. We sit on the porch, drink our beers and watch the ocean. Period and it couldn't be more perfect. There is a restaurant downstairs that has food, pool and a snickers dispensary (hehe) with the local news on the television. Easiest place in the world - does have hot water. Internet is better this year. :) Thank you again for a wonderful stay, we kept extending our trip. The best way to get a room is to go there and talk to Maria or Ricky. Online does not seem to be an option (they are that low key) but there are usually plenty of rooms. The higher the floor, the better the view!
