Loved the pools and the staff and the overall location of this resort. The steep hill made for a healthy burn off of all the food and drinks. We met so many nice people in the infinity pool. It was a wonderful stay.
Condo Vac Resort is located on the side of a hill top with beach access at the bottom of the resort. There is a steep incline up to the top where the restuarants and pools are located. We walked for the exercise, but you can take the little shuttle as well. We had a 1 bedroom condo with kitchen. If you plan on cooking in your condo, please note the cooking utensils are minimal! 1 spatula, 1 Spoon, 1 Knife and the pots and pans have seen better days. Oh, bring your own paper towels! It was impossible to actually cook in the condo. We were encouraged to purchase the all inclusive deal. This is perfectly fine for the type of person that likes eating from a high sodium buffett day in and day out. We actually found a couple great restuarants close by. Ginger is across the street from the Condo Vac and is pretty good. Also in Playa Coco, we had home made pasta and gniocchi from Verde Salvia that was memorable!! The units are clean, no view but you really don't want to hang in your condo when you have the ocean or day trips to cute beach towns.…
This is an amazing place to have a quiet yet spectacular getaway. It has waterfall edge pools with ocean views that make you want to stay forever. The wild animal life was unforgettable. The cherry on top was the all inclusive. There's no replacement for having everything you need at your fingertips.
Amazing place, great views, friendly staff, tasty food, well kept rooms and clean. Randall from Costa Rica Unique is great at getting you in for adventures and experiences. What an amazing trip and great place to stay!
We are staying for almost a week in a platinum villa, only second floor has hot water, main floor only cold water. Would rate room 3 out of 5. However our main complain is the overpriced restaurant, the food is at best average and overpriced. My wife ordered fish tacos, 7000 colons (~$10), she got 3 simple supermarket tortillas with an under seasoned fish, lettuce and a sprinkle of cheese, no sauce, no guacamole, no sides. I ordered a fish burger, 7500 colons (~$11) deep fried fish with cheap bacon/ham, couple of cheese slices, simple supermarket bread, some onions, lettuce and tomato, came with flabby fries. In general food is no better than what you will find in the average Costa Rican “soda” (for visitors a soda is a cheap street food restaurant) and it is priced 2-3x the price of a “soda”. For the price charged tacos should have homemade tortillas with cheese, some interesting sauce and come with a side, like well made fries. Burger should have craft bread, swiss or mozzarella cheese, a tartar sauce and well made fries. Restaurant summary: overpriced and underwhelming.…
