Great place for family or friends trip. Condo was right on the beach so it felt like you had your own beach. We had a 3 bedroom with full kitchen with all the amenities. Our rep was so nice and helpful with local places to visit

This is not a resort. It is a very dirty old hotel that is nothing like descriptions on websites. Jacuzzi, not useable because no water in it, only drywall pieces. Our front door was broken. Pool was dirty and 1/3 tiles missing. No bar or restaurant at all!! No staff except for one security guy who did not know what was going on. We booked 4 nights, stayed one because it is so bad, and mis advertised in all aspects. Owner said no refund, we will now go to Hotels.com for help.

Would definitely not recommend! Had a reservation for 4 nights and checked out after 1st night. The only reason we stayed the first night was because it was so late. The pool was absolutely hideous. The pictures showed a pool bar and a hot tub, it's beyond words to describe how in such disrepair everything was. Small lock on the door could be opened with a credit card due to the number of times it had been jimmied.

Very cute hotel with a beautiful view. The front desk was never staffed and there was a language barrier that we had to figure out through Google translate with the security guard. Eventually we were let into our room by the security guard who was super nice and patient with us. The wifi is horrible. Don’t go there if you need to do things for work by computer. Overall, it was a great location next to Flamingo Beach and okay experience. There’s restaurants and shops nearby that are good and you can walk or drive to whatever you need.

we checked in and the security guy spoke very little English...got the room key, and found no coffee maker or hangers..went back to him, and after some dialogue and using a translator app, he reappeared from his unit and gave us his personal hangers and coffee maker...after the first night, the bed and the couch were VERY uncomfortable, you could feel the springs....the onsite restaurant has been closed for sometime, as well as the swim up pool bar...the pool furniture is made out of wood, and you can see the splinters....had to purchase dish soap with our groceries as there wasn't any in the unit, and the utensils were dirty! Tried to ask for a wash cloth, and hand towels, but they said all they had were bath towels...we were supposed to be there for 6 nights, but left after 2 nights...both nights, there were only 3 cars in the parking lot...do yourself a favor, and don't stay there.............

OMG this place is horrible. No reservation system, no bar, no restaurant- there is nothing but a run down resort. Pics on the websites are VERY old - New mgmt has ruined the place and does not care!

Place is a GHOST TOWN, no one at front desk, no restaurants, no bar, run down and very OLD. I'm sure the rooms are filled with bugs and critters. Owners (from New York) are extremely rude and unaccomodating. I would not stay at this place if it was free. Photos of Monkey bar are old. This couple purchased and tried to charge the prices in New York for drinks and it didn't work out. I would steer clear, there are many other resorts that are awesome! I would stay here if someone paid me to do it!

We arrived at check-in time (14.00) and there were nobody at the reception. Or anywhere at all. The hotel looked like it has been abandoned for several years. We left and found something else. Atm working on getting our money back. The hotel shouldn’t be available for bookings.

At check in the reception was a guy by himself who said that there were no expected check in’s. I said I booked 6 hours ago with priceline. He said sorry I don’t know what that is. I asked him to check the computer to see my reservation. His response was I don’t do that. My boss calls me when there is a reservation. No computer. No system. No workers. No bar. No restaurant. No toilet paper. Dirty walls. Severely in need of repairs and maintenance. This was possibly a nice place many years ago. Now it’s a don’t even bother kind of place. If Priceline policy on change or cancel was different, I would have left after the reception refused to look for for my reservation. Complete waste of my money and more importantly my time.

This is a resort mostly for locals - reception speak limited english and there is no concierge. WIFI is also limited mostly to the reception area. BEWARE - there are 2 sections to this "resort"/abnb - the reception side has cleaner, more modern rooms. The other, I refer to as road side motel, is old and things have not been updated for quite sometime - they put me there 1st. Luckily, I met someone on my way there who already warned me that one side is not so nice. The guy at reception was pretty accommodating. When I asked for a different room on the other side, he just agreed. People here in Costa Rica are super friendly. It is just our awareness of how things work.
