The rooms were spacious, clean and comfy with a veranda looking out into the amazing garden and pool area. It was so peaceful and relaxing.
Parking was inside a gated area, and we never had an issue getting a spot.
The garden bar was closed the 2 nights we stayed. It looked like a fun place to have a drink, but I'm not sure if it would get noisy at night since it is right next to the pool and near the guest rooms.
It's also worth mentioning that it's about a 10 minute walk to the main road and the area is a bit isolated. I have no doubt the area is perfectly safe, but it's something to be aware of particularly if you are travelling alone.
I loved this hotel and wound up spending as much time by the pool as I did going to the beach. If I had known how lovely the garden was I would have stayed a couple more days.

I love this place!!! The staff are all so kind and friendly, especially the ladies who cooked our breakfast and the man working the check in office! The check in process was easy and quick and our room was extremely clean and neat.

This hotel is absolutely perfect walking distance from the beach and many wonderful restaurants. The included breakfast here is very delicious too, thanks to the lovely breakfast chefs.

Our room included a microwave, a much needed air conditioning unit, a large flatscreen TV, and best of all, a small balcony. The pool is located in the center of the complex and is stunning!

We had a wonderful time at this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. We will absolutely be coming back.

We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights and 10 days due to its convenient location and great prices. Everything about it was really nice. Large shower, balcony, large room, friendly staff, the pool, and the Garden Bar. The hotel grounds also had a ton of plants and trees which added privacy. The best part about it was how close it is to everything. Just a few minutes walk and you're at the beach, grocery store, dive shop, or tons of amazing restaurants! We did use Frank the Tank Tours for the airport transfers and did a few tours while we were there and they were all amazing! Would highly recommend this hotel to people who want to stay in Coco Beach.

*I am guessing the good reviews are from the main hotel. There are both a main hotel, and a secondary location that is over a block away. Review is of the secondary location* We got to the hotel pretty late. After checking in, we were told the only rooms available were at the secondary location across the street, and she would grab the golf cart to take us over there. We pile into the cart with our bags and we were off. We go one block, around a corner, and almost another block before we pull up to the other location. Our car is back at the main hotel 2 blocks away because there is no parking. Cool. I dont mind a few extra steps here or there. Not the most convenient, but it's fine. She unlocks the gate and leads us to the room. When she opens the door, I look in and am greeted with what can only be described as comparitive to a crack house. The paint on the walls was chipped. The light/fan was half burned out, there was a cloth closet in a corner, the tile in the bathroom was cracked and dirty, and the tiny mirror was placed so high I could only see half my face. For refrence, Im 5'6" so unless your around 5'10", all the luck to you. It was late, so even though we are all disgusted, we decided to get some sleep and maybe, just maybe, it would look better in the morning. (It, in fact, did not look better in the morning). The hotel seriously lacks soundproofing, so we were sung to sleep by the neighbors dog barking, rooster crowing, and the numerous cars driving by. Needless to say, we forefited the last 2 nights that we booked and went to Tamarindo. I dont mind a dive hotel here or there if it's clean and you're expecting it to be crappy, but when a room is $150/night I expect it to be at least half decent. Attaching pictures so that you dont have to take my word for it.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family who can be high maintenance hotel wise. We were all thoroughly impressed by the staff, cleanliness and overall experience. Restaurant was so good we ate there both nights. Super close walk to downtown without all the noise and busyness. Hotel grounds feels like a well-to-do friends backyard meaning super inviting with a safe and private atmosphere.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary mid-February 2024. Lovely small hotel. Rooms were spacious and very clean, with small patio. All staff were courteous, friendly and diligent in doing their jobs, from the groundskeeper, cleaning staff, reception and bar/wait staff (special shout out to Claudia). Included a freshly made breakfast (choice of 4 or 5 items). Good location, easy to walk to downtown - Hotel sits on street that runs parallel to the main drag, only 1 block away. Would definitely stay again!

Strongly recommend reading negative reviews. This hotel consists of two totally separate properties, one is three star, the other barely qualifies as one star. We saw the pretty pictures—all of which are of the three star hotel, but unfortunately ended up in the dump. Inadequate bedding, inadequate window covers, zero amenities, one bare lightbulb, not even a chair to sit in. The property also refused to refund anything when we needed to switch hotels. We love Costa Rica, but we do not love this property. Do not recommend it.

First the good- The location is the best. Close to everything. The staff were all very nice. The pool area was nice and cozy. The food at the restaurant at night was really really good. Also be sure to check out the steak place near the second set of rooms, so good!

The not so good- We booked four rooms here. When we checked in, half our group got rooms in the main building and half our group was down the street. The rooms around the corner, are really rough and old. Our rooms never got cleaned in the several days we were there, even though we hung the sign. Since there are no phones, we walked back to the front to ask why our rooms didn't get cleaned since we had piled our towels and now they were all wet. They had no reason, just told me to take some pool towels. Our shower didn't really drain and the sprayer just went all over the place and flooded the bathroom every time we showered. It just felt like we didn't even belong to the same hotel, like we were kinda forgotten over there.

Those rooms are also next to a residential apartment building. Someone there locked a dog on the porch and it barked nonstop from about midnight till 3 am. Good times....

One day we returned from the beach ready to hit the pool, to find it full of kids. They had rented (?) out the pool area for a dance group. There were no available seats and there were over a dozen children running around. Not exactly enjoyable for the paying customers.

We stayed in room E, which is a very large upstairs loft with a vaulted ceiling. It felt a little dated, but it was a nice enough place to crash for the night in Coco. Probably a 10 minute walk to the strip in Coco. The bar comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was average, check in and out was easy. Recommended for a short stay. Couldn't imagine a week there.

We picked this hotel based on the proximity to the beach and the airport. Location was excellent, hotel was clean and tidy. Basic hotel but all we needed for the night. The bar was packed when we returned from dinner, full of welcoming expats willing to answer all of our questions about the area. Perfect spot if you are going down the coast and need a rest from your travels on arrival.
