If you are going to stay in Coco, Toro Blanco is the place to stay. Very close to everything, beach, restaurants, shops, etc. There is a place in the corner where you can rent a scooter to go exploring other places. Toro Blanco is under new administration and is being renovated now, very friendly staff, clean rooms, nice and spacious balcony with pool view. We had a very good experience here. If we go back to Coco we will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed here for a month and loved our time there. It was our second time to this hotel so we knew what we were getting. Leo, Frederica and Micki are fantastic staff and their beautiful animals only add to the place. We just loved the pool, the location and the room. Housekeeping went above and beyond and they worked so hard every single day. The only downside to our experience were the beds. We had 2 twins and they were both hard and very uncomfortable. The bigger beds are the same so we didn't change rooms but it made it hard to sleep. Overall, a great place to stay and would definitely go back if we're in the area.The best part was meeting our Canadian neighbors!! Thanks everyone y PURA VIDA!!

We loved it here. The only negative for us was the bed but Loved the pool, 1 block from beach (pool is better than the beach) downtown heart of coco which was nice to go and eat, walk. Family is Italian which I guessed by all the beautiful Murano glass lights hanging and they were amazing. This would be an awesome place for a group to stay and or a wedding location. Yes is it a but dated but still awesome. We enjoyed the stay! Loved the parquita say “la cucracha” and he repeats!

Super hospitable family run operation. Gated, night security guard, CLEAN, pool, AC, kitchenette and all for a great price. There were several other options in the area for similar prices but could not even compare to the value!

This is a place that is near the center of town , sadly this place is in need of upgrade and repairs the interiors are dated and mattress very hard , there is a small tv and a table outside kitchen is basic and lacked hot water...this is a nice concept but needs work and a bit pricey.pool was nice.

I arrived very early I think around 9-10 am in the morning. The reception gave me immediately which was highly appreciated from my side as I had traveled whole night. The reception was very very nice even though I don't speak much Spanish (at all). The room was ok sized with kitchen. The Wifi only worked outside my room and the bathroom wasn't that nice, but then to the good things... I really loved that patio. You can either sit on rocking chair or lay on sun bed or play cards around the table. The pool was also very nice as the beach in Playas del Coco was huge disappointment. I also really loved the "house owners" 1 parrot, 1 cat and 1 dog. The cat came to check that housekeeping had cleaned my house... this is service! Overall after my three nights in Toro Blanco Resort I felt like I was leaving from home...…

Friendly staff and nice dogs! We really liked staying here having a kitchenette and private outdoor seating area with table. Very short walk to beach. Nice pool. A little pricey but we would stay there again.

sorry, we accept negative critiques if they are constructive, but the history about the reservation spoke by the gentleman is not true. The reservation has NEVER been canceled, if we have the possibility we can send you the documents where you can see this. We don't known why the client speak now from february because if he was right he can asked with expedia the refund because we have a legal contract with them that told we can charge the money 1 month before the day of arrival the reservation, not 3 months before. We ask with trip advisor if you can cancel this comment because is not true and we are penalizes. Thanks

The place could been cleaner. Tiles missing from the pool lots of leaves, it didn't look refreshing at all. The water in the shower never got warm. Bed was so-so. For a hundred bucks a night I think I could find better accommodations, but when they had vacancies and the owners seemed like nice people. All in all it worked for what I needed and it was close to town and felt safe there.
