The hotel was comfortable, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I only stayed one short night, so was unable to try the restaurant, fitness center and other amenities. It is very close to the airport and they held our car key so the rental agency could retrieve the car. Very helpful.
We stayed here the night we landed at LIR, and we also stayed the night before we flew back to the US. On both occasions we were happy with our stay. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean, and the location is perfect for airport access. We got wonderful sleep on both nights. The breakfast was perfect for our family, although I wish is was automatically included in the price of the room. The pool looked lovely, though we didn't have a chance to use it. Wifi is complimentary with a strong signal. The free airport shuttle is very convenient, and we utilized it on the night of our arrival (very late!) as well as the morning we needed to get back to the airport to fly home. Also, we rented a vehicle from Sixt, which is just down the road. Upon our departure, we were able to give our keys to the hotel front desk, and Sixt later picked up the vehicle from the hotel. We appreciated this option at the hotel.…
We stayed here when we got in late to Liberia airport, and again on our way out before an early flight. The rooms were clean, check-in was easy, transport to / from the airport was a breeze, and the pool was lovely. The hotel restaurant is serviceable if a bit expensive, but met our needs. My only advice is that the restaurant closes at 10pm so if you are getting in late from a flight that doesn't serve dinner (as we did), you should prepare to pick up some food.
This hotel was a beautiful place to stay before our flight. It’s like an oasis in the city. The pool area is lovely. The room service was delicious, super quick and very reasonably priced. We had breakfast at the restaurant and that was also very good. The staff is very friendly
My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Hilton. We've stayed here last 2017. The hotel has matured since then. The grounds have grown and the maintenance has improved. The staff have improved there services as well. Our honors gold did not provide a room upgrade (occupancy was low) but did give us a choice of points or breakfast buffet for 2. The buffet was excellent. Our 1st night i ordered a hamburger and the restaurant was out of bread? There is a PriceSmart ( costco) next door. I opted to not have room cleaning and tried to call front desk but in room phone didn't work. Then I waited in Honors line to ask Steven for water and coffee for 2nd night only to return at end of day to find neither. 2nd trip to Honors desk with 4 checkins in front to ask for water and coffee. Steven denied my request for 2 free drink coupon. I informed Steven I would include in my review. Removed 1 star. Probably the best hotel near the airport but not perfect!…
This hotel is such a gem. Near the airport so that we landed in the country for our vacation, we could rest up for a night before hitting the road. With low competition from other airport hotels, they could simply get by with just a good location. But they give you a great hotel also. Food was so good. Massage was great. So so glad we started our vacation here. It is very close to Avis rental car. Hotel pickup was perfect. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Gift store pricey. Boutique outrageously expensive for some reason. But in general . . . Stay here !!
This hotel was wonderful. Cute little shops inside including one that sold books which has been hard to find in Costa Rica. We had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and very fresh. Breakfast was also very good serving authentic CR dishes, a fresh omelette bar, fresh fruit and yogurts. Rooms were clean and the ac felt delightful!
A new property that is very well kept. Very close to the airport with a Free shuttle. Nice outdoor area to relax by the pool. All The staff are super nice and helpful. The room was nice and the bed slept great. The room came with a free breakfast bar. In the morning The on site restaurant was very good with awesome food. We will be back again for sure!
I went on Aug 12 to have dinner with some friends since we were celebrating a birthday. Staff was super kind and friendly. Food was ok, not great. I ordered a pizza (great price for the size) that gave me a heartburn through the night. Similar thing happened to one of my friends who ordered penne with shrimp. What I really disliked is that they DID NOT INCLUDE SALES NOR TIP TAXES in the menu, and this is highly illegal in the country. All prices displayed on a menu MUST give you the final amount expected to be paid. For that only, I’ll think again before going back.
As many other travelers, we booked one night here for an early morning flight. The airport shuttle was reliable/on-time, the front desk staff was pleasant, restaurant was good and reasonably priced... and I was even able to book the day spa/in-room massage last minute! One star knocked off because of the slightly off/musty smell in our room. I know this is common in tropical places, but it was unexpected for being a hilton property in westernized setting. Tip: We were surprised how full/difficult it was to get a reservation last minute - we had to change our flight a few times and thought it would be easy to get a room, but I think many people were like us since this is the only hotel right *at* the Guanacaste airport - so make your reservation early!
