We loved this family friendly resort. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the location was close to nearby excursions. The on site hot springs and swim up bar were a great way to enjoy the evenings.

We did not stay at the hotel but we came for the day! It was so relaxing and I think we came out of their “busy season” so there weren’t many people there! We went at 11 am when they opened, stayed for lunch which was a buffet with fresh vegan options, we had a couple Swedish massage which was SO great and relaxing. We came in late May and people started filling the springs after 4 pm. The top coffee bar had the most wonderful view of the volcano and it was such a fun relaxing experience. They had lockers available so you could just relax and have fun! Definitely recommend spending at least 1/2 day!

My family of 4 (kids 18 &22) stayed for our first 2 nights in Costa Rica. The rooms were basic, but very comfortable, The AC worked great and so did the wi-fi. The views were incredible. While our cabins were next to each other, we had to walk through bushes or down the driveway and back up theirs to get back and forth We ate dinner there once and breakfast twice, actually once. We had to leave early when we checked out, so they packed us a to-go breakfast. The dinner and the breakfast buffet were both very good. We were a little disappointed that the hot springs were not that hot. The pool was nice and the swim up bar looked like lots of fun. We chose to go to Sky Trek, instead of doing the zip line on property.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel which was booked as part of a tour of Costa Rica. Our room (#127) was a spacious triple with extremely effective air conditioning and everything we needed. Two minor issues (which in fairness we didn’t report at the time) with the in-room safe and a shower with no hot water. We had a couple of delicious meals at the on-site snack bar and all of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area was great and we really enjoyed a fun afternoon at the hot springs. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Hotel located between la fortuna and arenal volcan area! Lodge are beautiful with an Wonderful view on the volcan. Pools, hot springs, bars and restaurants are good! Perfect spot for 2-3 days during a visit of arenal areas, I recommend it!!

Great beautiful location w great view of volcano. Staff was friendly and breakfast buffet good! Hot springs were great and well designed. Our “room” was fine, good AC and shower. One suggestion, our location was at far end so quiet from other guests but close to main road and heard dogs then roosters over night. A white noise app would solve that! We slept fine all in all. Reminddd us of South African coast locations!

Incredible view of the volcano from individual cabins. Mineral hot spring pools, as well as traditional pool with towel service. Great breakfast buffet with lots of options. Large dinner menu. Beautiful grounds.

The location is excellent, right in front of the Volcano, the gardens are beautiful. We stayed in Superior room, large, clean, good beds and pillows, double terrasse, front and back wish was a plus to hear the bird’s early morning. The fridge did not work. AC exceptionally good. The springs pools are fine, but it misses a cold shower nearby to cool off and continue with the experience, to cool off you must go to the main pool. Dinner in the main restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was the norm. The drinks at the pool bar were not good, we ordered margaritas (bad), later mojitos and gin and tonic. They need to improve quality. You can stay longer after checking out (great), but the showers at the towell house are not good, two bad showers out of three, no dressing rooms, must dress in the toilet room. The hotel and restaurant personnel are polite and very caring.…

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. All went very well. The only remark is that the evening we ate there the service was quite slow. Other than that: very good! The room was spacious, comfortable, with a view of the volcano, coffee machine, safe and refrigerator and air conditioning. Very nice patio with incredible view. The laundry service reliable and affordable. Personnel very friendly both at breakfast and maintenance (the batteries of the air conditioning remote control had to be replaced). Did not try the hot springs but others enjoyed.

We loved the smaller hot springs on site that we got to enjoy. The staff was friendly and the reception was nicely set up for groups coming and going for all different activities. We really enjoyed our stay.
