After a harrowing day of traveling with a teething infant, Sherry the receptionist made us feel like we had come home. She upgraded our room to the most spectacular suite I’ve ever seen. Staff rolled in an immaculately clean pack n play for our baby and my husband and I relaxed with take out from Hero’s sports grille while we watched a free movie. The bed and couches were very comfortable, the room was quiet with a sweet view of Cathedral square and the sheets and towels soft and fluffy. The ginormous bath tub and shower for two made the night extra memorable. We ended our stay with a delicious breakfast at the Monkey Bar where friendly waiters Jon and Sarah took excellent care of us. Sarah even offered to hold our baby while my husband buttered his English muffin. After a cup of twinning’s Earl Grey, I briefly considered moving in permanently. This hotel truly lives up to Hilton’s mission to make every stay brighter and better.

On this particular trip, it was a business trip for my Honeywell employed husband and leisure for myself.
The location is extremely desirable. Parking is $18 a day but street parking is going to cost you more than that and their parking lot is secured by the motorized arms. You can walk to SO many sights, restaurants, etc. Sherry at the front desk was extremely helpful and made me feel welcomed. She was consistently helpful with everything from my personal needs to giving me a map and answering my questions about various sights.
The hotel either overlooks the parking lot (where you can still see the church steeples and skyline) or the park. There may be other views but this is what I’m aware of. I would choose the park but that’s me missing home (Savannah) and appreciating the beautiful old Oaks.
The lobby is lovely. Everything is kept clean and tidy. The room attendants were very kind. Every employ I encountered but one was very approachable and kind.
The only problem that I have to report is, I was not very impressed with the restaurant. The bartender after happy hour was amazing. The servers were really nice. The problem that I ran into was that I don’t like to eat by myself, so I went downstairs and asked for the buffet to go. The server rang me up and was getting me a to-go box, when suddenly, a short haired woman came out from the back, and was not very nice about telling me that you couldn’t get the buffet to go. I didn’t really have a problem with this policy. Some buffets you can get to go; some buffets, you cannot. The problem I had was twofold. Number one she acted as if I was not a customer or like I was trying to get away with something and I really didn’t appreciate that. The second part was that paying for the buffet, because they had to void out the ticket, was cheaper than me getting simply bacon, eggs, and grits to go. I don’t understand how a buffet is cheaper than a very small breakfast meal. So, when you combine the woman’s attitude toward me with the price difference, it felt as if I was treated very poorly… is the nicest way to put it. I would not go back downstairs for breakfast. I’m not sure I would go back downstairs for breakfast if it were free.
Overall, I would stay at this hotel again unless I was looking for a pool/hot tub. I wouldn’t recommend breakfast service. Happy Hour was fun. Drinks after hours are good and the bartenders relatable. The front desk staff are each lovely and have great attitudes. The room was comfortable and up to date. The additional microwave and mini fridge were nice. The keurig was VERY appreciated by this coffee lover.

This was our second stay here and from the front desk staff to the cleaning team and breakfast and dinner service, everyone at the hotel is incredibly friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciate the intimate, smaller size of the hotel compared to others in the area. The convenience of being able to park my car right outside the door is another great perk. The only downside was when we arrived, I noticed a man rummaging through a nearby trashcan off the property, and I saw him several times during our stay. While this is beyond the hotel’s control, it's just part of the downtown experience. Also, the French toast was excellent.

The entire staff at this hotel is exceptional.. By far the friendliest staff we have encountered during hotel visits. The food was great. The hotel and rooms were all very clean and well kept. Everyone from the front desk staff, housekeeping, cooks, and management was extremely helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this property and we will be back

This is by far the best Hilton property that I have stayed at in Mobile. Central location to restaurants, great staff that takes their time to address any question, reasonably price and great tasting food. Makes business trips more enjoyable.

Best hotel in Mobile if you looking for convenience, design, comfort, quickness and great parking/safety. We were here for work. The staff was very kind, quick and welcoming. Check-in was easy and our rooms were updated, super clean and nice. The hotel Lobby is superb and stylish...also great for a meeting. They have private rooms and areas you can have phone calls or simply work. The breakfast was great, affordable and the staff was quick to get us going in the morning. The hotel has coffee in rooms and restaurant. Housekeeping was amazing and did clean every day as requested. In fact - we left our very expensive Drone there we use for work and they turned it into the Front Desk, the manager called and FedExed it to us since we were already on the plane. This hotel is 110%. Its also located on the Park so its perfect for a stroll or fresh air. Walking distance to all the bars and restaurants. Easy to access mobility wise and the mini luggage carts are new too. From someone who travels all over the world - I really wish every hotel was like this one! Its just a 10/10. Personally, I enjoyed the secured parking lot located outside the front door.

The Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Mobile is in the perfect location close to many restaurants and shops. Security is terrific with card access to doors and elevators and a security guard onsite in the evening. Parking is easy. Rooms are spacious and updated. Would definitely stay here again.

I last stayed here two years ago, and it was time for another visit on company business.
I am happy to report, that two years later, I still find that this is a five star establishment.
The location is great in downtown Mobile, and even better if you get a room with a nice park view across the street.
The lobby is cozy, and the restaurant servers were friendly and had fast service. The front desk employees were very helpful as well.
I had a room on the 5th Floor, and found the room to be very quiet, and all the furnishings to be in good order and comfortable. Everything worked perfectly. I do wish the pillows were a bit more firm; however, that is probably the brand standard and not indicitive of this particular hotel.

This hotel was amazing. We stayed in a suite-large living room, decadent bath, two bathrooms and a large balcony overlooking a park. Walking distance to everything downtown. Great staff, especially the breakfast server.

We were in town for the ServisFirst Bank Mobile Half Marathon. We are completing a half marathon in all 50 states and this was state #29. Moral of the story is we have stayed in many hotels and this was one of the best rooms. The suite had more than enough room, 2 bathrooms ( how awesome is that) and the balcony was so great to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Within walking distance of everything downtown. I didn’t feel $13 to park was expensive, just paid $40 in New Orleans on same trip. Staff is very polite and helpful. Very clean Felt safe

Hi Boise Traveler. We have more than a game room - we have a Media Room. Play x-box, wii, and other games you can check out from our front desk. Three stations, a spacious room and comfortable furnishings. No charge. All ages but we do require parents to watch their kids. We find that adults like it as much as the kids. I hope you will check it out.
