Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The hotel is a business hotel where most of the travelers are professionals, I have not seen much f the family travelers there. The room size was really huge but the decor was quite outdated and old. The bathroom was and toiletries were not up to the mark and here the hotel really needs to improve a lot. Location wise the hotel is fine and you can easily commute to any place in Chennai easily, via bus. Taxi and autos are always at your disposal. The one USP of the was the Food, the food was really great, and if you really looking for south Indian cuisine you can try the resturant upstairs on the top floor.

The basic rooms are rather run down and in need of refurbishment, however they are large and the bathrooms are very spacious. The age of the furniture and fixtures is reflected in the discount offered. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s not a fancy place really, but if you have a tight budget it’s not a bad place to stay.

Very nice place to stay with family, good ambience view. Awesome transportation of car facilities & immediate response on all our requirements and service is very prompt . Hotel infrastructure is superb and we'll maintained. Vegetarian people will like all kind of variety like north style.. Reliable distance of outside hotels & easy transports..

This hotel is in a central location where one can access to many shopping complexes. Rooms are spacious, clean and cool. The Veg. Restaurant is very spacious and has many verities and delicious India dishes available.

Located close to #ADMK #PartyOffice in Royapettah, this property offers some of the finest veggie delicacies at an affordable price.
They have enough parking facility for 2/4 wheelers and best part is they also have #Jainfood option.
I was there this afternoon to have #lunch #buffet.
I started with starters and ended with desserts 🍨

My parents stayed in Hotel Regenta Deccan, Chennai from 25 July to 31st July 2020. This is booked through Eagle travels Dammam, Saudiarabia. Double room is good to stay and no issues. But issues are with Food quality, No Wifi and No water served. After the repeated request for the 1st 3 days, Water 5 litres was served for another 3 days. Food quality was worst for 1st 3 days. Some improvement there after repeated request. No free WiFi was provided till the end of stay despite the advt in website shows as Free WiFi. Food quality served not matching with 3 star status. Not recommended to stay here in future.

Worst place to stay. Bad experience I had in my life. It is a luxury hotel by outside, but if you go and check inside of the rooms you will definitely hate it. Don't go for this if you need a good stay.

Being part of Royal Orchid group, I expected it to be clean and tidy but it turned out to be a nightmare. Place is old and not maintained well. Bedsheets and towels were stained (probably they were not changed) with many hair strands on them, even worn off. Sofa and chair were heavily stained and fabric is too worn. I stayed here just for a night and had a terrible experience.
It is having centralised air conditioning and someone was smoking probably in adjacent room and my room was also stinking. Stains all over the walls, mould on ceiling and washroom was hideous. Stained bathroom and with flies in the bathroom is the worst thing you expect in a Hotel.
It is a budget hotel and should not be considered for leisure stays. I booked it as it was a Royal Orchid hotel without checking the reviews while I later regretted.

Recently got to taste the new launched vegetarian buffet at Olives Regenta Central Deccan, Chennai. Post covid they have relaunched their veg menu at 499/-
Yes!! For real!!
It's a part of Royal Orchid Hotels Group which is operating across India with close to 50 properties. Coming on to the food part, the veg buffet menu was pretty extensive and they serve soup and starters to the table.
The starters were so yummy mainly cheese nuggets have my heart❤️.

Never ever thought that this is how Royal Orchid group maintains the hotel. I never had a bad experience with them.The hotel rooms are just pathetic. Cockroaches welcomed us when we checked in the hotel. After complaining they did some paste control but with no respite. Had to change the room but with similar experience. The room was smelly and felt like they have not maintained it for long. Even the switchboards were broken or worn out. Royal orchid please please take care of this hotel.

Yes. They are arranging. But charges are higher 1200+Tax. If you book uber/Ola it will be less than 500. Inside the airport itself, we are having Pre paid taxi booking and their charges will be around Rs.500
cant recall the check in chek out time. Pl confirm from the hotel/website. The double bed in the room is spacious, and the room size is quite big, and hence additional bed shud not be a problem.
