If any one wants to visit Chennai for Office Tour or Business Tour then the Hotel is recommended. The location is very well connected by public conveyance as it is within walking distance from Chennai Central. It is a pure Lodging. There is no bar on use of hot water or pure and safe drinking water. There is a little language problem but can be adjusted. The rooms are clean and regularly cleaned once a day. If you look for decent budget hotel in Chennai with decent food, than do look no more. This hotel is cheap, with friendly staff. Although there is no wifi, there is good freeview TV with some English movie channels. There is no hot shower, but you will get a bucket with hot water. Moreover you get a complimentary towel, but need to ask. The check-out time depends when you check-in, which can be really helpful if you have onward transport booked for afternoon. For example if you check in at 5pm one day, you can check-out at 5pm next day.
Although the whole Wall Tax road, where the hotel is, is covered with other hotels and plenty of restaurants, it would be quite an achievement to come across a foreigner as most of the hotels around do not hold a licence to accommodate foreigners. That is also why you would not find a toilet paper in the nearby stalls and shops, instead they offer you newspaper or simply smile. If this does not bother you, then Wall Tax road is really special if you want to experience more authentic India – eating in restaurants with no other people, but Indians. By the way there is one nice restaurant just a minute from the hotel, called Shiva Shagar. You cannot miss it as the illuminated advert can be seen from miles away.

Very good hotel, next to MGR central railway station very spacious room. Tiny bathroom,less open to ventilation and sunlight. Breakfast was good and service was good. Hot water was not available at early morning.

The Hotel room has no ventilation. The room and toilets are dirty. It is worth spending few more bucks and try a better hotel. Not advisable to stay with family. The only advantage is that it is 5m from Central station

I have been started here on and off for past 2 years on my business tours. Location is good, but that is the only good thing about this place near Central station . Staff specially MR SANDEEP is a rude and unprofessional manager across the counter. The food is just average and owner also doesn't accept mistakes and take them in right spirit . Give it a miss completely . I had cockroaches in room 105 I checked in last time .

Hotel people taken full money in advance. After enetring the room no signal on mobile. They say after that in very cool ,thier hotel mobile signal wont come.. I shouted but no use..they dont refund

Plus points.. Walkable to Chennai Central, with plenty of food options to choose near by. Decent hotel with all amenities. Room is very small to stay with family. Overall good experience with limited breakfast.

The room was good with all the basic amenities. But, to make the rooms more attractive, proper cleanliness is required. In my room, the sofa looks very dull and some of the bath fittings are old. The location is just around 500 metres from the chennai central railway station. The breakfast provided by the hotel is very good.
