hello there my visit to Chennai made a remarkable impression as I had a wonderful stay at crescent inn. staffs over there were excellent, humble service secured place I had no Idea about chennai Front Office people really helped me out by arranging a cab to my office. Crescent homes have location advantage since being ECR in chennai (which leads to pondichery), it is easily accessible from chennai central station ( approx 18 km ) and airport (approx 20 km).
The facilities are very basic and nothing like a service apartment with the charges that it has should provide.
Although if you are lucky you might get a road facing room else most of its rooms are building faced and do not have a great view.
Room service is average and food is below average.
Any requirement takes many hours to get met. Its better that one calls for food from outside or goes out to have it. Dont bother ordering from room firstly it substandard and on top of it takes hell of along time to reach you.
Its better to book service apartment with velacity (see my review on the same). It has same charges but provides much better services and facillites.

We stayed here on our visit to Chennai to celebrate our daughter's wedding reception. We had a most comfortable stay at this service apartment for 2 weeks in December 2013. The staff were most obliging, honest, pleasant and hospitable. We also had a little party which was catered by them. The food was very good and the dining room staff provided very good service. We would definitely be very happy to stay there again. Our friends and family also stayed there while we were there and were all impressed with the service. The breakfast was good and room service was brilliant. Would recommend the place to anyone. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay most comfortable and enjoyable.

Recently I stayed in CrescentInn in Chennai in connection of marriage of my daughter. In the month of September 2013 I was staying in another hotel in Chennai. I wanted to make stay arrangements for 30-40 members who were coming to Chennai to attend the wedding ceremony of my daughter later in December. It was a tough task for me as I am from Mumbai and coming to Chennai and doing all these things. In the month of September I along with my family members we searched many hotels in different locations in Chennai but were not satisfied. Finally my daughter (who was to get married) suggested CrescentInn Chennai (because once 2-3 years back she stayed in the same hotel in connection with some training programme of her company). We visited the hotel. The employees posted there explained us each and everything and nicely replied all of our queries. We were so impressed with the behavior and the dealing of the employees that we were confused whether they are the hotel employees or our family members. Rooms are spacious with lobby and balcony, neat and clean, reasonable tariffs, LED TVs in all the room, free wi-fi connections inside the rooms. Seeing all these things we decided to choose this hotel.
Now the real time came…December …marriage of my daughter. We started checking in from 18th December 2013 onwards. Our guests were from New Delhi, Bangaluru, Dehradun Hyderabad, Mumbai and some other places with some kinds also. The stay and food arrangement was so pleasant and comfortable that our guests were on phone calls with their friends on the other end and explaining the arrangements made in the hotel…here I would like to narrate one small incident. On the night of 21st December one of our guest asked me…Naresh, tomorrow morning we have to leave hotel at 4.00 AM is it possible to make arrangements for tea for us at 3-3.30 AM on 22nd I said no it is not possible. One of the employees (I think he was listening the conversation) said…yes…yes why not…I will make the tea and provide. And it was done. What a wonderful service….!!!!
Being parents of a daughter and performing the marriage in a new city was a matter of worry for us. But the hotel employees shared one of the biggest responsibilities of boarding and lodging facilities to our guests on our behalf in a homely atmosphere and friendly manner. We have no words of appreciation. Even ‘thanks’ is so little which we have offered (ofcourse in addition of charges) for this great job and service.
And I would like to mention here…the service, hotel provided 2-3 years back to my daughter was remembered by her and she recommended the same place for her own marriage. Once again we are thankful to all the employees of CrescentInn, Chennai right from the reception at bottom and catering at top.
And finally we have no hesitation of recommending this hotel to the persons not only for stay but also for gathering like marriage etc. This review being posted me, my family members and all the guests who stayed with us for the ceremony.

The facility is in dense residential area not easy to reach.The standard room(A3) prices are high as per the condition of room.The power switches does not work, exhaust fan does not have switch and does not work.Guests are not allowed to smoke cigarette in room.Food available @ 100 rs per meal is what prepared by the serving Nepalis for themselves.This place is not recommended and not real value for your money.

It was my stay with my family at LEPARK INN Chennai. Had a nice and pleasant stay for 3 days. Service was good and appreciable & Buffet breakfast is very good.They do room-service and the quality of food is good.

Stayed here for just a night. Conveniently located - on the main road with easy access (by public or private transport) to nearby shopping, eateries, the beach and more. Clean & spacious, the hotel itself affords a comfortable stay. For us, it was primarily a stopover on the way to Pondicherry and we didn't want to spend too much money on a fancy hotel for just the night... and Crescent Inn worked out to be the perfect choice. The rooms are decent, with a TV, wardrobe, AC (window), work table & chairs, single beds etc. The bathroom is very clean and they do provide basic toiletries too. Essentially this is a set of apartments inside a good complex.
The service is good... though there was some initial confusion on the billing amount (we had negotiated a specific rate on the phone while booking and they billed us a bit higher) but that got sorted out very quickly. They have breakfast included - there's a dining room on one of the floors where you get basic South Indian fare - nothing very great.
Couple of issues we faced - there is a mosque right next door so in spite of the AC, ended up being woken early morning to the sound of the prayers on the microphone. Also, there was a power cut for some time and the AC didn't work at that time. But then all in all it was satisfactory for our purpose & the price.

It was my first visit to Chennai and like several other reviewers for my daughter's wedding reception.Her would-be in-laws chose this place for our five day sojourn.It is close to their residence and they had previously booked rooms here for their daughter's wedding reception.We got three rooms on the first floor.There was a common sitting area with a dining table and refrigerator for our exclusive use.I particularly appreciated this idea.There is a More supermarket store on the ground floor for forgotten things of daily need.Ahead there is an adequately stocked fruit and vegetable store.Then there is Food Inn,a vegetarian restaurant where we ate several times due to its proximity from our room.The morning breakfast is ideal for tourists who usually spend the day out.We could savour the stuff on offer on four days and the menu kept changing.Morning coffee which could be had in the room was another high point.The staff is nice and courteous.All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

Let me correct you first. its not a Hotel, its a Service Apartment. Secondly there is no restaurant available in hotel premises. You order from menu and they will bring it from some hotel which will be in Adyar.

Happy to inform you that all 52 rooms are double A/c rooms and as per requirement accommodation is provided single or double occupancy.
15 people in normal requires 6 double rooms and 1 triple occupancy. The total cost per day is Rs.18276-00 - special discount @10% Rs.1570-00 = Rs.16706-00 per day net and buffet breakfast and wifi is complimentary.
