Detailed Reviews
lWe had a wonderful stay at 28 Kothi, the team of people who work there are really fantastic and made the stay for us. Having the organic cafe next door was convenient; they serve great food, yummy juices, and tea- they will even do room service! The location is perfect and near many sites while being away from the fray. I felt the hotel offered exceptional value without skimping on details and personal touches. I highly recommend staying here!

Beautifully designed and decorates, unique place to stay. In easy reach of the old town, but in a good and safe neighborhood. Nice change from soul-less hotels!
We also had a great dinner (available upon advance request), but were disappointed by having two incredibly expensive bottles of water on the bill (1/5 of the price of the full thali we ate!) that we didn't order...

Hi Natalie Hope you're well. Thank you for your kind review. Our sincere apologies regarding the mineral water situation. It is our protocol to check with guests before serving them bottled water. I am sorry that this was not followed. We will make sure that it is discussed in the weekly team review to make sure that a situation like this doesn't occur again. We hope this won't hamper your decision to come back and stay with us. We look forward to hosting you again at 28 Kothi. Have a great day.

+1
Tastefully done with minimalist design, 28 Kothi has a feeling of light, airy openness. The room we stayed in (Topaz) is tastefully done with a lovely palm tree painted on the cupboard. The bathroom is spotless with wall to wall marble. The toiletries are luxurious. Though, for some reason, the toiletries in the shower area are stacked about 6 feet high. The room has a small sit out that would be wonderful to hang out in the evening over a drink in nice weather. Unfortunately, we did not use it much as it was wet and humid most evenings. The room could do with another chair and some space to put things on. Our room did not come with a tea service tray (only suites get it, I suspect because they have more space), but it was provided on request without fuss. The staff is discreet, friendly and very courteous. A shout out to Rakhi and Deepchnad for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming. Last but not least, the Chef in the kitchen knows what he is doing. The all-vegetarian menu is out together with a lot of thought, and the food is sumptuous. Loved the Khao Suey and the Marinara Pasta dish. Do try the tea blends especially the OM Blend. Ooh and the Chilli Cheese Baguette.

Really glad I found 28 Kothi and made it our base from which to explore Jaipur. We came from a hotel that was completely unheated so stepping into the warm and stylish lobby and room was just heavenly.
The food is consistently good and it was just so nice to savour the food without fearing getting sick from it.
If I had to nitpick, I would say the towels are a bit lacking. Not quite absorbent, not big enough and weren’t changed the next day.
I have to give credit to Niharika for being very helpful before and during our stay, she’s a real asset to 28 Kothi!
Overall I really looked forward to returning to it at the end of a day out.

My partner and I were absolutely blown away by the charm of 28 Kothi. Everything has been thought out meticulously, from the beautiful interiors in the library to the incredible garden where we enjoyed meals. It feels like a true oasis of calm and I could have happily stayed for weeks!
Part of what makes this place so special is the people: each and every member of staff was so kind, friendly and helpful. The team welcome you so warmly that you feel like you’re truly at home here- none of the stuffiness you might get at other hotels.
The food here is another firm highlight. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the garden on our final night and would thoroughly recommend doing this: amazing Thali by candlelight. I have a food allergy and this was catered for incredibly well- the chef even came to speak to me personally about my dietary requirements.
Rooms are beautiful, tasteful and extremely comfortable, with lovely toiletries in the shower too.
Please don’t miss this exceptional gem in Jaipur!!!!

We stayed for one night and probably the hands-down one of the most thoughtfully created places we have been to in recent times. From the bedroom to bathroom to cafe to the library and the porch area, the whole place invites you to spend time there. From the moment we got there till the moment we left we were welcomed by some of the most beautiful fragrances. Rakhi and the rest of the staff were on point with everything. We took the Rajsthani dinner and unbeknownst to us, they turned into a beautiful candlelight dinner with fresh flowers and really really delicious food. If I didn't have to leave due to some personal reason, I would have easily spent another week there and happily spent my days inside drinking delicious coffee from the cafe.
All in all really great experience albeit a short one.

28 Kothi is my most favourite boutique hotel in Jaipur! As a female creative designer who often travels alone it is the most perfect & safe place to stay. The staff are so friendly and helpful they have now become friends. It is a very calm place to stay with a beautiful garden that you can sit in and hear the lovely noises of the birds and quiet hum drum of the city. You also meet other creatives, travellers there so you never feel lonely and can eat in the garden in a communal area. I highly recommend it and cant wait for my next stay x

We have stayed a couple times at 28 Kothi. The food is delicious and the rooms are comfortable with firm Indian mattresses which i love. Everything is really elegant, minimal, and thoughtful. We can not wait to come back!

28Kothi was an absolute oasis and I could not believe how affordable this beauty was. Even better, they have rooms dedicated for solo travelers, making this even more cost effective.
As a solo female traveler in my mid-thirties, I’m really not interested in the hostel life anymore. I want somewhere calm, peaceful and relaxing to come back to. I want somewhere with excellent service and safety being a top priority.
I was absolutely blown away with the experience I had at 28kothi and cannot recommend them enough.
During my stay here, I took advantage of the onsite yoga, the special thali dinner (where they decorated the entire garden for me and made one of the best dinners I had in all of India) and devoured the incredible breakfast every morning (that was included!)
I stayed in the beautiful Peridot room, which was a room specifically for solo travelers. I honestly couldn't believe how affordable this hotel was and the level and quality of service. It was worth every rupee :)

Highly recommend this design gem in Jaipur. The attention to detail to the food, serve ware, decor, service, products are exemplary. Hot showers with good water pressure and a comfortable bed is hard to find in India at any price point so it was a welcome surprise. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with several requests we had. Just a delightful stay.
