My husband and I stayed two nights. The ladies at the reception are super sweet, spoke English very fluently. We were very pleased with our room (403). We enjoyed the sun rise and set over the stunning ocean view from our balcony. We did have a problem getting the balcony door open but staff showed up very quickly to get it opened for us. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was given the street activity and neighborhood rooster. I’m a light sleeper and never heard a sound. All around lovely place and staff.

This is a lovely hotel, well situated near all the amenities but with the benefit of noise at night: The rooms are well appointed and immaculately clean with very comfortable beds. The staff really make it though, they are all really friendly and helpful and speak English. They offer an excellent breakfast selection at their restaurant, Buena Vista. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, our friends at alternative accommodation regret not booking the Palma Royale!

We decided to pay the premium and book Palma Royals specifically for the ocean view advertised. Unfortunately the room provided was falsely advertised and the view from the bedroom does not even face the ocean. The living room has a view of about 80% tin roof and maybe 5% of the ocean if you peek through a couple buildings. We inquired about this to the staff members but it seems the room “advertised” was unavailable. I feel unjust paying the premium when there are much cheaper alternatives without an ocean view.

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They all speak English too. Breakfast is included and you have a choice of different items off the menu at the Buena Vista Restaurant. The hotel is situated on the main road so the shops, restaurants and bars are easy to walk to but it is not right next to the loud clubs so you are able to sleep at night. The beds are very comfortable and rooms are modern with nice outside patios and decks with views of the sea. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay for a week and recommend this hotel.

If you are looking for a place in Bocas to stay, relax and restore, this is the place. The hotel is located on Main Street and is convenient to wonderful restaurants and water taxis. Breakfast is included. The restaurant is Buena Vista. It overlooks the water. The hotel has an accommodating staff. The mattress and pillows are so comfortable! You won’t regret staying here.

The receptionist at the front desk was so friendly, welcoming & accommodating. The suite was excellent with a great view of the bay & main street. A definite YES I would stay & recommend anyone stay if they visit Bocas del Toro. This is one of the best hotels in Bocas Town.

From the time I reserved till we checked out after a 4 night stay, All staff was amazing, front desk, bar, cleaning staff, security! Very friendly spot. Breakfast was included and was served at a restaurant about a 3 minute walk away. Very good food! It’s a busy little town with a little bit of fun noise but when you close your door it’s quiet. A stay at Hotel Palma Royal is always a top notch experience. The rooms are beautifully appointed, very comfortable and are next level clean. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Hands down my favourite place to escape on "staycation" in Bocas Town. Already looking forward to my next stay!

I had the pleasure of using the Hotel Palma Royal penthouse suite in October of 2021. It's an amazing 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom space with all of the amenities you might need for your stay in Bocas Town. There is even a terrace with ocean views from multiple angels. My meeting went really well -- the Internet was great for a Zoom call and the desk was the perfect place for me to facilitate the session. I have stayed at multiple Bocas Town hotels and this was definitely among the very best.
