Very friendly family run guesthouse with clean, modern rooms with private gardens in the jungle. You can sit on your veranda and watch the monkeys playing in the trees. Lovely fresh fruit and pancakes for breakfast. Very clean ensuite bathroom.
Nice place but very tired. Owners are really lovely people. Room was large. Bed was very comfortable. With good facilities in the room and a lovely balcony with comfy furniture Unfortunately the shower was cold and the Wi-Fi was not great. Breakfast was good
Impeccable hospitality by the hosts who are lovely elderly couple with grown up and professionally successful children. They treated us like family members; served us pot of hot tea as welcome drinks; prepared sumptuous daily breakfast for us; get our room readily cleaned with fan and lights on when we returned from our day tour; offered free laundry service during our 2 nights stay since it was in time to dry the laundry; and even gave us box of chocolate cookies as gift upon check-out. The hotel is very resort feel with lush garden and huge paddy fields nearby; walking distance (5-10 mins) to eateries at Main Street of Dambulla; spacious room with private garden, large bed and bathroom equipped with necessary toiletries and drinking water. We had absolutely unforgettable stay with their warmth personality and kind gestures. Super good value for money for the hospitality and comfortable stay. They provide driver/ tour service too, but we already have our own driver prior to the stay. Highly recommended for anyone plan to visit Sirigiya and Polonnaruwa historical sites since both are accessible by driver service from Dambulla. …
We stayed 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Lovely rooms and garden, amazing breakfast and the best hosts. Susa drove us around and was our guide. He is a great driver and his local knowledge is brilliant.
Very spacious rooms with all the mod cons. It's best situated for visiting Dammbulla cave temples and Sigariya. Situated right next to all the lush rice fields. Loved the sunset views from the Balcony. The hostess is really kind and generous. Best of all is Susa who provides the taxi service at/from the hotel. 80% of all our drives in SrLanka were sorted out by Susa. Very safe and reliable driver and our guide while in Sri Lanka. And his rates are much better than tourist companies or Uber. He even sorted out taxi for us when we were stuck in Nuwara Eliya. Message him if you need a taxi service while in Sri Lanka. +94777682023 Thanks Susa.
Extremely clean and equipped room, with a garden and nice balcony. Great reward for the price!! Lovely & amazing owner, versatile authenthic delicious breakfast. Rooms has everything! Enough towels, first aid box, mosquito net, privacy. Was pleasure, will sure come back again.
We stayed two nights and can highly recommend the Dambulla Rock Arch. The family was so helpful and friendly - never experienced such a warm hearted hospitality in a hotel before in my life. Room was clean and breakfast was delicious. The family organized everything for us. Starting from watching the sunrise at Pindurangala, going to Polonnaruwa or just supporting us getting train tickets. Special thanks to our Sri Lankan Mom and Susa who was our driver. Best regards Mona & Michael
When we arrived it was getting dark but we were offered tea by the owner. As time was moving on we asked for recommendations as to where to go for dinner and the lady of the house gave us the names of a couple of places nearby to choose from. Our room was large and had its own little private courtyard garden on one side of. It and you could sit outside on the front terrace on lounge chairs and relish the peace and quiet. Although not far from a busy road this place was so quiet I was shocked. Lovely big shower. The breakfast the next morning was plentiful with local produce, you couldn’t have asked for more. On our departure the lady of the house gave me some biscuits in case we got hungry on our journey to Kandy, so kind of her.
This was a great accommodation, with the most friendliest people ever. We arrived late due to delays, and when we reached she greeted us with tea. The place looks amazing in the morning, and the rooms are clean, with everything provided on request. Istuti Ama! 🌟❤️
The family that runs this place are some of the nicest people you will meet in Sri Lanka. They are extremely helpful. The location is fabulous - a few minutes walk to the main road where you can find transport to all parts of the country, as well as all kinds of shops. Breakfast was authentic, generous and tasty. We would love to go back.
