Golden Rainbow is surrounded by the most beautiful nature and bird songs, with lovely rooms, including A/C and many personal touches to all. The host is remarkable and helpful in all respects, able to assist with questions and whatever is needed. The distance from Golden Rainbow to the Dambulla Caves, a short walk. Best place in Dabulla!

The tree house was very well maintained. Food and services were honestly priced. Good location. Near to cave temple. Wifi could have been better. In Summer it might get hot as the fans are placed away from the beds. Hope to visit in future again.

Kumara is a great host. Very friendly and honest. We were taken care of and the food was delicious and in big quantities (both breakfast and dinner)! They even arranged motorbike rental with good advice on where to go and what to see. And they also arranged a tuk tuk back to the station for us. We had a double room with a comfortable bed with mouskito-net and hot shower. Great stay, would definitely go again and can certainly recommend!

The stay here was lovely, with very friendly and helpful staff. Especially the tree house is perfect, although the simple room was nice as well. We had both. The tree house has much more style, but he regular room had airco. All in all a very nice place

I had the wooden cabin. Really beautiful, 2 beds both with musquito nets. Very good hot shower. Nice owner who will help you if necessary. Arranged tuktuk driver to Pidurangela for me, picked me up exactly at the correct time! Sri Lankan breakfast fine as well.

My first ever international trip of 8days to Srilanka began on a good note with our first stop being at Dambulla and I am glad we chose to stay at this guest house. Our host Mr. Kumar was warm and welcoming, he made sure we were comfortable. Our room part of the hosts bungalow was super cozy and comfortable with basic amenities available and most important a clean bathroom. There is a separate structure opposite the house where meals are served by the host. We had some amazing hoppers with sambhol and fresh fruits served by the host. Overall we had an amazing experience. Also the house is closely located to the Dambulla caves.

Very friendly owner and staff. The rooms are simple but always clean and include moskito nets. The owner picked us up from the bus stop free of cost and helped us to plan our trip to Sigiriya. We can only recommend this accomodation as it is also located really close to the cave temple.

When we made our booking we didn't realize we had booked the tree house so we were quite surprised. In some ways the tree house was fabulous but I need to point out it has no air con. I guess one would not expect air con in a tree house really anyway but there was a fan. There are nets over the two king size beds which are necessary because you need to leave the windows open a little at night. Because it is a tree house you have to expect to be a bit closer to nature than some folk might like, i.e. there are ants and a few mosquitoes. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent too. Overall it was a great experience being in a tree house.

Having just fled Colombo due to the chaos and horror going on there due to the bombings, we were desperately looking for a place to relax. This guesthouse proved to be the perfect place to do just that. We were received warmly with fresh fruit and a chat (monkeys even made an appearance!) and despite being early our room was ready. The room is clean, cozy and has A/C. With the ambient sounds of the jungle to lull us to sleep, we slept perfectly. The owner is very kind and helpful and arranged tuc-tuc rides and a safari/tour to the Lion rock for us. The breakfast is another big plus: fresh fruits and delicacies of Sri Lanka makes for a good beginning of your day. Moreover, the guesthouse is a short walk away from the cave temple, which is definitely worth a visit. I would very much recommend anyone visiting Dambulla a stay in this sweet place.

Everything was perfect! Kumara and his Lovely family made us feel like we were at home. They even invited eating with them for Sri-Lankan New Year. Kumara helps you arrange everything and The Guest House Is only 5 minutes walk from the Cave and Golden temples. Higly recommended
