We first contacted them through their published mobile number but the owner is not responsive. Conveniently, the lodge is also listed in Agoda. This is located overlooking Echo Valley near Sagada Hub and Sumaguing cave. Along the way, you will pass by Yoghurt House, Lemon Pie House, and Sagada Brew. The room is spacious and clean with hot and cold shower. Towels are provided, though there are no toiletries. No available breakfast but you can cook in their kitchen, just clean afterwards. There is also a nearby bakery selling wheat breads. For the price, this is quite a steal.
We stayed here for 1 nigh only, but we'll extend it next time. Super clean private room wirh a balcony with a nice view of the valey. Friendly staff, they also arrange all the tours (which are the same price everywhere). Only downside is it's 15' walk downhill from the tourist office.
I went in Sagada with my best friend and we stayed at Kanip-Aw Pines View Lodge. I recommend this place for those who's looking for an affordable, clean, and peaceful place to sleep in Sagada. It's quite far from the busy main street and may take 10-20 minutes of uphill/downhill walk. Staff are friendly and the amenities are basic. They have a kitchen you can use too. They also assist in local tours and transportation. The view from their room balcony is fantastic.
After i arrived to sagada coming from bargio ( 6 hours ) i start looking for hotel. going down the main road there is a lot of hotels with prices 300 to 500P per parson, this one is a way from street so u dont hear the sound of dogs and the tricycle, the view is nice. hot water available all the time for free but i wish they do breakfast on the hotel,
Homey yet having that feeling you're in a vacation. You can cook your own food. And Kuya Oscar (Caretaker) is so nice. We enjoyed talking to him with different topics. We also acknowledge Kuya Erik (the tour guide prepared and given by Kanip-Aw😂) for being our best photographer and so informative yet jolly one.
