The rooms are a nice size, the ones on the 4th floor with a sea view are very good. The staff are very friendly and the cleaning is superb. Good location near the beach, but the beach is rocky there and not suitable for swimming. If you have transport there are lots of options for food and drink. The hotel has a nice bar near the road. The breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast, nothing special. I have lived in hotels in Vietnam for the last year, this is a good hotel, good value and I would stay there again.

Me and my husband stayed here for 2 nights and were very impressed. Our room was very modern, clean and comfortable. Fresh fruit was left each day the only downside was that our balcony was shaded by trees. The swimming pool was nice and the surroundings were relaxing, however the pool itself was very cold & the water had too much chlorine in, the swim up bar was a little disappointing as it was not fully stocked and looked in need of a revamp, however we were just pleased at having this facility. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and had a good choice. The hotel restaurant itself we found to be quite expensive but the food was good. Joined on to the hotel is the seaside cafe which was very good for food and drinks. Our next stop after Vung Tau was Mui Ne and we struggled to find any transport agencies to help us with our travel in Vung Tau so we asked the hotel and were pleasantly surprised when they showed us there private car options, this cost us $90 and took us 4 hours which was much better than what we had anticipated. The driver was very professional and took us along the coastal road which was very scenic.

I booked this resort for family trip with my baby. It's a nice, clean, private resort but when we came all the valuable facilities do not work. I booked Premium Deluxe Room (near top room type) but NO wood floor, NO bath tube so my 12-months-baby-girl had to hold the wall for bathing. The weather was not good (rains whole first day) but the swimming pool is maintained for 3 days. Such an uncomfortable trip with spending $60/day for this room type!
My advice: do not believe any booking websites (including Agoda, Booking...), all beautiful images they take from the best room type. If wanna book any hotel/resort, it's better to phone directly to them for checking all facilities.

Pros: clean & private resort, friendly staff, good free breakfast, clean room, free soft drink, coffee and some fruit
Cons: far from beach, swimming pool not work, no bath tube for baby.

On a field trip for my school, we were unlucky enough to book into this hotel. In several of the rooms there was no hot water in the 4 days we stayed. The reception staff only said that they were going to check the problem. The hotel is old, but above all very dirty and without maintenance. Food is not bad, but breakfast was the same every day and lunch and dinner the same with minimal variations. The restaurant staff are attentive and helpful

Air conditioning in common areas is off. The beds are old and you can feel the springs. You can see that some areas of the hotel have been closed for a long time because they serve as a warehouse, as well as being extremely dirty.

This hotel was probably a 4 star years ago, but currently in its current condition it is barely two or three.

The pool is the best thing about this hotel. It is large, clean and set among a very nice garden.
But let's start from the beginning. Check in was uneventful and straightforward. No welcome drinks and I was ok with that as the lobby area looked like a furniture store that was overstocked.
The setting on the way to the room was peacefull and we'll manicured with lots of grounds keepers working busily.
I read the reviews in here regarding the rooms and well, the ones that mentioned "Tired", and "Worn out", were spot on. The room was large and comfortable, but also had several areas in it that made you kind of feel like hanging a towel over it so you need not look at it.
A big problem I had was that there were ants on the bed when I arrived and sat on it. Hours later when I pushed the two beds together (so my 5 yr old son could lay between us and not fall off), I found a good 2~3 week layer of dust/dirt, food pieces and lots of hair on the floor, and realized why the ants were there. I had to get a wet towel and clean it up~disgusting.
Plus side, free in room internet, good selection of cable channels and small private balconys with pleasant views.

Also, don't be fooled by the use of the term breakfast buffet on their web page, in fact it doesn't even do justice to the term continental breakfast. I can truthfully say it was the worst breakfast selection I've encountered in all my travels through Asia. There were few items to choose from and those items were not even worth getting up early for. I ended up having three pieces of buttered white toast and a glass of warm milk~ huge dissapointment.
Also be warned, the hotel turns into a party place on the weekends with loud music and noise so bring earplugs or a soundmachine.
On the plus side, the hotel is situated in a cool area with many nice restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Stayed for 6 nights in January 2012. Hotel has only been in operation for 18 months. Room was clean and modern, bed comfortable, plenty of hot water. Hotel grounds are well maintained and pool area is great with swim up bar and kids pool. Location is on front beach and walking distance to Ganh Hao seafood restaurant or cable car station. Hotel has a large cafe out front which served up good breakfast and snacks. Didn't eat in hotel restaurant as many many other options.

Hotel seems to cater to locals who head to Vung Tau on the weekend - very quiet during weekdays. As a result not many staff have an understanding of english, whilst this can be an issue at times to get an order right we didn't think it was a major problem - staff always tried their best and so did we to bridge the communication gap.

We checked out many of the other hotels on both front and back beach whist walking around Vung Tau and I think Seaside is great value for money and very clean and tidy.

I am trying to book 2 rooms at the resort on the 31st July as they have a deal going on at the moment. However, it was so difficuly to get hold of the reservation team. After at least 10 phone calls, I finally spoke to a lady in the booking team who said they could take bookings for the days I wanted. She asked me to email her and she will send the confirmation back to me right away. Yet, the only thing I got after waiting for ages was the same promise to email me back the confirmation and to call me back!!! When I called them back just now the receptionist asked me to call the sales team in Saigon instead!?! I went ahead to call the number he gave me but the person on the phone said I would need to call the resort!!!!? This is very unorganised and so confusing Seaside Resort!!! Please please look at your reservation team service! This is very disappointing for a resort to treat its customers like this!

We stayed at the resort for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. We booked a premium deluxe twin room with seaside view. Nice size room with queen sized bed and a large single bed, bathroom nice with a large shower area that we could fit the family in and strong water pressure. The breakfast buffet was more than substantial, mostly Vietnamese but enough western options available. We had dinner twice at the resorts restaurant, reasonably priced and generous portions. Staff were friendly and pleasant. The pool was great with a small kids pool and large main pool. WiFi a little slow at certain parts of the day, when we called reception they sent a router to the room to boost the signal.
Would not say a 4 star resort, but very reasonably priced. Maintenance could be better as some areas are starting to look run down.
Overall a satisfied family happy and would return

My hotel room was quite comfortable. Very basic furnishings. The walk up from the main road is very steep and lengthy. That is my primary complaint. I did not realize this when I made my reservation. The staff is very friendly, but very few spoke English, which doesnt matter unless you are an English speaking tourist. The food in the breakfast buffet was very average. The highlight to me was the large and very relaxing swimming pool. Plus, there is a very nice coffee shop in front of the hotel along the main road with a wide variety of drinks and menu items.
