Found this hidden gem on our last night of a 3 night stay in Vung Tau. The staff are so friendly with nothing too much trouble for them. The room was superb. If you want peace and tranquility, this is your place. They even arranged transport to our ferry to HCM free of charge!

This was our second visit and both were memorable. Great location with views over the city, excellent, friendly, and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and very tastefully presented. Loved the private outdoor jacuzzi, as part of the Garden Suite. We will be back again, thank you.

A lovely peaceful hotel. Nice clean pool. Beautiful huge rooms. Friendly helpful staff who were very efficient at booking our boat tickets back to HCMC. Now for the negatives: the free shuttle transport was one of the things that attracted me to stay at this hotel and on arrival we discovered that it was just a mini truck where passengers had to sit in the open air back. No seat belts and not safe at all to travel in this manner. Therefore we ended up getting Ubers and walking up the steep hotel steps. Breakfast was disappointing on 3/4 days. There appeared to be only one person working the breakfast those days and although there was only 2 or 3 others having breakfast at the same time they constantly ran out of milk, muesli, fruit etc. The lady would refill the teeny tiny little jug of milk and then 10 minutes later would have to ask again. Same for some of the other breakfast products. Couldn’t find any water either.

Ros, we appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoyed our hotel's tranquility and amenities. I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment with the free shuttle - in all of our years we've not received a complaint yet, but since it's free there's no loss to choosing another method of transportation :). Regarding breakfast, we are proud of offering only the freshest food so purposely only put out what you'll use (with unlimited free refills) to ensure your food-safety at all times. Thank you for visiting, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a better experience next time! Regards, Jay (Owner)

Very friendly hard working staff. Nice room. Nice view. Nice vibe. Good breakfast. Good to have the swimming pool on hot days. Good deal on spa (50% off). It feels like the staff cares about the business as their own.

reception friends always smiled and guided us and responded, even the shuttle bus driver was very kind also the cleaning was perfect. However, as you know, the door of villa 1 was a little difficult to lock and open, and the air conditioner was less cool due to its small capacity compared to the size of the room. It was only those two things that weren't perfect. anyway, my vacation was the best! thank you~ the kindest hotel in Vietnam

Three nights at the Wind. Nice rooms , comfortable beds and cold aircon. Couple of Aussie bars around if that’s your thing. Cleaners like to start early and blare their music so you won’t be doing much sleeping in. Extra special thanks to the two young ladies in reception. Very good English , all smiles and couldn’t do enough to help. One thing to be aware of though. This place is on the top of a very steep hill. The walk up and the steep stairs takes its toll. Especially when you’ve been out drinking $1 beers lol.

Shane, it's great to hear you enjoyed your stay with us, especially the comfort of our rooms and the hospitality of our reception staff. We'll look into the early morning noise from our cleaning team to ensure our guests can enjoy a peaceful sleep-in. The steep hill adds character to our location, but we understand it can be challenging after enjoying the local $1 beers! We hope to welcome you back soon. Cheers, Jay (Owner)

We've been to Vung Tau many times but never knew about The Wind Boutique Hotel. I'm not a snob, but i like to stay at 5-star hotels and resorts. The photo of the water slide for the kids got me clicking around their website, and we decided to give it a try since our old favorite seems to be a bit run-down after covid (the only 5 start beachside hotel in VT but maybe dipping to 4 stars now). anyway, the hotel gives a sense of being far from the city as its sprawls along a hillside with flowing waterfalls, lush trees and flowering plant life everywhere, and a meandering path from the spa to the reception area through the pool area looked and felt like a journey of tropic discovery. we loved it! the staff really care about the customers and their beautiful hotel. Try it out - my family and i will stay here again and again.

The hotel is the first and the most relaxing experience I've had in Vung Tau Vietnam. The hotel GM Thong is a hospitable and caring lady and her staff also makes you feel like you are living in a friend and family house for vacation. The best experience I had with this hotel is the human touch. The staff is genuine and kind, especially the front office receptionists. They are attentive and sincere in catering to all your requests and exploring interests in this beautiful and developing city. The hotel has a lot of details that pay attention to guests' personal experiences. Like Massage, Sauna, Steam, Swimming pool, breakfast, and so on, they are not fancy but they are clean and full of surprises. If you are looking for a retreat and a tranquil vacation, this place definitely is the best choice in town for families and couples.
