After many years, you will forget the poor service here, actually you might forget it very soon. But the astonishing view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain will remain forever! The blue sky, while clouds and splendid flower blossom during splendid are just fantastic.

Beautiful rooms, absolutely lovely grounds, comfortable, good service. Bar is spectacular. Restaurant Rey Good. Highly recommend, but go when it is warm. The hotel has put in portable heaters in the dining room, but March was a little too early.

We went to Lijiang last month and find it bit chilly to stay out after sunset. We had our usual dinner at the restaurant trying out the local Yunnan and Naxi delicacies. Banyan Tree served a fine course of dinner and you could also try the hot pot in this season.
I did not try the moonlight pagoda dinner then. You may want to bring some warm clothing to put on in the mornings and evenings.
