First and foremost, the hotel has a website that provides online chatroom, giving us all the info we need regarding Huangshan: weather, transportation, lodging (both foothill and mountain peak), and route map. Secondly, they suggest routes to suit our needs and capabilities. Next, they never ask for any deposit, just a word of trust, scout's honour. In addition, when we arrived, the employees were really warm and friendly, eager to assist us. The boss, Mr Cheng, though wheelchair bound, is an energetic and frank guy. The food was decent and cheap, RMB 5 for breakfast, RMB 30-40 for lunch/dinner. The room with all amenities, only cost us RMB 100 per night. Though the hotel is small, it is equipped with a lift.
