We had to leave as the motel room we were given out back of the lodge ($185) was very inferior. Beds were uncomfortable. Everything cheap. They did refund our two nights, unsmilingly. I’m sure the experience would’ve been way better if in lodge or a cabin. Pretty crackling fireplace in lobby.

Don't be fooled by the exterior, the interior is newly updated and very clean. It's a bit expensive but on par for the area. I'd definitely stay here again. The attached steakhouse was fantastic and convenient. For anyone looking at the pics I attached this is room 120. **If management reads this, please add curtains to the rooms as the highway traffic does shine in the windows.

Although this hotel appears "older" on the outside, the room we had was nicely remodeled and clean. A very pleasant stay!! The restaurant is EXCELLENT! Highly recommended for dinner! Internet in our room was a bit weak (Wi-Fi). Television was excellent with HBO and many other premium channels included. Verizon cellular service was fine.

The pics below tell some of the story. The riverside 2nd floor room we rented wasn't clean and certainly not worth $175 ($192.50 incl taxes). Toilet was dirty, bed had been sat on though the sheets were clean, furniture and carpet had seen better days. We checked in at 9:30 and by the time we got to room to discover front desk was closed for night. Next day, when we told front desk they nicely said sorrybut didnt offer to discount the night. Breakfast was coffee, 12 bagels, some bread, cereal, oatmeal, 2 small bottles of milk for a sold out hotel. When we asked for another milk weretold all they had was out there. I do not recommend.

We stayed at the Flying Saddle for 2 nights. We didn't get to enjoy the property, as we were busy in the Tetons & Jackson. The facilities are clean and we enjoyed the room. We ate at the restaurant on Thursday night and the meal was excellent. I recommend the Flying Saddle.

Jeremy at check-in was awesome! Really appreciated his customer service. I gave three stars because this is pretty much a very expensive motel. You are paying for proximity to Jackson. Website makes the resort look a little nicer than it actually is, but room was clean and comfortable. Cabins and rooms aren’t directly on river.

Overall a convenient stay in spite of a huge mix up at check-in. We had confirmed a king room with a walk-in shower away from the highway with great view. At check-in we verified that our assigned room #115 met those criteria. BUT #115 did not - no walk in shower. Returned to office and given key for #121 BUT key did not work. Returned to office and given new key. It worked, there was a walk-in shower BUT located next to the busy highway. Managed to deal with road noise and lack of view promised. BUT a disappointing intro to hotel and a less than anticipated stay.

My family stayed here the three nights. We had a small dog with us. The staff was super nice, the room was perfectly sized for 4 adults. We ate at the restaurant twice during our stay and the food was great. The restaurant was even able to A comma date my celiac needs. Next time we are in the area we will stay again!

This place is a dive. They took what looks to have once been a cheap motel and threw paint and carpet in the rooms then put a fancy looking entrance on the place so that they could charge premium rates. I got one of their "Exclusive Family Suites" for my family for 4th of July weekend. It was $400/night so I was expecting something fairly nice. What I got instead was a junky old motel room that the door would barely open on that you could see daylight almost half way around, must be nice for the spiders to have such easy access. It was a single room with 2 beds and a pullout couch with a tiny bathroom. Everything in the room was cheap. They just threw paint and carpet at an old crappy room and called it a suite. They also told me they had secure trailer parking for my 23' lake boat. Not the case. They have an INCREDIBLY difficult to get to and inconvenient chunk of undeveloped ground on one corner of the property where the tenants of the on-site low income housing apartment building people piled their tree branches and crap. This place is a complete joke. It is not a resort, it is a junky old motel that some dishonest new owner is trying to maximize profits on. Also, the included breakfast is juice and a muffin. Needless to say we decided to have our money refunded and chose to stay elsewhere.

Spend three days in one of the cabins at the Flying Saddle Resort. Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay, staff was friendly and helpful. Got to enjoy our coffee in the morning sitting along the Snake River taking in the beautiful view and listening to the river. Would definitely stay again. Also enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning.
