Just arriving from a trip to Savannah and there was no Southern hospitality at this hotel. No complimentary water bottles upon check-in, no explanation of putting me in a different room even though I had completed the online check-in for a specific room prior to arrival. I did find out later the original room 903 had plumbing issues which is why I was switched to 801. Hotel and room was clean but there were no hand sanitizer stations. The renovated bathroom was beautiful with great water pressure in the shower. The bathroom faucet was in a wierd position at the corner of the sink so it was really difficult to even just wash hands. Lots of water ended up on the counter. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was just processed packaged carbohydrates, boiled eggs in individual plastic containers, yogurt, bananas, apples, cereal, and packages of instant oatmeal. There was no water available in the breakfast room. When I checked out and asked the front desk about the water, she then gave me two bottles of water. Parking was self-park for $25 per day. It wasn’t full so it was easier to maneuver the car.…
Best hotel I would recommend in Washington DC, coming there for the very first time especially all the way here in California to DC just for a appointment at the Fiji Embassy. Best hotel service, from the front desk to room service and cleaning service workers! Excellent. Breakfast was great and easy hotel drop off to the airport 💯‼️The black guy that worked night shift on the 21st September and the black Girl that worked night shift on the 22nd were one of my best Employees especially helping our other family get checked in when they got rejected from the Air BNB last minute and the hotel made sure to help us booking their room. We’re back in California now and we wished to stay longer but had to come back for work. 🥺 We will definitely come back and stay at the same hotel. Thanks everyone and God Bless 🙏🏾…
This hotel has a nice appearance. The rooms are a little tight but that’s the east coast for you. The main problem is the noise. It’s a loud hotel. Traffic is very close to the rooms so I guess try to get a high room to offset that (we were on four). If you can believe it, the air conditioning in this room almost worked too well...it was spitting out cold air even when turned a little to the warm side. And someone needs to work on the elevator buttons because you nearly need to punch them to get them to work. These are small things but still things. Also, why do hotel designers design hotels with light switches for the bathroom outside the bathroom itself? If you need a light in the middle of the night you wake everyone up.
Check in was a bit messed up in that we were staying for two night and they had the nights as two separate reservations, and sort of did us a favor by letting us stay in the same room both night. The water went out on the day of check out. They got it back on in about an hour, and were supposed to let us know when it was back on. They failed to notify us, but I heard the toilet running so I knew it was back on. That said, the room was very clean, the breakfast very good, and the location was very convenient.
My son and I visited the Washington, DC area recently and we stayed at the Hampton Inn near Reagan National Airport. The hotel is conveniently located to the airport and is only a few blocks from a Metro station. We were able to ride the train into Washington, DC each day. The customer service at this property was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we did have a few minor problems they resolved them promptly. The room was clean and comfortable. Soaps and supplies were kept stocked. Some of the common areas of the hotel like hallways and elevators need some attention. They all seem safe, but some of the walls are beat up and some carpets were stained. The area that I believe was the pool area was under construction. I don't know if they are remodeling the pool or putting something else in its place. The exercise room was nice and well-equipped. The breakfast area was comfortable and there is a good selection of food for breakfast. The breakfast is included in the price of the room. The breakfast included eggs, potatoes, waffles, yogurt, smoothies, juices, coffee, breads, cereal, and oatmeal. There is a good selection and the food quality was pretty good. I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn and would stay here again.…
