We understand that travel during the pandemic is different. We can put up with no breakfast, no maid service, masks at all times outside the rooms and ghostly empty hotels but no hot water and a management staff that outright lies to you is too much. As frequent business travelers and Gold Level members of their frequent traveler program we are very unhappy with our return stay at this property. First stay was 4 days. We had NO hot water our first morning. Told the front desk and the clerk said 'Yeah, I heard about that". We did get hot water for the remainder of that stay. Next morning our grab and go breakfast was a frozen solid apple and water bottle with a cereal bar. OK, someone goofed and put it in the freezer instead of the refrigerator. But, we got the same thing the next 3 days. Really? No one figured it out? I know I told them and I'm sure anyone else staying there did too. Our last day we had only HOT water. Soo hot it was impossible to take a shower. We left for the weekend and returned for 2 more days. Again, no hot water the first morning. Coffee maker not working. No towel replacement for the ones we left outside the door as instructed. Upon checking out I asked to speak to the manager. The desk clerk called someone and I was told he was in a meeting and was giving a business card. Really? That's how you deal with your loyalty members? I called back 2 days later and was told the manager was on vacation. If he was on vacation, who did the guy talk to before? I called back the next day and go NO ANSWER after 20 rings. I called back the next day and got the assistant manager who listened to my issues. I asked for a partial refund. He said he would have to look into it and promised to call me back the next day, Which he didn't do. We did get an email the next day, a form letter, from the manager, who said sorry but nothing else. Again, terrible customer service. This hotel is a great location for what we need when we go to the DC area. We would like to stay there again but at this point, we will not be staying there again. There's a Hilton a few blocks away.…
My husband found this hotel on his military veteran site. We were very pleased. Quick early check in. Covid precautions were being used. Our room was clean, the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Jalisa went out of her way from the time I added another day on our stay to making sure we had plates and utensils for our door dash dinners. Our room was comfy, the hallways were well lit, handicapped parking was near and all in all was a great stay. We would definitely stay here again!
This hotel is located behind another hotel that is nearly abandoned. It was very difficult to find- when we arrived the first night around 10pm we weren’t sure if it was safe to get out of the car! The front door was broken. The clerk made us walk around the back of the hotel to get inside- it was dark - not well lit! The clerk was not wearing a face mask- so much for Covid protection! The room was musty. We stayed 2 nights- there was no cleaning service for the room- no fresh towels, no beds made. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that there was no service. The “grab and go” breakfast included a fruit, protein bar, granola bar and bottle of water- that was nice. Overall, this hotel would not be our choice for the future- we just were not comfortable- it was weird and did not feel safe.…
Just a one night stay before flying out. Free shuttle you DCA but we took an Uber and it was ten minutes. Rooms were nice and large and had amenities. Seemed clean. Sheets were not big enough for bed so they kept coming off the king bed. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was warm but our ac worked well. Price was very reasonable and staff seemed friendly. There is breakfast for free served. We didn’t eat anything but did walk in the room. A full bar is there as well. All in all solid 4 star and worth the stay.
