The Hyatt Centric is even closer to Metro. This one is about 2 1/2 blocks away. The joy of this Metro station is three lines- blue, orange, silver -so no waiting a long time for a train. The front desk staff is quick to respond to any request. Breakfast is included. It could use more fruit. Otherwise, it is very complete. Not fancy. Our room has a small living room and a small bedroom. There are two TVs. The kitchen is well-equipped, dishes etc. The bathroom has a noisy exhaust fan that goes on when the light does. Many outlets! Cleanliness seems good. Housekeeping may be restricted to every other day.
This is my favorite hotel in the Dc area. The location is amazing - a very short walk to the metro station and only a few stops from the Smithsonian. Rooms are clean and easily accommodated our family of four. Good breakfast in the morning. A Starbucks is across the street.
We met here for my husband’s burial in Arlington National Cemetery. We had a room block for family and friends. This hotel was outstanding in every way - from the staff, rooms, complimentary breakfast, and cleanliness. We could not have pick a better hotel.
Marriott, and Residence Inns in particular, continue to disappoint. This time, it was the Residence Inn Arlington Rosslyn. The luggage carts are small and can't handle one person's bags. The linens are of poor quality and inadequate for warmth. The kitchen is so badly designed that you have to open the refrigerator to be able to open the utensil drawer. Plus, two of the cupboards are difficult to get into because of the location of the fridge. The entry door to the room is so tight, you have to use your shoulder to push it open. There was a web of matted hair on the wall of the shower when we arrived. The sheets for the pullout sofabed wre stained. They may have been washed, but the stains remained. No one wants that in a hotel. These are each fairly small problems, but when you are faced with all of them immediately upon arrival, it is truly offputting.…
We’ve stayed at this location a number of times over the past few months and it’s become our favorite spot in Rosslyn. Jaidon, Waleed and Younes at the front desk are always the first to greet us and make check in smooth and easy and accommodate all of our requests. Although I’ve only had one occasion to meet Flavia, the General Manager, she is extremely friendly, helpful and a treasure. Clean lobby, clean and spacious rooms, everything we need to cook and access to the hotel grill! Massun always gets us perfectly set up with the grill and utensils. Breakfast is pretty good, a little something for everyone, it’s a shame breakfast potatoes aren’t always on the menu, but that’s a small personal preference. We’re often asked, where did you get those potatoes, because we make them in our suite to have with breakfast, which is another great benefit to having our own kitchen! The staff on all levels here have been fantastic. We look forward to future stays.…
The location of this hotel is pretty great considering the price-for-location relationship for DC-area hotels. The staff is extremely accommodating and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean too. The hot breakfast is always a plus as were the guest laundry facilities. Located only a short walk from the Rosslyn Metro station (blue/silver lines) and the sign in the lobby noting the times for pending Metro bus times was really helpful. I will certainly return in the future.
Truly enjoyed our visit in July 2022 - great breakfast daily, nice room layout, as well as convenient walk to Target or grocery store and also not far to Metro station. Quite a few options for food in the area including 24/7 McD's. Great place to be based out of for a week of exploring the DC area
Stayed here for a few nights while visiting friends in the Washington area. Resistance Inn has always been a good and reliable chain, this is not a prime example. We chose this hotel primarily for location, which as expected is great. There are so many amenities walking distance from the hotel, including a big Safeway right across the street. The hotel itself is showing its age, especially in the corridors. The lobby / breakfast area has been somewhat ‘updated’. The breakfast was very limited, after the first morning we went elsewhere. I was very disappointed that there wasn’t a waffle machine like Residence Inns used to have. Our two bed suit was a bit on the small side. Everything was clean but starting to look tired. The kitchen was decently well equipped. A downside was the room was very noisy. With the air conditioning, lift, road noise and being under the flight path it was not the most relaxing nights sleep. There’s also a weird sensor on the air con that turns it on with movement so it woke me up at 4am one day when it suddenly switched on. In one of the bedrooms you could barley walk round the bed let alone open your suitcase. The bed was comfortable enough but the bedding barely fit. The curtains in the room where also pretty bad. The ‘blackout’ inner curtain didn’t close all the way which defeats the point of having blackout at all! On the last night a fight broke out in one of the rooms on our floor and the staff handled the situation very badly. All in all, I’d still somewhat recommend this hotel, mainly for the location. Since 3.5/5 isn’t an option I rounded down to 3/5.…
Very good accommodation for visiting Arlington/DC/Georgetown. Close to Metro but we walked to the National Cemetery then into DC via Memorial Bridge. Comfortable bed, although sofa bed was creaky and we were glad only 1 person needed it. Staff very professional and helpful. Breakfast ok. Not a great variety for anyone with a gluten intolerance, but enough to fill you up. Appreciated Keurig coffee maker in room for decent brew. Close to supermarket for provisions- <5 min stroll, and kitchen well equipped albeit only 2 burners on hob. Rooms are a little tired but very good value for DC area. Plenty of power outlets but would have appreciated USB charging points (had only one US/UK adaptor, as I expected USB points as standard). Will definitely consider staying here again if returning to DC area and happy to recommend it to anyone.…
All interactions with staff were polite and professional. You’ll get a Decent breakfast here. The rooms are spacious was wonderful. I enjoyed a bath for the first time in months. My bed was heaven. I was very happy with my stay at the Residence.
