This hotel is definately on my preffered list when visiting manila and probably the best Novotel I have stayed in. The staff are excellent and all the facilities and amenities we tried were good. Food was good in the buffet area, gourmet bar, pool bar and the lounge. The spa treatment was my first post Covid and was excellent on service abd hygeine. The room was comfortable with the only downside a little noisy but in manila that is not yo be unexpected.
Having a 9 AM speaking engagement in a technical conference held at this hotel, I decided to check in the day before to minimize the hassle. This despite living only 4.4 km (approximately 15 minutes away). Check-in was relatively quick and stress-free. As the bellhop escorted me and my luggage to my room, he made an effort to explain to me in great detail the different hotel facilities like the restaurants, sports facilities, how to get housekeeping to replenish supplies, etc. The hotel gave me the specific room type I asked for (Deluxe King) at the local rate. I found the room to be very well laid out, particularly the bathroom with easy access to the sink and the shower. There is a chaise lounge chair where you can take a nap so that you do not mess up the bed, and a reasonably sized desk to do work with relatively stable and fast internet. The hotel is centrally located in the Araneta center between Shopwise, Gateway Mall, SM Cubao, and Ali Mall. I made arrangements to have breakfast included in my reservation to save me the time and effort of having either to order breakfast or go out for breakfast. This would allow me to properly focus on preparing for my presentation. Turned out that the buffet breakfast was more like a full weekend extravaganza dinner buffet at Spirals (sans the cheese room) at one-fifth the price. This is one situation where discipline is highly recommended given the temptation to indulge lest you end up eating more than Hidilyn Diaz can lift. Another thing I appreciated was how everyone on the hotel staff greeted me by name once I had checked in to the hotel (and this was just an overnight stay). While the hotel takes pride in its efforts to minimize single-use plastic in its operations, I can see many areas in which this could be further improved (e.g. use water in glass bottles instead of plastic bottles, use coffee in paper sachets instead of plastic sachets). In my opinion, what is noteworthy evidence of the social responsibility of this hotel is its effort to patronize products resulting from fair trade practices.…
We stayed in this hotel for an overnight celebration with my partner. I expected some treats from this hotel (which some hotel normally does) but I expected too much because none was given. The front desk staff does not give a warm welcome since she don’t engage herself to us. She did not even discussed the house rules or even the hotel amenities. She just arranged our booking and get the payment of the room done and that’s it. She’s even not wearing nameplate (all of the FO persons does not wear one). Gym is not 24/7 which is kinda sad. TV is old fashioned. Hope modern hotels like this should adapt smart tv or update their channels. The pros in this hotel is their location. They are very accessible in everything we need. Food, entertainment, grocery, transportation. Everything is few walks away from this hotel. The jamming session in the pool area is kinda cool, having a night dip with a background music of live performance from the pool bar. We love the drinks in the pool bar. Our room on the 18th floor has a very nice view of the city. The bath amenities are lovely, which I wanted to purchase from them but they don’t have. And lastly, they have a lot of food options in their breakfast buffet. We love the Gelato btw. Hopefully Novotel Araneta City should train their Front Desk team to be more engaging and have more interactions with their guests. And I look forward for this when we return.…
Our large group booked several rooms for a birthday staycation. Pleasant stay, thumbs up for buffet restaurant which had plenty of food choices. Indoor play area, outdoor playground and swimming keep young kids entertained
Check in was good. She upgraded my room to a deluxe, and decided to join accor club. Breakfast food choices was excellent. No staff greeted me. And took care of me. So i waved at Kessler , he must be in charge because he has a different uniform. He helped me with all my request. Also a big shout for Mark. He was my waiter at the bar on the 6th floor
Booked for one night for SB19's homecoming concert at Araneta, we came in around 12pm and lines were long and front desk agents are very slow to accomodate. We waited for almost 2 hours just in the line and I finally get into the desk, the agent told me that rooms wasn't ready yet and this is around 2pm (check in time). He promised me of giving a call back as soon as our room becomes available. After 2 hours, (time check 4pm) 2 hours past check in time. I called using th3 hotel lobby phone and spoke to someone, asked for my name, etc and he told me I am not pre registered..... oh my goodness! I told him that I already have the receipt and confirmation numbers and I was even pre blocked to a room number. And he promised to give me a call in 15mins (no calls). So I decided to come down and fall in line again but a lady approached me and asked if I needed help and ofcourse I did need help. She fixed my issues and was given a room and was very apologetic. Upon entering our room. We experienced difficulty in opening the door, the key card does not work. A housekeeping leader helped us open it but he verified front desk of our identity. Room was very clean and modern, we had the pool view. Requested for an extra blanket and utensils which they immediately sent right away. Room temp was very cold even adjusting it to a warmer temp, it didn't work. Did not call since I can just sleep it away. Breakfast was nahhh, yeah it's a buffet but to my taste it is just plain and boring They could have added more filipino cuisine, simple and easy to cook. Overall I enjoyed our stay minus the key card issues, went down for about 5x.…
I love Novotel's interiors! Everything in the room was pretty making it a nice spot for rest and just a staycation. Service and response time was quick. I would also frequent the hotel for conferences and events and the service to non-billeted guests is impressive - guards and bellmen would offer to help and give the same service as though you are also checked in. We didn't enjoy the breakfast though - it was crowded and it takes a while before the refill comes. The entire set-up was also messy and there weren't many Food and Beverage staff attending to guests. We had to wait in line long to the point that we were given a table just a few minutes before 10 (end of breakfast time) - only to have the wait staff tell us 5 minutes after that buffet is closing. If tables are not enough for occupancy, then timing should be adjusted - or at least actively encourage in-room dining. Had the chance to have meals during events though and this was pleasant (as compared to dining at the restaurant for buffet breakfast) - the food was good. Overall - thumbs up to the room and events, and thumbs down to restaurant dining. Oh, and if you've checked in, you get a parking space for free.…
This is my second stay at this hotel. It is safe, located in a less crowded locality. The staff members are friendly. I found the rooms clean, safe and comfortable. The room is spacious and has all the amenities required for a comfortable stay.
Had a short stay in this hotel. The room is very nice for a standard room with a good view of the city. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The pool was a plus too. The location is the best part as it's located right in the middle of all the hot spots of Cubao area. Would absolutely stay here again if ever.
1. The Executive Suite is perfect for families! Spacious Living room, Bedroom, and Bathroom! 2. Fantastic Location. It’s right in the middle of everything in Araneta City. You will never get bored here! 3. Food! Lunch buffet at the Food Exchange was great! Love the quality and selection of dishes. Everything that we had at the Premier Lounge was top-notch! We want more of their steak-like Tapa and Pork candy-like Tocino! 4. Kids Club! Probably the first hotel we stayed in that had a play area for kids only and kids can stay there and have fun safely with very minimal charge after the free hour. 👌🏼 5. The Novotel Manila Team. Everyone was just so nice! Service was top-notch! 5-star level service. Huge thanks to CJ for making sure that our room was squeaky clean! Also, to the Marketing Team of Erwin, Jervic, and Chana! You guys are amazing!…
