Overall, as a start-up for family's accommodation experience, it was a good stay with a reasonable price comparing with its facilities/amenities. Although, this can be improved further through having a proper team to maintain the checking, especially on the upkeep and maintaining cleanliness of the rooms. The breakfast was excellent with much options to choose. To highlight the best part of the stay are the staff, which the security personnel with narrow eyes(singkit) as I don't know the name, was attentive and very informative of giving options especially in transportation modes. Another is Mr. J-bie Puertollano of housekeeping department whom I had a short conversation prior to check-out, whom a very raw talent which I think will be another valuable asset for the company once develop and groomed to become a future leader. The mentioned staff's if groomed will surely boost the hotel's improvement in the areas of cleanliness, maintenance and information's, as from my insight as a hotelier, the ones that really made guests comes back is not just a brand new facilities, but merely the way it is maintained, the warm hospitality and the broader range of information's and assistance the staff's has to offer.

I have stayed in this Hotel last February 6, 2016. I booked it thru travelbook for 1 night. The hotel was good and the staff were nice so we decided to extend for another night. So before I slept that night (feb6), I booked thru travelbook again using my CREDIT CARD. The next day, I talked to the receptionist informing her that we had extended our stay for another night and requested for a room make up and left. Later that afternoon, I realized that the CREDIT CARD that I used for booking was left in the Hotel Bed. With full trust, I was expecting that when we go back to the hotel, it'll still be there. But, I was wrong, my bank called me informing me that "SOMEONE WAS ILLEGALLY USING MY CREDIT CARD." When we came back to the hotel, i reported it to the Supervisor on Duty and was told that he will endorse it to the supervisor that will go on duty the next morning. February 8, 2016: I talked to the Supervisor, explained to him what happened and asked who cleaned our hotel room. As expected, I was told that the one who cleaned our room was off duty that day. Since we are checking out that day, the supervisor asked for my contact details and that they will conduct their own investigation. UNTIL THIS DAY, I HAVE GOT NO FEEDBACK FROM THE HOTEL. TO THE FUTURE CUSTOMERS, PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR THINGS.

PS- my english skills is not that good. Sorry for some grammatical errors. I'm no fluent guy huhu. Thanks!! For hesitant travellers who's considering this hotel. Read till the end.
*I've booked Suite #1 room by the way. Hotel offers 4 room types. Premium Room, Deluxe Room. Suite 1 and Suite 2.*

Despite of some bad reviews I've read on some travel websites, I still gambled my money here because of it's promising amenities. Number one is the indoor pool, buffet breakfast and free wifi. So far. I was satisifed but not completely. I will rate every aspect of the hotel features 5 is the highest 1 is the lowest. I will post pictures as well for you to see the actual ones.

Location 10/5- GREAT! Few awalks away from SM North Edsa and Trinoma. There's an adjacent pharmacy-convenient store as well.

Lobby 5/5 - lobby has fancy and good interior design, visually entizing! Security guard and front desk ladies are polite as well.

Elevator 4/5 - there's only two elevators, there's a scanner inside where you can't use elevators if you don't have keycards. In short, you can't use elevators if you didn't avail rooms. The elevator is filled with menus and amenities pictures as well.

Corridor/Hallway 4/5- hallways are good. In every room there's a room number together with the names and pictures of famous celebrities hollywood personnels. It determines the design of the room you'll get. See pictures that I will upload.

Room design 5/5- upon entering the room, my partner and I just say wow. We got the Jackie Chan room, the color of the room is contemporarish *sorry for my term lol*. There's a big painting of Jackie Chan.

Cleanliness 4/5- Upon entering, we smelled a sweet citrus scent (airfreshner). Bathroom smells like bleach, it seems it was newly cleaned.

Bathroom 2/5- this is the only one thing that disappoint us in this property. No doormat. Tub doesn't have sink stopper, sink in floor is blocked. That's why we carefully take a bath. It seems there's a problem with their sewage. We called a room attendant to fix the issue, RA is a lil bit impolite, after he remove the water on floor he didn't adviced us that he's already done. He just went out and leave the door open. I still give 2 out of 5 since the design of the bathroom is good.

Indoor pool 4/5- we're lucky since on that day that we check in, pool was just opened from renovation. not so crystal clear but you can see it's clean. Chlorine content is okay. There's alot of beach chair. Two showers. Satisfied.

BREAKFAST 5/5- Buffet breakfast. Completely satisfied!!! Variety of choices. On that day, menu is garlic rice, pork tocino, corned beef, fried bangus (milkfish), hashbrown and egg omelet station. There's alot of breads as well, cereals and fruits slices. Coffee, lipton teas and cucumber water. Dining area was beautiful too. Great!!!

Wifi 2/5- wifi is lil bit slow, speed is ideal only for browsing not for watching videos.

Other amenities-
TV 5/5- 32" TLC HD TV with premium channels. Completely satisfied with the tv!

AC 5/5- after around 15 minutes, room start to become cold. Great!

Cabinet/Cloth organizer 5/5- big cabinet, with 10 hangers. Nice!!

Mini fridge 5/5- LG brand. Good!

Blow dryer 5/5 - Good!

Lights organizer 5/5- very convenient to turn off and on the lights. Adjacent to your bed.

Coffee maker 5/5- it comes with two free instant coffee. Water heater is very easy to use as well.

Window 5/5- I was placed in a room with a city view, see pictures.

Pros- low rate/average price, great location, great buffet breakfast, clean, large and beautiful room, beautiful view, indoor pool, mini fridge, cloth organizer.

Cons- poor sewage/drainage system. slow wifi.

Verdict- If you're into staycation and you're with your partner or family, I recommend this hotel since it offers the services and amenities that you need. I don't recommend this property to business travellers since it has slow wifi connection.

Will I come back? YES. My 3,300 pesos was worth it. Actually I just booked again few hours ago lol. I hope the consistency in good customer service and cleanliness remains. And I hope that the management fix the sewage/drainage issue as well. Kudos to Icon Hotel North Edsa. More power !!!!!!

It’s globally pandemic, we always follow social distancing, wash hands time to time & use sanitizer on excessive amount to get away from covid. But this doesn’t apply to this hotel where the OFW stayed. I felt sorry for those people were allocated on this hotel. The hotel was filthy, cockroaches everywhere, toilet stinks, floor not cleaned and I wonder if they even sanitize the room. We just have no choice as this has been payed by the government but hello, the management should check to ensure that they follow the protocols. Though, staffs are courteous but luck of training and no one is supervising them perhaps.

The room I and my family availed was Suite 1 - one with tub. The room we got had a tub with a broken drain. The water wont fill up the tub as the drain screw was broken. In addition, we woke up in the middle of our sleeps because the AC was faulty and the room was too warm! We were told to move to another room, but the room we were provided had no tub, and no cabinets. I wanted to ask for a refund but it was too much a hassle. Just adding this up as a charge to experience. Never booking this hotel again!

Icon Hotel in Quezon City presents an interesting concept. Rooms are themed based on celebrities or famous historical figures. This may appeal to some more than others but I found it quite interesting. The building is rather new and the interior is quite nice. The food at the included breakfast was also quite good. This was all overshadowed, however, by the horrible service and attitude of the staff. I booked a room as a walk in for 3 days, and clearly mentioned that I might consider staying longer. The clerks at the reception desk did not attempt to tell me about a special offer the hotel had where if you book for 5 nights the 5th night is free. I ordered room service my first day and the food was good. I asked the waiter if I had to pay him for it or if it could be put on my bill to pay at the front desk. He said I could pay at the front desk. About 2 hours later the waiter and a manager called my room demanding that I pay immediately. *Worst of all, after having paid for 3 nights, after only 2 nights' stay, the front desk started calling my room demanding that I check out by noon or pay more. I had to interrupt my morning to go and argue with the front desk clerks that paying for 3 nights means I should be able to stay for 3 nights. She finally conceded that I was right but I didn't receive so much as an apology.

I do not recommend this hotel based on the terrible service. I have never in my life felt so unwelcome as a guest at a hotel.

Worst customer service ever. We arrived at 8 AM and the front desk attendants Leida (spelling might be incorrect) and Sham said our rooms (4 of them) would not be ready. That's ok because again it was too early. So we left and returned at 4 PM (later than the check-in time). 2 out of the 4 rooms were ready. What could have been the issue? They had time after checkout which is 10 AM to prepare the room but Leida and Sham who were still there could not resolve the issue and told us to wait. At this point we needed to speak to a manager. The two front desk staff, Leida and Sham kept avoiding the subject of finding a manager (Mr. Quiapo). Now it's about 4:30 PM and still no manager. They did however avoid confrontation by saying the room was now ready. So we went to the room - Steve Jobs room where we found out that the cot we requested was not available. We went downstairs to inquire and found out we needed to pay more for the bed because we didn't request it even though it was part of our original booking. Now we really needed to see Mr. Quiapo but he avoided us at all costs. When we finally called back from the room the ONLY helpful person was Ben who was able to bring a cot and one extra towel because there were 3 guests in my room. They can only give one towel per guest even though the bathroom floods because it is level with the rest of the bathroom.

They do NOT clean your room! Yes you read that correctly. When I inquired about that I was told, "You did not surrender your key card so we could not enter your room." So basically if you by mistake left your card in your hotel room for electricity and closed the door no one can ever enter because there's only one key per room. I did ask for a second key but was told it's only one key per room.

The fact that I had to rate them as terrible is not an accurate description of this hotel. It is your worst nightmare and the worst way to spend your money. The ONLY other good thing besides Ben, the friendly service worker was the location. However, it's not worth it when there are other establishments nearby. Please don't stay here for your sanity. Also, if you happen to be in an area you can read other reviews like on Yelp which isn't available in the Philippines please do so to save yourself time, money, and your sanity.

TERRIBLE HOTEL. DO NOT STAY HERE!
We traveled from the US to do a mission trip and unfortunately stayed at this place.
1. Was told we needed to pay for extra towels. We traveled from across the world. We will not steal your used towels.
2. They seem to be racist against Filipinos. I traveled with some NON-Filipino friends on this trip. They got extra towels without being told there was an extra fee. To fellow Filipino-Americans: pay the extra $$ and stay elsewhere. It was not worth the inconvenience and rudeness I experienced here.
3. The toilet was broken, called the front desk 7:30am to get it fixed and they said okay, came back 6pm, still not fixed. Called the front again and they told us we needed to "surrender our key" in order for them to get into the room BUT was NEVER told. What hotel does that?
4. Worst customer service ever experienced with SHAM (front desk concierge). She was rude, not helpful, not accommodating for reasons above.
5. Pool area- scary looking.

Many points of concerns I audited the room and services. The room comes with one key card only for two people the lift works on the keycard. In room no drinking glass or to wash teeth, no kettle or complimantary coffee. There is no welcome pack with information about the room and services or how to operate the safe.I had to call to get the safe repaired and get instruction to work it. The door peephole almost falling out.Major concern pull the bed you will find bare conducting circuit board and power supply to the mains going under bed can cause electrocution or fire. Broken fixture in the room obvious patch up jobs peeling ceiling water damage. Wifi poor connection if you can access at all.the showerhead above is not adjustable, the water slopes towards the bedroom so it floods the bathroom. A flimsy plastic divider so it sticks to you. Tv is small has no menu to see what program and times are showing. Remote control is tied to the back of the bed unfortunately to read on-screen details you have to pull the remote even then it's still behind you.the bed is two single matress put together they slide apart at night if you move too much. The bed sheet is undersized by morning bedsheets are on the floor.
Return calls from service desk go unchecked, my bedroom wasn't done until 6PM and after I had called and gone to the lobby to tell them to get it done now. Had to call several times for toilet paper for soap and toothbrush.
Complaint process is stonewalled, can't speak to a manager. Asking to leave early due to complaints you will won't get the unused credit they will pocket one days pay. They give empty apology and don't even try to give anything to mend bridges with customers.
Buffet isn't , it's basic choice of 5 hot food coffee juice toast butter swimming in water. Complimentary cracked cup health hazard.some tables are coffee tables and have to hunch down to eat breakfast.
Nights are noisy same as day due to traffic and constant car horns.
service is slow, lift is pot luck having stop to your floor take a seat could be waiting a while.
