experience power shortage/interruption during our stay (5-6hrs) without any visible announcement from their site when we booked the room online. Should compensate this inconvenience by other means like not charging us extra 900 pesos for early check in. power interruption of 5-6hrs means we cannot also use their wifi connection. receptionist during that time was quiet annoying by only saying that they cannot do anything with the situation (should call Manager). telephone is not inside the room to call for assistance and was only given a mobile number so we can call reception. too much hassle for those staying in the room. when we checked in, the liquid soap is almost empty.

It was very unfortunate that you were not able to see the said advisory. As for the telephone inside the room, our front desk can be reached 24/7 via our mobile phone either by using our mobile app 's chat feature or by texting or calling us directly. Staying at Red Planet Hotel for our Hotel Quarantine was a very comfortable and calming experience. When we first arrived we were treated very nicely by the staff and checked-in our rooms in under 5 minutes. The food they they delivered was delicious, the beds and air-con quality in our room was very relaxing, and there was not even a tiny bit of dirt in our room. I really recommend this hotel to the people that want to take a moment from the noise in the city and calm their minds in Red Planet Hotel. Amazing Experience!

For someone who needs a base to explore Quezon City whether alone or with a travel companion, Red Planet Hotel in Quezon Timog offers a budget-friendly and safe accomodation. While the cheapest rates do not include food services, there are a lot of diners, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. There are also a bunch of convenience stores around ready to serve you. Getting booked-in was very simple just taking a few minutes. Unfortunately, the internet signal was not good enough to conduct zoom meetings, and a maintenance of the hot water system occurred during my stay. But overall, the relaxation and comfort, combined with the security, cleanliness and general quiet provided, made the stay a top-class experience.

Red planet has been my go to hotel for a couple of years now but it is a first for this locations. Health guidelines are strictly followed by staff, which was excellent from the guard to the front office staff. I had a lot of questions but not once did I feel that they were irritated with my inquiries, all of my questions were answered promptly and professionally.

A few issues I encountered were the weaker than average cooling for the AC even at max cooling and it also dripped inside the room, although it wasn't a really bad issue for us.

The shower was excellent, and has been fairly consistent on all my Red planet stays, the hot water was really hot and the water pressure did not have any issues

This branch, at the time of my stay, did not offer toiletries, this is not an issue as we can always bring our own, it's just that there was no notice of this.

Still for the price, the value of this hotel is unmatched

Here are the inconveniences we have experienced as family of 4 with a twin room booking reservations at room numbers 906 & 907:

1. There is no housekeeping during our stay. It is a the hotel policy that is not hygienically good specially if you have kids.

2. We stayed for 2 nights but there is no replenishing of toilet tissues.

3. Room slippers and complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided. They are selling it as a package in the reception area for 75 php.

4. Parking area of the hotel is a firsf come first serve basis. Since we arrived late at night from having our dinner, there is no parking space left for us and the hotel security guard advised us to go for a pay parking at the Petron gasoline station just across the hotel. It cost us 250 php for an overnight parking.

On a three month tour of SE Asia, this was our worst hotel. Had pervasive sewer odor, and moldy smell when the AC wasn’t on; carpet in the hall was stained; the room so small that there wasn’t a room for a chair or our suitcases were on the floor, and in the bathroom I hit my head on shower enclosure when using the toilet. The shower couldn’t maintain a comfortable temperature between hot and cold. Only amenity was three-in-one soaps in a red dispenser in the shower and a similar red hand soap near the sink. There is no phone in the room which was super inconvenient when trying to communicate with front desk or make local calls when our cell battery was down. No breakfast! No even a hot water kettle for DIY coffee or tea! No breakfast rolls. Front desk didn’t seem to know taxi cost to the airport; that’s important as I was leaving the country and didn’t want to take out too much or too little from the ATM for the ride. This hotel has no idea what travelers need for services and has lost graciousness—not a very good impression of the Philippines.

1. Flickering lights along the hallway. Seems like you're in a horror movie.
2. Flush has very noisy, screeching, unpleasing sound while replenishing water in its tank.
3. Shower suddenly turns to hot or cold even without touching the switch/knob.
4. Pillows are too soft and thin. Very uncomfortable to use even if you put one on top of each.
5. WIFI connection was slow and was lost after an hour or so. I needed to use my mobile internet instead.
6. Only one key card provided. Should be 2 since the room is good for 2 persons.
7. No freebies. Slippers or bottled water could've been provided.

I stayed here for two weeks, and I was constantly attended to by professional and courteous staff. Though the room accommodations were simple, they were all I needed and were more than enough given the budget-friendly cost of the stay. The doormen made sure I felt safe upon entry and exit to the street or to my Grab car. I am highly considering staying here again the next time I visit QC!

If this is your choice of hotel to just let New Year's Day better to just stay home. A hotel which shampoo, conditioner and soap in one dispenser (public hygiene). Well they have strict non smoking regulation and New Year isn't a day they would let you pass for Php 2000 which is penalty higher than the room rateand they've got your soap and shampoo, conditioner in a dispenser. It's something for public hygiene. 2nd to the worst is the motorcycle parking. Talking about discremintion parking where they will ask you to park to the this small space and compressing all the motorcycle in there. They manner for not to touch something isn't yours doesn't only apply to cars but also to motorcycle. After asking to park on where they directed you to, they will just move your motorcycle without asking. Would they do the same if it were a car? Of course not. Discrimination where manners are only applied to chosen few. What a way to mess your New Year. Something they you can never make it up to. Not on New year's day!!!

The decision of the management to shift to a 3 in 1 head & body wash placed in a dispenser was because of our initiative to be more eco-friendly. Rest assured that strict quality check is being done to ensure that we maintain hygienic standards for our amenities. As for the smoking penalty, this was clearly discussed upon your arrival that smoking is not allowed in our property and that we have to charge anyone who violates this rule. You may want to check this policy with other hotels in the area as well as this is also being strictly implemented by the local government. The fire alarm also caused panic to other guests that is why we had to inform you immediately. Regarding the motorcycle parking, our security guard admitted that he had to move it a little so that the other motorcycle can park properly as you were occupying slots that are meant for 2 motorcycles. I can guarantee that your motorcycle was handled properly and that it was just a minor movement on the handle bars. Our front office supervisor was asking you of what happened but you just left after shouting at the staff. Please know that our staff are here to make your stay comfortable and that we did not in any way intend to make it inconvenient for you.
