As a small and independent hotel run by people who love to travel, Soleste Suites cares for you the way we would an honored houseguest, within the comfort of a hotel designed with you in mind. We are located on Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City, right by a major intersection that can take you straight to EDSA, Manila's major highway. Two of the country's shopping and business hubs - Eastwood City and Ortigas Center - are just 10 to 15 minutes away. We're also a quick ride from Manila's International and Domestic Airports. All our rooms feature a cushy bed and a well-appointed private bathroom. To make your job (and your life) easier, there's free WiFi, a fitness room, an in-house travel agency, and four unique event spaces for whatever you may need. Breakfast is served at the Cafeteria, our small cafe right at the lobby. Whether you're in town for work or play, we've got the things that matter to you as a traveler, and as a houseguest.

We always had a great time staying at Soleste Suites for a couple of times already. This coming October will be the 4th time of having room reservation here.

Booking room reservation was totally different since the pandemic started. A lot of good hotels/suites were closed and not accessible for people who just wanted to take a quick break outside home and work. I am very cautious when it comes to selecting a place to stay. The security, ambiance, cleanliness, professional management and staff, accessibility in transportation, restaurants, convenience stores and a lot more are being considered whenever I look for a place to stay. I patiently read travelers reviews to get more actual details of the hotel/suites.

Then I suddenly discovered Soleste Suites as one of the most recommended place to stay at. We experienced great service, super clean room, and tried their selection of delicious breakfast! We felt secured and safe also because we noticed how they strictly follows safety protocols within the whole area. Staffs and crews are very polite, friendly and attentive.
I loved how I quickly get response whenever I have questions or I needed something in the room. The whole experience never changed ever since our first stay at Soleste. I am glad to discover this gem in the city and will continue to choose this one whenever we want to have a quick staycation.

Stayed for one night in this delightful locally run hotel. Friendly and genuine staff, clear, cute and comfortable room, fantastic breakfast (especially the mountain of crispy bacon and coffee).

The previous night I stayed at The Hotel Manila, which was dated and where staff were unfriendly and unhelpful - Soleste Suites was a much much better experience!

They add charges at the checkout if they feel like you ordered too much free breakfast! Added over 3200 pesos to our bill. We paid what we considered unfair fee, but we will never go here again. Breakfast definitely not free at 3200+ pesos

Undoubtedly, the place was tidy, food is great, and almost perfect for business and pleasure. However, on our second day, we went out to buy some stuff at a mall. Not knowing that I have forgotten to take my jewelry from the room we're staying. Upon our return, the room was already made up but I have not found my jewelry from where it was placed. I was oblivious in finding them thinking that it was just right there. It was only after we checked out I realized that my pieces of jewelry were missing. I presumed it was stolen because the incident happened exactly that same hour where we left off. I have reported the incident to the reception in charge and requested for a thorough investigation. I also requested to bring this matter to the management or to her superior but in no avail. Further, I also found her report unsatisfactory and irrelevant. No proof of evidence that there was an investigation being conducted regarding the incident. I hope that through this, the management will be aware and therefore will not tolerate such act of dishonesty.

Nobody wants to experience like this. Thus, the management should do and act something to prevent this from happening again. After all, I believe that honesty, courtesy and integrity is part of your SOP.

Dear ajaaja42, Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable review. The fact that you enjoyed our food, cleanliness, and thought we were “almost perfect” means a lot to us. I do sincerely apologize that we did not live up to the usual high standards that the majority of TripAdvisor reviewers talk about. I was very disappointed to read about your experience during your stay with us. I do feel confident however, that we did everything that we could do to help locate your missing jewelry. When you informed us two days after you’ve checked out, we immediately did an exhaustive search of the room and all public areas of the hotel. A full investigation was conducted involving all staff members who had access to the room; the incident was also reported to the local barangay/police. Management was informed the moment we received the complaint and I have been in constant communication with the Front Office team. This is the first time an incident of this nature has been reported since the hotel’s opening. Providing our guests with the best possible hospitality and service has always been our top priority. Again, please accept my apology for your less than stellar experience with us. I hope you give us another opportunity to welcome you back and exceed your expectations. Cheers and happy travels, Candice

My feedback is based on living in the condo for 30 days.

I came far from Europe, after a long trip, almost 24hrs i reached the hotel around 8pm, since was not the first time and familiar with the staff and surrounding i just dropped my stuffs in the room C1 and left to have a dinner to place near by. When i came back, a special guest engage me like no other staff member, it was a big crock-road in a bathroom. Since was 10pm and now one was available at front desk i have to wait till morning.
In the morning i contacted one of the staff member from front desk to show the special guest, She apologized and offered another room with the promise that next one it will be clean and will ensure not happen again. The next room was C5, when i return to the room late in the evening, i noticed something moving like a worm, then i start to dig more and more, and i found a lot of things unacceptable for a hotel with a such a reputation thru tripadvisor reviews.
1. the ac system full of black spots, like mold,
2. a 2nd cock road
3. dust accumulation more than a day
4. mold and rust inside the fridge
5. the corners of bathroom walls with mold
6. crack tiles
7. old furniture
8. dirty linen
9. web spiders under the bed you sleep
I called again one of the staff from the front desk, it was DJ, to show all of this, and i said how SOLESTE received so many good reviews when you have so many problems ? she replayed that all reviews are in base of the rooms from the hotel, than i said, so condo is not part of the SOLESTE ? then she admitted the matter and offered me a room in the hotel till morning when they will give me another room.
After two incidents, i even check the room from the hotel ...do you think that room was better ? no way...the ac system with black molds, very loud...etc.
The following day i moved to C7, the room was better than C1 and C7 but with room from improvement....
1. the ac system is positioned straight to the bed, which for me was a fight as Im not friendly with artificial air and i got easy sick, for two weeks i had couch and problem with ears
2. the ac system was not that clean
3. the ac system from bathroom was not clean for a long time
4. after few days i saw another cock road;
5. I called for maintenance of shower sink that is clog, as per them everything is fine i have had to solve my self the problem.
6. No bathroom tissue, so i bought my self
7. you can hear very well the cars passing,
Anticipate guest needs : from 1 to 5, i give 0, why ? i use to clean my room monday and friday (as per their policy, the room can be clean twice in a week), now since i have this schedule, they should called me (front desk) if following day i want to proceed with cleaning of the room
Extra mile : after all incidents, no one call me to see if im comfortable, i use to pass to front desk to ask my self if everything is fine.

Now the LAST HIT was when i have to payed the bill for electricity .... 10.560 pessos (200 $)

So now let me ask you dear readers, how much electricity i can use in 30 days, when i use to leave the room in a normal day around 8 to 9am and to come back 9pm, and from 9pm i use to keep the ac system open time to time (20 celsius, one tv to watch the eurocup and to charge my cellphone and tablet....is that cost 200 $.....so i can be honest, from 10560 pessos, 5000 pessos was deducted, and rest it was over-usage that i have to pay.

Total fee 33 k (700 $) accomodation for 30 days....some people they will think o cheap, others expensive....i just need a clean room where i can feel safe where i can sleep and to have a shower in the morning before i go out, i dont need gym, or breakfast, or pool or any other amenities....just a simple and clean room....

I can see is a totally lack of maintenance and interest for improvement...when i noted many other thinks like, broom kept by the entrance of room C2 more than 4-5 days, cigar butts around the hotel, grouting coming out from tiles, the deck of parking is cheap.....

No matter which hotel you choose, 1 star or 5 stars, the main priority should be safety.... a safe place is a comfortable place and make the customer to return....now if you want extra....like room service, breakfast, wake-up call, valet for parking, pool, spa, gym...etc than you pay the right price....

Im totally dissapointed and for sure 99% i will not return, for that amount of money i can rent a condominium like in Eastwood, or for a better price, but not 700 $/month....dont look at us just because we are foreigners and think we have money, people are doing efforts and sacrifices to save money to have a memorable vacation and all what you got is a mess....

Ovidiu N, thank you for your second stay and taking the time to leave your feedback. The best and most effective way for us to improve the quality and consistency of our service is to listen to the concerns and recommendations of our guests. They often see areas for development where we may have overlooked. That said, we sincerely apologize for the issues during your stay and the perceived lack of service; it is very troubling to read. We make cleanliness a top priority and any deviation from this standard is taken very seriously. We also take great pride in providing a comfortable home-like environment for all of our guests while focusing on a personal approach to any concerns they may have. I will personally review these procedures with all of our staff to ensure situations like yours are handled with the utmost care and compassion. That is our aim at Soleste Suites and we are so sorry it was not your experience. It is our practice to take the good with a smile and learn from the bad. We can only hope to win back your confidence; if you do give us another chance, we will try our best to make things right. Please feel free to reach me anytime at hello@solestesuites.com. Sincerely, Jozelle Binua, Operations Manager at Soleste Suites

After a great diving experience and returning to Manila area I chose a hotel that was a little ways from Manila and yet close to the Victoria Liners Bus Station so I could relax a little before I headed north. Victoria Suites Hotel fit the bill with breakfast included. The staff helped me get sorted out for the bus ride north, set up a taxi and all with a smile.

641dags2013, thank you so much for your review. We're so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and our wonderful staff. Just a quick note -- Metro Manila is a metropolitan area made up of 16 cities & one town. Manila is one of those, as well as Quezon City, where we're from. You're absolutely right though, we're the perfect spot if you're headed up north of the Philippines (Ilocos, Cagayan, Baguio, Banaue, Sagada, Zambales, La Union, Pampanga), since we're a stone's throw away from the local bus terminals that'll take you to these awesome provinces. We hope you'll be back soon! Cheers and happy travels, Soleste Suites Team

I travel to Manila at least once a year. My wife and I stayed for 11 days around Christmas and New Year's. We chose this hotel because it is a short cab ride to Eastwood Citywalk, where my wife like to shop We rented the penthouse. It was priced in comparison with a regular room at some of the chain hotels where we usually stay. But this time I decided to try a local hotel and I am so glad I did. As for the staff here, the only thing I can really say is they are more friendly and give you better service than I have ever gotten at any 5 star hotel around the Metro. The room was very clean and complimentary breakfast was delicious. While writing this I have been trying to think of a negative about this hotel and the only thing I can come up with is the hot water was a little under-pressured. Other than that my stay was one of the best I have ever had.

good location. Comfortable overnite stay with breakfast. Staff were friendly, accommodating. Cable signal wasn't too good but no big deal. The lobby was a bit bare, guess it could look more appealing by putting some colorful decors. We would surely come back. Thank you Soleste :)

I am currently at Soleste Suites for my second stay. This time for nine days. I come to Manila primarily for medical checkups at St. Luke's. I have the Junior Suite (about US$91/night including breakfast). The suite is two large rooms, AC, refrig, TV, lovely bath, and very comfortable bed. I was greeted in the room with a welcome bowl of fresh fruit. All of the young people working here show wonderful Filipino hospitality. The 4th floor room has side and front windows with expansive views of the Katipunan area in QC. The breakfasts are not extensive but quite adequate. I am extremely pleased and will stay here again.
