From Aurora Blvd, just keep driving going to Cubao. You will pass Saint Joseph Parish then turn right to the street facing World Citi College then there you will see the red building. It's a 2 year old building so its quite a new.
When we arrived, the staff are all smiling and friendly even their security officer. The room was clean and fragrant. They have water dispensers on the lobby of each floors and has free candies too. Family room has 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The aircon is built in, there's a dresser, LED TV, mini dining table with free bottle water and coffee in sachet. The bathroom is very updated for P2100/day. In the morning of Jan 1, we went out to eat and we asked them if they can clean the room. When we arrived, there's a free bottle water again and free coffee. Overall, it feels like staying in a 5 star hotel. I highly recommend it. :)
Though the hotel is supposedly non-smoking, when I arrived my room was filled with smoke. It was overwhelming. Someone had clearly been smoking in the room just before I arrived (& considering I checked in late, no one should have been in the room just before I arrived). It was not smoke from outside or another room. It was sickening. & they hadn't even opened a window to let it air out.
Second, I booked my night nights online & paid in advance. I arrived late (1am) the first night, & that was no problem. However, on my last night (the night before my checkout), the hotel staff called my room at 1am, woke me up, & told me I had to leave right now. WTF? I told them no, I paid for the night & had confirmed that checkout was noon the next day. They argued, telling me that because I'd checked in at 1am, I now had to leave at 1am, & they'd charge me more if I wanted to stay longer. I ended up telling them to figure it out & went back to sleep. It was definitely among the more stupid behaviour I've encountered at a hotel, & it's especially upsetting because it was a complete disregard for my safety. You don't kick a chick out of a hotel at 1am in MANILA for crying out loud.
Other items of note, both good & bad:
-Mostly excellent bathroom with a fully functional toilet, sink, & separate shower (if you've travelled to the Philippines you know that toilets can be an issue). However, they're very stingy with toilet paper so you will likely have to buy your own, & the shower is warm & never gets anywhere near hot
-They didn't clean my room the first four days I was there. I had to ask them to please start cleaning (I needed toilet paper & the garbage emptied at the very least), then they started coming every day
-The only garbage they provide is a tiny (tiny!) garbage by the toilet
-When they did start cleaning the room, they kept throwing out my bottles of water. I had to start hiding them
-Excellent air conditioning in the room. It only takes a few minutes to completely cool off the space
-The window was small & in the corner of the room & the blinds don't lift up, so the room is always dark
-There was a small window in the bathroom that doesn't close all the way
-There was a water cooler outside my room (on the fifth floor) that gave both hot & cold water, which was a life saver for making instant noodle soups & herbal teas
-Hearing the traffic & general outside noise wasn't a problem, but the walls are very thin & I definitely heard other visitors in the hallway
-You're provided with a menu in the room, but if you try to order from it you'll find they only have a couple of the items, & you can see those items in the fridge downstairs. They don't look especially appetizing
-The wifi is mostly good -- very strong signal, but it does break down. I had to ask them to reset it several times during my stay. I'd be getting full signal but no actual internet, & it would be like that all day until I finally asked them to deal with it
-TV gets loads of stations
-You do need to book through agoda, unless you're already in the Philippines & can call them. I didn't want to sign up for an agoda account so I emailed them, & it took them three weeks to respond (by which point I'd already gone through agoda)
