Detailed Reviews
Experience at Studio 87 is okay. Upon checking-in, we saw 2 cockroaches in the bathroom, and 1 on the bed. Receptionist must check first the status of the room before letting the guest check-in. The smell of the room is okay. A/C is cold. No bath mat at the bathroom. Please also check the amenities on the room. Accessible to food establishments. Has a strong wi-fi connection. Bed is comfortable. Overall, the stay is good.

i got this accommodation thru a promo from Zen room. it was less than 700p. its ok for its price plus it has mini stop on the ground floor. my recommendations would be to install bidet and to make the single beds a little bigger. also, the phone is not working and the TV needs enhancement.

+1
Arrived before check-in and entered the room at 2:35 pm. This place mostly caters to students. The room is very clean and smells like it too. I especially liked the bed setup with the Zen Room throw pillows. Cooking is not allowed but you have a microwave and a big refrigerator to pack all of the food that too bought. But no spoon and fork were provided. Pack some utensils. This place is very accessible to all of your needs. Wifi is provided and very strong. Bed is firm but comfortable too. I got a room with 2 single beds but like I said, this place is similar to a dorm. Besides making me wait for my check-in, I was not disappointed. Highly recommended!

I chose the Studio 87 Residences due to it being extremely close to my girlfriend’s parents’ home. The reservation process was easy through Booking.com and I could ask questions to the hotel. They were very helpful and my questions were sufficiently answered.
When I arrived in the evening, the staff was immediately very friendly and helpful. They require the full amount at check-in, which is fine. The whole process went smoothly and the staff did well.
The room is relatively large and features everything you might need, in my case also a fridge, water boiler and microwave, which were very useful. The room was very clean and everything was well prepared. The beds are good, but a bit too hard to my taste, really depends what kind of hardness you prefer, but still good quality. The pillows were great. There are more than enough power sockets and also closets and drawers for storage. There are also two (quite small) desks with effective lights and chairs. The AC and fan are quite capable, quickly cooling the room. The AC is a bit old and noisy, though, but still works fine. You can’t set it to a specific temperature, but that’s okay. Once again everything was clean, no insect, no dirt, nothing, which was a very pleasant surprise.
The bathroom is probably the weakest point. It is very small and the door opens to the inside, making it all quite cramped. There is also not a lot of space for toiletries. The shower is also small and old, with many stray streams of water. In my case, it wouldn’t get warm. And while I asked for 2 (or 3) times to get it fixed, they didn’t manage. I didn’t pursue it too much as it wasn’t that bad, but having warm water would have been nice.
One thing to note is that the curtains do not block much light and when it’s light outside (and also lights at night from other buildings) it isn’t really dark in the room. The windows also don’t block much sound and in the morning especially, but also throughout the day, roosters can be heard frequently. Neighbors are also occasionally noisy.
I asked for a late check out and it was granted without a fee, which was very kind. Furthermore, I had a number of random requests (spoon and a special power adapter) and they were both granted. The staff also remains active 24/7. The door is barred at night but staff remain ready to open it if you come home late or leave early. They were simply extremely friendly and helpful, thank you for that. There is a door on the second floor that a staff member has to open, which can be annoying but they’re always helpful and it enhances security.
The location is okay, by tricycle a number of malls can be reached very easily.
Overall, excellent staff, good room but noisy and mediocre bathroom but still very affordable. I enjoyed my stay!

When I called the receptionist transferred my call to their office. Their office staff sucks at customer service. I am just asking for rates for a 5-days accommodation.

The reservation experience was great. It was fast and the ZenRooms website is very user-friendly. This is a must for me because the reservation phase always makes a lasting impression. Staff was friendly and immediately assisted me when I arrived.
I still hope though that they will improve on some things. Bed linen had some stains, poor Wifi and TV cable signal (which was really a huge disappointment), and some bugs in the bathroom and trash bin. I also hope they will provide hand towels.
With the low rate however, it was still a good deal.
