The security was too focused on asking if you already have a room and wouldnt allow you to reach the front desk first. Only 1 dilapidated elevator was working. The hallway was poorly lit and smelled like old wood. The room was ill kept. Stains on bedsheets and sofa sets like an old sweaty guy stayed there overnight. Disgusting. No complimentary water. Tv was too small and far away from the beds. It too was worn out. No water heater. Bathroom ceiling is full of stains. Trash cans had no linings. Employees were complaining of poor management and were sharing thoughts of quitting their jobs to guests. No hotel supervisor / manager present during daytime. No housekeeping present during night time. Pool was tiny. Far cry from pictures advertised. Pool area had a bar area that was falling apart and even the shower room was not functional. Wifi was zilch. This hotel should be condemned. You're better off with clean motels in the area. Not your money's worth. Attached pics of stains on ceilings, walls, and bedsheets.

The worst hotel ever i booked in Agoda. Staff is inconsiderate inefficient, and rude. No wifi/ internet. Shower heater wasn’t working. No complimentary drinks available when i came in the room, I had to ask for it. No slippers for guest. And They dont inform before hand the charges They Charge 1000 per extra person per room and another 1000 for liquor corkage. There’s no manager/supervisor to attend our needs and to address our concern Doesn’t feel a guest at all. Room doesn’t even have coffee and toiletries for godsake!! Avoid the stress and hassle DO NOT EVER BOOK HERE!

Very good view of the city from all of its rooms. Clean with kitchen utensils, bath tub and air-conditioning on all rooms. Complete utility for bathing and sleeping. Comfy queen sized beds and nice living room with LCD TV and cable connection.

Huge rooms, single unit aircon which able to accommodate the whole room.. only provide 2 small bottle water, no mini bar, wifi connection is bad, minimal toiletries. They dont provide room service but there's Starbucks & 711 is just downstairs. Required to deposit 4000 peso, which i dont know what's it for as they dont have any mini bar or room service.

Ok.... All the negative reviews have merit. Got a room with no hot water. Offered another room but some of the lights were not working, decided to brave the cold water shower after all that. Towels were not fit for using for everyday rags, they were probably the original towels when this hotel opened and im sure that was a very long time ago.I noticed the renovation from my last stay about 7 years ago but again it seems that maintaining the renovated look stopped not following up on repairs or needed maintenance. There were coffee cups but no coffee maker. You just get the impression that the management does not care to address the issues or reviews that are mentioned. BTW they send a security guard to check out my issues with the hot water. That should give you an idea with what you can expect if you decide to stay in this hotel. Lobby also has a very bad musky smell,

Had booked some friends here and had a chance to observe the place which is quite good. Complete amenities for kitchen and bath. Cable tv, cellphone signal and good views of Tomas Morato strip completes it. They have very near convenience store plus a mini mall of il terrazo is just a block away.

Imperial Palace is like many hotels in the Philippines , aging a little bit and showing its signs of that without a lot of re investment in updating. I had a king suite and the room was very large like a small one bedroom apartment. Older furniture but comfortable. Ok Bed was comfortable , AC very cold and shower was big and had two shower heads. For the price it was just fine . Cons - no restaurant , hot water maker in room but no coffee . Pool on the roof has seen better days . Bring your own bottled water. Starbucks adjoins the Hotel so it’s not an issue. 7 - 11 right beside the hotel also , so that’s convenient. Many restaurants across the street and a mall within 100 yards so very adequate and safe area. For the price and location I give the hotel a thumbs up . Staff accommodating and very pleasant. 👍 if your looking for a pleasant and clean Filipino type room and comfortable stay it is just fine.
