The location is ok, near Araneta Center. The rooms are clean but they are quite small. The service is fast and we were able to check-in immediately. The only negative thing here is their lobby. It's very dull and uninviting.

There are lots of budget hotels/hostels in/around Cubao QC but Mariposa Budget Hotel Cubao is a little-discovered nice/comfortable property by Aurora Blvd next to SM Save-More Supermarket. Very quite and lobby/rooms nicely done (though I don't understand why there is big-mirror next to your bed!). Current rates are PHP1200/24-hours (much less than next-door SOGO is charging, PHP1500/24-hours), including continental breakfast delivered to your room in the morning. Water pressure strong (that if you don't control water-flow, the shower floor gets flooded!). They have all-channels Cable/wifi (though signal is poor inside room, you have to work in hallway) in room and lobby. Property is so closed to Gateway Mall/Ali Mall/Araneta Coliseum/Center, & Farmers Market. They still don't a live reservation online but you can call Mel or Vhen directly to confirm reservation, not always full house anyways. I stayed only one-night as shopping stop-over before flying nextday back to Honolulu, next time I will stay longer to enjoy Cubao shopping and maybe see a good basketball game at Araneta C.

Hi.... if you are new to Manila and just arrived at the Aquino Airport..... hotels near the Airport and in the nearby areas are costly and the taxi driver tends to overcharge. It is worth the cab ride to get to this hotel in Quezon City. Trust me it's 10 times better than near the Airport.

Entrance: Not convenient because it was to narrow to accommodate for more customers who want to book.
Elevator: Again, it's to narrow to accommodate customers but it was well maintained..
Rooms: Excellent rating for a short time hotel. Neat and clean.....

Stayed here in the week as Manila was hit by a typhoon and we lost power in our house. Room was small and clean and free internet was not good as it kept dropping off. Biggest concern was the bed that was as hard as marble with badly fitting sheets that exposed the cold mattress after a bit of tossing and turning. But the pillows were like giant tampons and again super hard with no softness at all so ended up with a bad night’s sleep and a stiff neck. For the price the hotel is value for money but better take your own pillow…..

This hotel is small and you may miss it because its hiding besides Hotel Selenna. This hotel is nicer compared to the hotels nearby. The rooms are small but the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are clean. The hotel is well kept overall. The parking though is near impossible especially during peak hours. You have to park beside the hotel. The 3 hour short time is 450 which is relatively more expensive compared to hotels in Cubao but is cleaner and nicer.

For what you pay for, the rooms are very decent. Small but with good amenities. It brings a bit of class to otherwise rugged adventures. Parking is limited but available. an improvement point would be too much open waiting area. So stay in your car while waiting for the room keys.

Stayed in a mega room. Nicely fixed room with an attempt to not make it look like a love hotel, though it is. Pillows are probably cut from old worn out mattresses and it's hard. Bring your own pillow. Toilet is ok. Water pressure is fine. Though hot water is not consistent. Cheap price. What makes it better than sogo is that you get windows.
