Tldr. It's always worth it to pay for premium.

The good
Check in was alright but a bit stringent on the time. The room has android TV so we have lots of things to watch. Lobby was very chic and unique. They have a very large gym, complete with all the equipment you will need and more. We paid our king room on a discount at agoda. Our room has a bathtub and I think even standard rooms have one as well.

The bad
Drilling noises during the day, so if you're looking to sleep during daylight, this is not the hotel for you.
Amenities in the room are lacking. Only 2 towels that are available. No water glasses on the bathroom sink. Not enough toiletries to use for bathing.
Breakfast options are very limited. Only 4 silog options, and bland coffee. Apparently, my partner noticed that servings for those who pay for their food are given more servings than those who get the breakfast included in their hotel stay. We were given about half a serving of our viands.
Hallway decor feels like you're in a condo and not in a hotel. Might as well pay for an Airbnb room with the same ambiance for less.

The hotel has a lot of potential to be really good, but right now, 2 years after its opening, it still has A LOT to improve on. Like I said to my partner, this hotel looks like an upscale version of hotel sogo.

Or maybe this hotel wasn't for us to begin with. In that case, no need to change. It's true when they say, you get what you pay for.

Saw this on social media and booked a 2-night stay. You know those expectations ve reality memes? Yeah. Booked a king size room with breakfast, 2 nights for around 5k, very affordable.

The Good: the room is quite spacious. It’s clean and bright. I especially love the tub as it’s big. Very comfortable if you want to relax. Staff were nice.

The Bad: it was a bit chaotic when we checked in. Considering there were only 3 people (including me) who were at the counter. We were also informed that there were no towels available in the rooms as delivery got delayed. Imagine that. A hotel without towels. I’ve stayed in a lot of budget hotels but this is the first time I’ve encountered this. We were told to use the bath robes instead. The robe we got, however, was not clean and had some strands of residual hair from whoever previously used it. We had to ask for a new one - specifically unused. Breakfast was okay. Not a lot of options. Coffee they served was bland.

The Ugly: unfinished. There were unfinished and unpolished spots inside the room. The windows were not clean, still had construction marks. Some parts of the wall in our room had paint bubbles. The lobby also had some mosquitoes/insects.

This hotel has a lot of potential. I think overtime they’d still be able to improve if they listen to their guest’s feedback.

Honest feedback:
It was cheap. The room was worth it, it has a bathtub, may netflix and youtube, you can work and may couch. Sobrang ganda for a 2900 price. Pillows din hindi tinipid. Lobby was enticing, ang bango at grabe ung design. As in, I’ve not seen anything like it.

However, walang robes, isang bathroom necessities lang, btw tatlo kami 2 adults and a kid.
Yung customer service nila and receptionist nila hindi accommodating. Parang andon lang sila to work but they seemed to look like they are tired of working there.

May room service sa hallway na naabutan ko when I was going out, tapos sabe ko pwede makahingi ng isa pang shampoo kasi tatlo kami. And then he “sighed” and said “mamaya po” sabe ko okay.

Yung bfast silog meals ok lang naman. Pero walang ibang option. Tatlo lang. Tapos hindi din accommodating staff sa cafe nila. Also when we wanted to eat there halos walang available sa menu. Bibili ka ng shake dahil wala daw yelo. And naghihintay na kami ng order for 40 mins to wait for that.

Sayang tong hotel na to ang ganda sana pero hindi maayos yung mga staff and yung mga bagay na I mentioned. Sayang, sana maimprove sya and manage ng maayos na management. It looks like di to natututukan.

We were skeptical and hesitant considering the reviews I read here and other sites. I sent an email to request our reservation to be cancelled and refunded but was told that our reservation is not eligible for cancellation. We proceeded with low expectation but we end up leaving at 10pm in our pajamas. We cut short our 2 nights stay and decided to go home after I saw a small cockroach in the shower room while taking a bath. When we checked in we saw a dead cockroach in the hallway and its still there when we left considering that the housekeeping personnel pass by the hallway twice when we requested for a tissue roll and floor towel. The hallway floor also looks dirty 😔.

We booked the suite room the biggest room they have. It was clean but not spotless, the bed was not comfortable at all. They have 2 smart tv in the room so its nice that we get to watch netflix during our stay but they only provided one remote and we had to request for extension because the tv placed in front of the bed does not have an electric socket available, we moved the tv against the wall to avoid any accidents because we have 2 kids with us. It was placed in an odd position but I think its more on giving an option for guest to lay down in the bed while watching.

All the sockets are hard to use, we cant plug in our chargers. The sound proofing was nice tho, its along EDSA but we barely hear the vehicles from the highway.

The bidet was leaking but they are prompt to send the maintenance to repair upon reporting it. We had to call to request to tissue roll when we arrived as there are no tissue provided in the restroom. Toiletries provided are cheap but considering the rate of the rooms its okay.

We went out to have lunch on our 2nd day but no housekeeping came to clean and refill drinking water. Our kids did not get the chance to try the indoor pool because it was under renovation, the kiddie pool is open but it was very small and the vibe was gloomy. We were told we can use the outdoor pool at the 10th floor which I think part of the residential area facility, the walkway was blocked with a plywood and the vibe was so creepy. Our kids just took advantage of the tub in the room.

They don't have room service and only serve plated breakfast so we did not bother to go down to eat breakfast.

The lobby was aesthetic and have a chic vibe, the staff were very nice and polite. When we checked out at 10pm and reported the cockroach the manager was very apologetic and polite and I hope they can do something to improve the service and the facilities.

The place is not really a hotel, its more on an AirBnB for 5k per night we can already get an AirBnB with fill equip kitchen and pool access.

I wont recommend this “hotel” go spend your money elsewhere

I must say my whole stay exceeded expectation

I was reluctant to book at first with all the not so good reviews here and else where but I must admitt the VS Hotel was worth it.

Booked the Suite room, it was huge. All of my friends commented on how big it was. Saying that a space like that would cost an arm and a leg elsewhere.

There was no foul smell in the room but housekeeping does not clean your room everyday unless you escalate it to the front desk.

Speaking of frontdesk, I would like to give my commendation to Ban, who assisted me and addressed my concern during my 3 nights stay in VS Hotel.

Aircon was good, Internet was fast at times and not working on other times. Good water pressure and polite staff.

I was able to eat at their restsurant, the food was great. Only toured the amenities, a lot of professional atheletes go there.

So in conclusion, I can safely say my stay was good. Room for imptovement. But definitely not as bad as others have experienced.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. Front office staffs are helpful and accommodating especially one from the housekeeping team Joel who did a very good job on assisting us on all are needs and the wow factor for our anniversary. Thank you Joel and VS Hotel team for taking good care of us. We appreciate all your efforts. Until next time, we will stay and recommend to our families and friends.

July 29-30 weekend stay

Terrible hotel

Elevator faulty when we checked in. We need to use stairs from parking level to level 9 (hotel lobby). Nobody even advise or guide us downstairs that there ia another elevator at the other side.

Most of the amenities advertised were “members” priority for reservations like tennis court and etc…

Bowling, water spa and others were also under renovation yet nobody inform us. Same day, if you check the online booking for that day, they never state the unavailability of those amenities. It is a total scam!!

We booked 5 rooms for the weekends. And… non of the rooms where given a basic toiletries. Like totally nothing.

Aircon room dripping water as well. No wifi!!

Not even a single compensation given 🙄

To be fair to the ground staff, they were all accomodating.

Terrible experience! Not recomended

The Suite room was very spacious , cozy and elegant interior but all the sofa was very dirty . I took a pictures of it upon entering. No towels inside the room . 1 key card will be given , you have to request for duplicate . Shared elevator for sports facility users that it causes too much time going up and down the UG and hotel lobby. Aircon in our room was not able to get the room cold enough . Accommodating staff.

Don't book here! Worst hotel, worst management!!!! They will magically impose charges and they will not show proof or any documentation what's the fee for. They'll give you nonsense explanation. You'll end up paying more. They will charge you even for taking photos within the facility. Better book somewhere else!!!!
