It's certainly not a hotel to relax but a still a gem in Katipunan for overnight stay. The room and toilet are small. Air condition is manual.. all the great facilities you wanted is not here but they made it up with their services. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you are need to travel within Katipunan and escape the traffic, this is hotel you may rely on.
This is the 3rd time we stayed and it gets even better. All the staff are great! Hospitable..excelkent service. Our beds and pillows are super comfortable. Breakfast needs improvement. Need more varieties. Need more fruits. This hotel is so close to Ateneo de Manila..accross gate 3. Plenty of restaurant. We will always stay at this hotel when we are around Katipunan Rd. This place is reasonably price. We highly recommend this place.
There are obvious faults/imperfections when it comes Oracle. But let me tell you something: we had the most amazing wedding reception at their hotel. Who knew! :) But one thing I could never be able to overstate - their staff's ability to go the extra mile (special shout out to Ms. Ivy Banal). Awesome food too :)
Every summer, I have my Masteral class just in front of a big University and I can't think of another hotel after my first stay here. Staffs are great and they helped me one time to print and scan one urgent document for my visa due early next day. Thanks Oracle staffs!
Although this is not a four star hotel we had a comfortable accomodation and very close to Ateneo de Manila where our son is on a study abroad program. The staff are super great especially Ian and Ana. All the staff even the security guard made us feel safe ..whatever problem we encountered e.g. Water not draining in the shower room, the staff solve it right away. We will be going back nect month (may 2016) and we will be staying at Oracle again. I will take some pictures that time. The only thing, there are no windows in the room. We will have breakfast included this time. Free wifi and free parking!
Although this is not a 4 star hotel, Oracle, through its major effort to provide a clean and comfortable room and its extremely helpful and hospitable staff performs above its level. This affordable hotel was perfect for us because of its proximity to Ateneo de Manila and the good eating and shopping available in the Katipunan/Loyola Heights area. One thing though, there is no window in the room. Whatever problem we encountered e.g. water not draining in the shower room, the staff solve it right away. Great Staff! We will be going back in May 2016 and will stay for 3 nights. I will share photos after our stay in May.
I stayed here during my first days in the Philippines before finding a condo. What I can say is that the prices are a little expensive for the service quality... There is no window in most of the rooms, and the breakfast isn't included in the price, most of the time. The room itself was comfortable and okay, and the wifi was well working. It is in the middle of Katipunan Avenue so quite convenient and surrounded by anything you can need there.
This hotel is just ok. I stayed one night only in their basic room for a work event. We were advised there are no windows in most rooms but I was still surprised at hoe claustrophobic the room was. Hot water goes on and off, aircon was also quite dirty. Room isn't dirty, but it also isn't the cleanest. Thankful i had the room to myself, would have been quite cramped with 2 people since there is no bedside table, only a table at the foot of the bed.
Stayed at their 2-bedroom room overnight with friends and we were generally ok with their service but we had a few concerns: 1) Room was advertised for 4 pax but the amenities in the room were only good for 2 pax. We had to ask for extras (linens, plates, utensils, cups and glasses) but initially was told that the room we booked was only for 2 pax. Thus, we need to pay extra fees for the additional items. But eventually they agreed to provide extra linens only for free after we insisted that the room was advertised for 4. 2) The room had an en-suite pantry but we had to request for an extension cord to use the appliances as it was not readily available upon check-in. 3) 2-bedroom room has only 1 toilet and bath. Others might get a little bit turn off but most of the staff…
The service was superb, all the staff and trainees are very helpful and attentive. They always ask us what else we need to feel satisfied and comfortable within our stay. We are full to those greets and smiles everytime they see us. The rooms are well cleaned and maintained. The foods are good, its a plus that they have a Japanese resto within the bldg. Very accessible to many restaurants and universities. Perfect hotel in QC, Philippines!
