Checking in solo in this hotel was a lifesaver! Overnight rate (10 hours for only P480.) was a great deal, rather than taking the risk of travelling alone at past midnight, wake up early and get back to Cubao Araneta Center again the next morning. The small clean and tidy room was good enough with free toiletries, fresh towels, pillows and blanket and a big 32-inch flat TV. And, oh yes, there was hot shower, too!

5 day stay, when return from each day out the staff would call our room and say 20 minutes to leave and we have to correct staff every day. In 5 day's stay the room was not cleaned just only bed sheets changed once and new towels only given once. Toiletries had to be requested. Exposed wires next to bed, speakers for Tv I had to rewire myself for sound. Shower was in disrepair as well as the light above bed. Small Cockroachs seen in room. When we ordered food and drinks, wrong drinks brought to room. Will never stay there again.

I use to stay with this hotel because of cleanliness and their staff's prompt response whenever you need / ask for something. They are always there to assist you. The sorrounding environment is not very pleasant as you walk going to the hotel because its very crowded, and its one of the busiest area in quezon city but its also beneficial to the hotel itself because its one of the cheapest yet has cleanest rooms compared to other hotels/motels nearby. The only problem I had with this hotel is when I book through a 3rd party website called travelbook.ph, I called twice 3-4 days to make sure the hotel had my booking but when I arrive they can not find my reservation. I waited about 20-30mins just for them to find my res. I was even informed by one of the managers(i think he was a mgr due to his attire) not to book with travelbook and book it directly with them instead and they will give me discount that I am getting with TB. Overall I am still happy with this hotel. There might be some problem/issue you might encounter with them but they are doing a lot of improvements to satisfy every customer. I still choose this hotel other than hotels nearby with its price range.

This place is affordable! The free WiFi and international calls are great! It is a wonderful add-on to the perks of staying there. Since I have family in the U.S., it was convenient and inexpensive for me.

Hotel Sogo cubao is one of my fave hotels. I feel like home whenever i go here. The staff are friendly and cordial. Their rooms are not so luxurious, but they are comfortable. I can sleep well, and the sircons are functioning well too. As you know, i came from The cold city of Baguio, so i need a cold place, and i find it in sogo. When in manila, go to sogo.

The hotels' surprisingly clean. They really live up to their company slogan. Their receptionist works fast too even though she's the only one manning the reception. We got our room key in less than 5 minutes. They also have friendly staffs. They will greet you and assist you once they see you. The room we had was the Executive Room. The lights were dim inside but the room is spacious enough for two. Everything else in the hotel was narrow like their elevator, the hallways, etc. but they're all clean and spotless. For a hotel much branded for "SAW" purposes, it's very clean I must say. But of course, you'll understand why Sogo is branded that way because they have porn channels on their tv, mirrors on top of the bed and beside it. But overall, it is a very clean hotel with friendly staff. Complete room facilities like tv, air-conditioning, towels, hair dryer, small table and chairs and a bathroom kit. My fiancé and I had a nice stay there during our trip.

This place is not a hotel, its a rundown, dirty noisy building with hourly rates for people to bring hookers for fun :/ The decor is old and dirty, the towels were wafer thin and off white because they been used so much. The Wi-Fi did not work for the 2 days I were here. The noise is crazy, porters radios blasting at full volume 24 hours a day, no care about people sleeping, trolleys being banged around all night - this is NOT a fun place to stay. I could keep going but I guess by now you are already clicking to look for another hotel, well look at Fernandina or even Eurotel if you are on a budget. Just avoid here! management really need to rethink the business model for this so called hotel/knocking shop!
