Grass Residence is a great place to stay in Quezon City because it’s a self-contained condominium that offer is just about everything a tourist would need for their first time in Manila.
So long as you choose an appropriately sized room with an appropriately sized bed you should have no issues here. Some rooms are one bedroom and some rooms have multiple bedrooms. Prices can range anywhere from $15 per day to $40 per day. Wealthy Filipinos purchase these condos in order to live in or to rent them out.

There are six pools: 24 young children, two for older children and two for adults. There is a basketball court. There is a small gym. There is a laundromat. There are some restaurants on the premises.

The grass residence is close to Trinoma mall and you can walk to several dozen different stores for necessary every day items. There are also some schools nearby and public transportation as well.
The facilities are modern with elevators in the buildings, water delivery and many other services.
This is one of my favorite destinations in Manila.
It’s good for couples, business travel, personal vacation and any other situation where you would need to rent an apartment or condo for multiple weeks at a time.

The GRASS RESIDENCES may be the best possible place to stay in Quezon City if you are:
#1 Not trying to spend a tremendous amount of money. Fees per night range from $15 - $50
#2 Want plenty of amenities to feel "at home".
#3 Will be here for a long time in Manila.
This venue is basically a relatively new construction where people buy units and then live in them or rent them out. The units are mostly one bedroom studio apartments, but there are 2 and 3 bedroom apartments here as well. Those will run close to $50 a night. Considering everything you get in this location, that's actually pretty good.
Many of the other hotels in the area may have larger rooms, but they don't have kitchens. Some may have large rooms and kitchens, but no pools. You definitely will want a pool if you plan to be here during their hot months. You'll also get an airconditioner but I've noticed that most of the owners are running 4000 and 5000 BTU air conditioners in spaces where 8000 would be ideal.
My guess is that some of you reading this may be travelling here for the first time to meet a Filipina you have been talking to on Social Media so you can get acquainted better. This location has everything the two of you will need, although some of those amenities in the rooms are "small".
Before you commit, you need to check the sizes of the beds and the rooms with your individual contacts. Some have twin beds. Some have full beds. Some have queen beds and even kings. However, if you choose a Queen or King, you may lose privacy as there probably won't be a bifurcation wall in the room. The cheaper you go, the less bed size you'll get (usually).
The "kitchen" isn't huge. It's more like a kitchen counter in most cases with electric cooking elements. The fridges usually aren't that large either. Some of the newer builds have more space, 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen area, etc...but you'll pay a whole lot more for that. If you plan on being here a while, just make sure there is a kitchen and then go to the market and buy utensils that you don't have.
BEFORE YOU COMMIT, make sure you check with the owner to make sure you know what is included and what isn't included.

The mall has a movie theater, its own gym and if you walk a little further, there are connecting malls with even more stores and arcades.
The facilities are modern with elevators in the buildings, water delivery and many other services.
This is one of my favorite destinations in Manila. The other: THE GRAND OPERA HOTEL in downtown Manila.
It’s good for couples, business travel, personal vacation and any other situation where you would need to rent an apartment or condo for multiple weeks at a time.
I personally enjoyed this venue enough to want to return to it if I return to Manila this July. I already know what I'll be getting and I already understand what to expect.
There are some pleasant surprises such as the cook outs they have where vendors bring food and trinkets to sell near the pool area - and there are BBQ nights.
My recommendation is that you go to one of the street shopping areas in downtown Manila for things you need instead of the mall since it'll be cheaper and you'll be helping the mom&pop vendors.
Mercury Drugs isn't far away if you need to buy birth control.
The grocery stores are close and there's plenty to eat.
