Had the longest stay in a hotel at Fersal.I love the fact that they consistently clean the rooms everyday and change the beddings and towels. Nice location too. It is near the Heart Center, McDonalds, BPI, Quezon City Hall and Quezon Memorial Circle. I had wonderful memories here and super fun socials where the hotel provided the cocktails.

Nothing to shout about but it's reasonably clean, with clean sheets, working air-con though a bit noisy, with free wi-fi and good service staff. Good breakfast selection though a bit slow because its cooked fresh. A bit out of the way but with excellent selection of local and international restaurants nearby including McDs, Starbucks and Shakeys.

I stayed here while visiting family for the first time in the Philippines. It was conveniently located in the same neighborhood as my family. It is really easy to get a taxi to and from here or if you are more adventurous, using the "Tricycle" to get around. I stayed for a few nights, then traveled around and came back to stay a few nights later. Both stays felt safe, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and has all the amenities you would need. They have a fridge, free coffee, hair dryer, safe, aircon, free water bottles and also offer room service. Bring your own shampoo and soap, I don't think they provided those, although I could be wrong. I don't remember because I used my own. I got in really late one night and felt safe coming in as a woman traveling alone. The air con is great, the windows have drapes to darken the room if you need sleep, looks modern and updated. Room service brought my free breakfast up to the room one morning which was fantastic! You can order anything from their breakfast menu for free during your stay (every morning). Front desk people are pleasant and speak English well. There is always a doorman or someone outside to call you a taxi. There is a Mc Donalds (or Mac Do if you are Filipino :) just down the street, if you are into fast food, you can walk there. Also its close walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Don't get run over while you walk in the middle of the street like all Filipinos do.

On the down side, there was some construction going on next door to the building. So it was loud early in the morning (around 7am). I was already up at that time so it didn't bother me. Also sometimes I could hear people being noisy in the hall ways at random times. But nothing too major. There aren't very many outlets in the room to plug things in. The bathroom shower tiles are a bit moldy in places but it didn't feel unclean.

Its better than a Motel 6 but not the Marriot. Somewhere in between. It was perfect for me and I enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again.

About 2 weeks ago I booked an overnight stay to this hotel for my parents for their convenience after my father's out-patient medical procedure in Philippine Heart Center. The location of the hotel was really near the hospital and since we leave in the near by province, I think it won't be convenient for my father to travel after his procedure. I booked online and since there is a field in agoda saying, something like "Are you booking for someone else?" Then there is a field to type the name of the person who will stay in the hotel. So I wrote my father's name. I used my credit card to book the hotel. It so happen that my father is still not done in the hospital at past 2pm so my mom and I decided to checkin so that we could rest (I haven't sleep because my work is night shift) and just go back to the hospital once my father is done with the procedure. I have the printed voucher, my id and my credit card presented to the reception, but they refused to give us the room because they insisted that my father's name is written in the voucher, as the person who will stay in the hotel. I tried to explain that my dad is still in the hospital and is waiting for the doctor to arrive while he is already in the room for procedure. And since it is I who booked the hotel, and they even saw that I am the credit card holder, I tried to plead to make this as an exception. But they hard-heartedly refused and repeatedly replied that it's a hotel policy. They even instructed me to go back to the hospital and have my father sign an authorization letter. They didn't accept my reason that my father is already isolated for the procedure. I also ask the receptionist if I may speak to their manager to explain the situation but they refused. Then suddenly, they are giving me an option. They wanted to swipe my card and deposit an amount equivalent to the 1 night rate. And if my father was not able to come, then they will charge the said amount. I didn't agree because I was not certain what time the doctor will arrive and I donľ like the idea that they will charge me double if everything fails. So I left my mom in the lobby and I went back to the hospital and waited until my father is done. Fortunately after around 20min, the procedure is done and I went to the hotel with him. I really think that they are very incosiderate. I really felt bad that they treated us like this. I will never book again in this hotel.

The hotel is good located near many restaurants and various shops.
The room I was assigned was not worth the PHP 2750 per day I paid for that; it was small (especially the bathroom) and the furniture was a bit old and worn out. However the room equipment was complete (safe, sleepers, thooth brush and paste, free wifi) and bed was comfortable. If you need thiner/thicker pillows you can ask at the reception.
Breakfast was also not bad and varied: you can choose between filipino or other types of breakfast.
Even if a bit overpriced, all in all the hotel is not that bad and could be a good option if only the rates were more appropriate.
Unfortunately I will not choose to stay there again for two episodes that I found really unpleasant: I arrived at the hotel at 8:30 am and, since check-in time is 2:00 p.m., I was asked to pay around 1400 PHP. A little bit pricy, but it's okay to pay an extra charge for early check-in. What was not ok, in my opinion, is that since on the last day my departure would have been before the breakfast time, I asked the receptionist if I could have my breakfast on the arrival day instead of check-out day, but the answer was no. I don't know if it's management's policy or a decision of the receptionist on shift at that moment, but this was really unaccettable, especially because they also wanted me to pay extra for early check-in.
Second episode: the night before my departure I asked the receptionist to book me a taxi to the airport. Everything was quickly arranged and she asked me to pay the taxi fee directly to her. On the following morning, only few hours later, I brought all my suitcases downstair and approached the front desk for check-out. In the meantime the porter took my luggages and put them in the taxi standing in front of the entrance. I got in the taxi and, right after leaving the hotel, the driver told me I had to pay 50 PHP in addition to the normal price because I had lots of luggages. I answered that I had already set the payment to the hotel, but he insisted he had received no money from them, so I asked him immediately to drive back to the hotel. When I asked the receptionist to clarify the situation, she seemd not to remeber that I booked a taxi with her few hours before. After checking in a notebook she simply told me that my taxi was still on the way and that the one I took was not my taxi. If it was not, I wonder why the porter placed all my suitcases inside and made me get on that taxi.
Fortunately the misunderstanding didn't cause any harm as the driver immediately began speaking about money, but if it hadn't been so, I would have had to pay again for the taxi once arrived at the airport.
Bad service...

The place is so neat, rooms are simply great! Staff are courteous, 24hr room service, splendid service. Rooms are amazingly affordable and at par with other neighboring hotels, within this great area. With free breakfast, you couldn't ask for more, just a simple reason for me to return every now and then. Our office also frequents Fersal hotel everytime we come in delegation or individually due to its proximity, not only to our central office but as well prime malls and to-go places, and i believe other regional offices as well. I can see that the hotel is also near public utility terminals which makes it ideal for those travelling outbounds. I can say that it is indeed recommendable to our families, friends, relatives, officemates, and barkadas this great hotel which i consider home away from home.

I have lived in the Philippines for over two years. I have stayed in or visited friends staying in many hotels in the Metro Manila area. When friends from America visit in the past I have steered them to the Fersal Hotel Malakas Diliman. In fact I am now back in America but when I visit I will be booking with this hotel. And now let me tell you why.......

The pricing is extremely competitive for a place with rooms as good or better than most American Hotels in the 300 dollar range. For under a hundred dollars you are getting good value here. If you contact them you might even get better deals for long stays. The location is very underrated. You are close to Trinoma Mall which means you are close to the MRT's North Station. Plus Trinoma and SM North were always my favorite malls. The building itself is very close to a McDonalds, and 711. Of course if you need to go to the Philippine Heart Center it is the best place. It is not hard to get a cab from here and it is a short walk to the jeepney. The neighborhood is not unfit in anyway as at least one other review I read stated. That is completely false and shortsighted. The one knock on this place is some people do not like their breakfast but you are getting a very clean room which is hard to come by in the Philippines sometimes. The rooms are very spacious with a nice refrigerator and tv. Bathrooms are excellent. Location is quiet.

Simply put this place is value and the rooms are beautiful! If you like you can read my other reviews of Philippine locations. As you will see I am not easy on some locations. One only has to read my review of Taal Volcano to realize that as I found that trip to be absolutely horrid.

Love the value, the rooms, and location is closed to Trinoma! Great stay!

Super service from the manager Maam Sally, Receptionists Camille and Pauline, Housekeeping Inday, Judie, Glenn, Adrain and Arnold also to Jenny and Joy of Inn Cafe. Being in Metro most of the times is normal for me. But being stocked-up at late night in it is not. When you are not expecting an overnight but you have to meet the need to stay overnight, without prepared cash to pay for it, then Fersal Hotel is the answer! I am alone but I'm not bothered. Wifi connection and free breakfast are good. The only thing I think that needs improvement is the way of communicating to them. It took me hard to call the receptionist and the resto. But if your option is to save this one is still OK. :)
