Arrived at the hotel at 5pm due to bad traffic and was told that our room was not ready, questioned about the check in time was stated to be at 2pm, sounds ridiculous that even at 5pm we were told that the room was not ready, they offered us a temporary room to wash up first as we told them that we are rushing for an event. Then later they brought us to our room and to our horror there were cockroaches coming out from the fridge! The hotel room is not clean either. Made a call to the front desk and they changed our room. Again, the towel and blanket has stained. Really disgusting to use and sleep in. Hotel is not clean either, floors and corners and toilet has mold as well. Towel has a weird smell too. This hotel is only near smart arenata - but i guess you could find better hotels around this area to get to the event place. Please do not stay this hotel.

The Red Hotel Cubao, Quezon City is a modern hotel in Quezon Manila and the reception located on level 5. I have stayed here previously, and unfortunately it has gone down in its standards. Housekeeping has become fairly poor, and if you don't actually call reception and tell them to send housekeeping, they won't even arrive to clean. Also they informed me that housekeeping doesn't start until 3pm, which is ridiculous that your room is left unmade for the majority of the day. That is a very poor standard at any hotel. Then when they clean the rooms it's a bit of a hit miss depending on what day and what staff do it. The 1st 2 days there was no hot water and when I rang downstairs at reception and asked they said run the water for 1 to 2 hours and it will get hot. Like seriously! What an absolute waste of water. And again, displaying poor customer service as there was no compensation offered The basic rooms don't have any windows but this didn't bother me and there is ample lighting inside the room, also some tea and coffee making facilities, a safe, a small shelf with a couple of coat hangers and a large LCD TV with some English-speaking channels on it. There are no barfridges provided in the rooms at this hotel. The bathroom has reasonably good lighting and the shower has reasonably good water pressure. The amenities supplied are not very good and I would recommend that you use your own. There is an onsite restaurant and also an imdoor swimming pool.  the hotel only supplies 2 thin pillows for a double bed, and if you ask for extra pillows i have another appalling and friendly customer policy with i want to charge you could pillar every night for additional pillows. How disgraceful and just miserly penny pinching. This hotel has terrible policies that need to be removed and made more customer friendly. Have never seen a hotel anywhere in the world the charges for extra pillows and at the price the charge per pillow per night, you can easily go to the supermarket and buy your own pillows, which is what i did. What day in absurd customer unfriendly policy! The hotel There's plenty of shops and fast food outlets and fast food outlets around it and there is 2 shopping mall is 2 shopping malls and the railway station the railway station, a market and plenty of retail outlets. When you can get this hotel at a discounted price it is quite good value for money, however, when the prices are inflated due to demand I would certainly look elsewhere. The check out process is a joke. It's one of the slowest in the industry anywhere in the world. People come down at check out time, and it is absolute chaos. It is disorganised and is an absolute mess. Staff ask you to wait 5 to 10 minutes, which is no big deal while they check the room, they then have everyone sit around cluttering up the lobby and it takes them about half an hour to check your room and check you out. Very poor and unnecessary.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation and commendation for the exceptional service provided by Mr. Norbi, a banquet waiter at your esteemed establishment. During my recent 5-day business activities at Red Hotel, I had the pleasure of experiencing numerous positive encounters, including the cleanliness of the rooms and public areas, as well as the courteous and helpful front office staff. However, it was Mr. Norbi's outstanding service during the dinner at the function room that truly stood out. Mr. Norbi went above and beyond his duties as a banquet waiter. Not only did he efficiently serve our food, but he also demonstrated a remarkable commitment to ensuring our utmost satisfaction. He took the initiative to anticipate our needs and promptly addressed them, providing a pitcher for our soda and assisting us throughout the meal. His attentiveness and resourcefulness were truly commendable. In addition to his exemplary service, Mr. Norbi embodied the qualities of an exceptional waiter at Red Hotel. He displayed a respectful and cheerful demeanor, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. His professionalism and dedication were evident in every interaction, and his commitment to providing a memorable dining experience was truly commendable. It is employees like Mr. Norbi who contribute significantly to the reputation and success of Red Hotel. His exceptional service, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests truly enhanced my stay. I believe that his dedication and commitment deserve recognition from the management and the entire team at Red Hotel. Once again, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Norbi for his exceptional service. I hope that his commendable efforts will be acknowledged and celebrated within your organization. Red Hotel can take great pride in having such a remarkable individual as part of its team. Thank you for providing an exceptional experience, and I look forward to future visits to Red Hotel.

We booked for an overnight stay. The standard check in time is 2pm and check out time is 12 noon. We expect that when we come in we can rest immediately because we came from an 8-hr trip. We arrived at 5pm and we have to wait 2 hours before we were given a room!!! Never again to book in Red Hotel!

This is my second stay in Red hotel. We booked Twin Deluxe and the room is clean and has complete kits such as soap, shower gel and shampoo. They also have a dental kit so that is a plus. The hotel has good water pressure and has modern lighting from the bed. There is luggage closet however they are generous with their hangers. Bed is nice and comfy for the price. Air-conditioning is also good for the room size. Wifi is sufficient. Overall this is a good hotel for something that is clean and accessible in Araneta Center. Skip the buffet breakfast and eat in the many restaurants in the area. Cons: long waiting time for check-in and check-out, limited cable channels

The Red Hotel Cubao is a modern hotel located in Quezon City and it is close to shopping malls & 7-Eleven.  The check-in reception is located up on the 5th floor so when you went to the building you take the lift to the fifth floor where you will then approach the reception desk and check-in The rooms are a reasonable size and are modem with modern lighting however some of the rooms are provided with no window so if this bothers you you should check this when making your booking. The check-in process is slow as is their housekeeping is extremely poor as everyday the room is never made up before 5 or 6 p.m. and on one of the days my room was never made up at all despite me asking for it to be done and calling down to reception twice advising it's still hadn't been done. They also have a poor policy of requesting a 1000 Peso deposit, but there is no point in this as there is no bar fridge, no mini-bar or anything in the room that a person would take. The beds are reasonably comfortable and they only provide two pillows, and again they have a ridiculous policy if you ask for extra pillows they want to charge you 50 Peso per pillow, per night. I have never seen such an absurd policy anywhere ekse i the world. What a ridiculous unfriendly policy and quite simply it is cheaper to go to the supermarket and buy an extra pillow and pillow slip. You will save money doing that. This very poor policy is very customer unfriendly which I've never seen this anywhere in the world in any Hotel previously, and it will negatively impact on people wanting to stay here. There is a 40 inch LCD TV with a limited selection of English speaking channels and there is a safe, a small table and 2 chairs, tea and coffee making facilities, some flimsy poor quality slippers and bottked water is provided. The bathrooms are a reasonable size and have good lighting however they only provide a small bar of poor quality soap and a very small container of shampoo.  The shower has excellent water pressure but unfortunately there is no real hot water at the very best you get after letting the tap run for a few minutes is lukewarm water. There is a hotel swimming pool located on the 5th floor which is fairly confined and doesn't really get any daylight and therefore no one seems to use it much. Overall I found the rooms to be comfortable and reasonable, and I would have no problem staying here again, but they do need to improve vastly on their housekeeping and their in-house policies

Booked an over night stay. The room was ok. Sheets a ae bit dated and the lock box was broken But the most obvious this i´ve notice how hap hazard the room a built. Like the bathroom tiles are badly laid. The wall paper is pealing in parts and the door lock needs to replaced. The only great thing about the hotel for the price is the staff and the pool, i think it´s a salt water pool. Also, breakfast is mid. Maybe eat outside of the hotel.

1. Extremely slow internet connection (had to use my mobile data for my entire stay of 3 days) 2. The buffet breakfast is not good. The food is cold and lacks variety. 3. The check-in and check-out processes are extremely slow. 4. One of the beds in the room is creaking, and not completely laid on the floor
