When it comes to a budget friendly hotel, i am not really expecting too much but atleast stand as to what is being promoted. I went to check in past 3pm and i was surprised the room assigned to me hasn’t been cleaned yet. I requested a transfer to a lower floor. I’ve been asking for internet access because it was written upon booking. They keep on telling me there’s a connection but someone will still assist me. There was none and its not even searchable. There was also a very weak signal for Globe in the room. I just went to the lobby to use their net for 1 hour bec it was automatically disconnected after that so be ready with your data.

The room was okay & spacious though. But for me, id rather stay in an air bnb next time.

Stayed 1 night and decided not to be back again. The only advantage of this place is location and wi-fi.

Cons - broken toilet seat, no hot water in shower (but pressure is strong), old pillows, thin blankets, no tissues in room, safe not working. Elevator stopped working for half day on my check out day.

I asked for late check out but staff not flexible and could not decide. Got 1 hour but at the last minute.

I used this hotel to meet a friend thats nearby the area. I stayed at this hotel/motel for a day only .The room was soooo small. The staff are attentive. They even show adult films on their TV which is not good for travellers with kids. They have various rates from 4 hrs, 6 hrs 12 hrs and 24 stay. There's no chek in and check out time I assume, because they told me that the 24 hr stay starts the moment you check in and ends 24 hrs afterwards. You can avail of extended check out by the hour though. They offer free breakfast but they deliver it on your room. The room choices are not that much and the room spaces are almost the same. The rate/s are a bit pricey compared to other hotels around considering the amenities and the size of their room. The only consolation if I may say that you will have withthis hotel is the location. Its centrally located within araneta center. I think it used to be a moviehouse before. So much for this. Hope this will guide you.

I stayed in this hotel for a quarantine 10-nights, It's not worth a single penny to stay in this place.

The bathroom & bedroom are nasty. bed linen & towels disheveled, no toilet paper. (Lot of maintenance issues, no Air Conditioner remote inside the room always I have to call reception when I need to adjust my room AC temperature/ Tv channels it's not working properly. WiFI not working when my first day till my last day).

It looks like the management did not maintain the cleanliness of the hotel.

Especially at this time, COVID-19 more attention to the cleanliness of the hotel, as a Covid-19 quarantine Hotel Dreamworld Araneta Cubao needs to improve rooms cleanliness.

cockroaches are all over the place. Smells very nasty, i cannot imagine cockroaches will run all over my head board.

I stayed in this motel in Sep. 2010 for several days because I had some personal busines this in Cubao. This motel I was told used to be the Uniwide Department Store which is across the street from Farmers Plaza but not to be confused with Farmers Market which is one block away. Since the motel has short term rates (6 & 12 hours) it attracts many romantic couples. However I don't think they are prostitute/client couples but I could not be sure. I don't want to imply that this is a sleazy motel because there were families with children. One of the things I like about this motel is the free WiFi in the room and cable TV ( I needed to watch Bloomberg and CNN). The more expensive hotels in Makati do not have Wifi and internet is extra charge. I went for the largest suite (good for three people with free breakfast) and it cost me 3,000 pesos ($68) for 24 hours as measured from the time of check-in. The bathroom is clean but the bathtub is raised - so be careful not to slip. There is no dining facility in the motel so the free breakfast is brought to your room. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Aircon in the room works well but is very noisy. Motel seems to have a very proactive program against bug infestation because they are always fogging the common areas everyday. There are many restaurants at the Gateway Mall and Ali Mall which is just within three blocks. The light train is walking distance and the cost is just 12 pesos to Makati (Ayala Station). Train is the fastest way to travel but very crowded and I am not sure about security because I took it only once during the day. Otherwise I took the taxi to Makati and because of the heavy traffic at all hours on Edsa and the cost was about 150 pesos. Warning - Aurora Blvd is not safe at night but OK during the day.

We were looking for a budget hotel to stay for a day just to unwind. There were a couple of hotels we had in mind but since we haven't tried Eurotel, we checked in. The pictures of the rooms that were displayed outside the hotel was promising. I didn't wanna stay in a sleazy hotel so we even asked the receptionist if they were a family hotel, they said yes.

They offered 4 rooms (studio, standard, suite 1, suite 2) and being the practical traveller that we are, we chose the cheapest (Studio - PHP 1,970). Imagine our disappointment when saw our room. It was small, it was dirty, and it had SLEAZY all over it! Yes, there was a television with cable ADULT channel included! The bed sheet was so thin and had cigarette burns and had Eurotel Baguio printed all over (considering that we were checked in at Araneta). The blanket. GROSS. It was yellowish with cigarette burn and imagine my shock when I saw that there were markings indicating that it came from a hospital (my mom works in a hospital so I know what it looks like). Walls were made of wood and the wall paper was almost falling off! The aircon was so noisy as well! The toilet, it had 1 small soap and 1 roll of thin tissue. That was it.

I asked the front desk officer if we could upgrade to one of their suites but unfortunately, she said there's no room available. We waited for 5 hours to transfer to a "better" room. But to our dismay, there were no vacancies. So we had to stay at our cramped, sleazy looking room.

I'm a simple and practical traveller. I'm not hard to please. But this is one hotel that I will never go back to! Their print ads are misleading and they fail in almost all of my standards. The only good thing is that it's near the malls surrounding the area. But the location cannot even save it.

So a friendly reminder, if you want to relax in a hotel, don't choose this one, unless you have other things in mind.

Misleading information outside the hotel, promos but not true. I went with my wife for a sleep, but it was terrible.
First the bathroom was small, with no tissue and smells like urine.
2nd no control for ac,what will you fo when its cold? U cant switch off as there is no fan.
3rd i asked for an extra blanket, since what they provided is 1 piece abd too thin, well they answer i should pay 25 or 75 depends to what i choose.
Its not cheap, i paid for 1400+ for 12hours and i feel like cheated, could have just went for some cheaper motel in the area and good service.
Yes location is good, but there are some hotels nearby too like sogo or fersal. And water was leaking in the ac so the floors got wet, room 408.
Experience Europe? Oh yeah the dump side.

We decided to make a short stay in this hotel since we will watching a concert that night. We were hoping to get a room for at least 6 hours. So, when we asked for the rates, they did not let me see any paper with the tariff rates and instead the receptionist asked us how many hours would we like to stay. So, I told her we will be staying for 6 hours and she gave me a quote for a suite room and she asked for our payment without issuing a receipt.

When we got to our "SO CALLED SUITE ROOM", the aircon was hot. (was told it is already at its max) and the remote control is not working (because the wires were already cut according to the room attendant) and no tissue in that bathroom. Since, we were staying for a short time and changing rooms was not an option since they were already full, we did not argue anymore even if it is not a so suite room that we paid for.

What really hit me was that they called us after 4 hours asking if we would like to extend. I told them its for a 6 hours stay no need to extend. They said we only paid for 4 hours. I said we booked for a 6 hours stay. They asked me how much i paid or what i even paid for -- i told them what transpired between the receptionist and me when we checked in which to be honest, I don't have evidence. they did not give me anything, no receipt or not even a tariff table that i could base the payment i made. They told me the receptionist already left so they could not ask her. It was really terrible.

As a customer, I was stupid not to clarify things but now, i know that i need to be very careful with dealing with this type of hotel. Definitely, we will never be coming back again.

We never got our money's worth. To be honest, the first hour was solely devoted to fixing the aircon, figuring out what's wrong with the remote and how to turn off the TV aside from directly unplugging it from a very inconvenient location.

A very terrible experience.
