The hostel itself is in a beautiful colonial building and the old features add a lot of character. The restaurant upstairs also serves very tasty food, so I can also recommend stopping by for dinner. The location is ideal if you are looking for a night out in Malate and, despite this, we didn't find it to be too noisy....

If you are on a budget and would like to stay close at the heart of Manila for a few days, Tambayan is the perfect place for you. It is relatively new and has lovely vibe/classy design which I really like. They’ve got a small resto bar that is consistent with their over-all hostel architecture. It is also just right...

Looks good from outside but the bedrooms are terrible. I had a bedroom for myself : 30€ per night for a 7m2 bedroom without window. I felt like I was in jail... The aircon is REALLY loud and even with it, I could here people on the street and my neighbor like he was in my room. Showers and restrooms...

We loved it here so much we decided to extend our stay. Great wifi, the public areas (especially bathrooms and showers) are cleaned like every half an hour! Their food and drinks are decently priced and very tasty. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in the private rooms downstairs so don't know what the dorms are like but...

The location is easily accessible to the LRT station and a minute away from Robinsons mall which provides airport transport. Wouldn't recommend it to those who hates CROWDED and NOISY area. The sidewalks are cramped and traffic isn't good. The hotel staff were NICE and are readily able to provide service whenever needed. The room is OKAY ( fine for...

Nice lobby , nice lounge and a beautiful bar on the second floor. Convenient drinking)). However, private rooms are very small, and less than basic. No I-net in the rooms (only in the lobby), very poor TV package, and issues with hot water in a common shower. Get ready to take a cold one. Seems to be a bit overpriced...

Location is really great, close to LRT station Pedro Gill, great connection by airport express bus from close Robinson Mall, the most important sightseeings of Intramurous are close. Actually, overcrowded location, a bit dirty, but as most of Manila in this area. Ground floor seems to be like the worst part of the hostel - Wifi is NOT working there,...

This place right on bacobo st is right in the main area but our room was ground floor next to reception, there was lots of noise plus the room was tiny for 4 people, no hot water, wifi was in reception but very weak. Didnt really like this budget accomodation, was glad to move on.

I stayed in this hostel for two nights. I booked a double room with private bathroom. What I received when I arrived was a room at the ground floor without any windows and with an old bathroom with the shower drain out of order. Compared to the bedroom of pictures it had nothing in common. The room was close to...

This hotel has some good things and some bad things: -Good ones: it's not too expensive, the location is good (close to a Metro station and not too far from Intramuros and Rizal Park) and the workers are kind. The bed was big and comfortable, and the room very clean. -Bad ones: the breakfast is VERY basic (coffee and a...
