If you're coming from a far place and you want to shop til you drop in Divisoria or 168 Mall, this is a great place to stay before and after shopping. If you have no business in the busy shopping area, it's not advisable to stay here as you will just complain with the noise around. Hotel is just a few steps away from Lucky China Town Mall and a few more steps and you're already in 168 Mall. It's conveniently located around Binondo's top places to go to, I think all in walking distance if you're in for some adventure along the streets. We booked several rooms here including the Suite, which is soooo spacious you can do cartwheels inside. Other than being roomy, the suite is not much different and not so worth it if you're just going to sleep and take a bath in the room.

The normal rooms have your basic needs for sleeping and bathing. They're clean, aircon is cool and working, TV is modern and flat screen with cable and remote. Bed and pillows are also good to get you by for the night. Don't expect 5star bedding and bathroom toiletries. Bathroom is fine. There's water heater. When we visited though, the heater on our floor was not working for a time but they were able to fix it in no time. Room rates come with free breakfast for 2 but you can do away with this if you're picky with food and conscious where you eat. Dining area is a bit like of a stock room with tables. Dining hall doesn't seem that hygienic.
This hotel is very convenient for those who are traveling and whose agenda is only to go to Divisoria and shop. There is no parking if you're planning to bring a car. You have to park in Lucky China Town Mall and pay for PHP1,500 for overnight parking. There are 4 slots in front of the hotel where you can park parallel to the very busy street.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience specially after shopping, you can go drop what you shopped, relax a bit and go back again after recharging energy. You can even go to night markets, if there are available, since you don't have to worry going home so far. We would definitely stay here again for our next shopping spree in Divisoria.

Dela Chambre is literally a stone's throw away from a nice mall and several shopping places, making its location ideal for those who enjoy buying anything - cheap and pricey to everything in between.
Location, and its promo offering because it is still less than a year old, are its strengths. When it comes to service and cleanliness, well, they leave much to be desired.
Check in was swift -- except that the room assigned to us had not been cleaned yet. Add to the fact that we could not find it because the way to our traveler's room was dark, unlighted.
We went down to the front desk to ask for assistance in locating our room -- and when we finally saw it -- it was filthy! We were made to transfer to another room on a different floor. We did.
The traveler's room was small understandably as it's the cheapest they offer. It had the basics -- bed, tv, toilet and bath enclosed in clear glass. The bath isn't for shy people as the other occupant -- if any -- gets an unobstructed view of whoever is using the toilet. But the comfort room is roomy, tiled, with bidet and has good running water and hot and cold shower.
There are free toiletries, plus comb, toothbrush, and shower cap for one person.
LCD TV had no cable. The bell boy said they have a problem with the cable company so the TV only had one channel. The technician was to fix it soon, he had assured us. When we asked for a different traveler's room -- one with a TV that offered more than one channel -- he said it was not possible as the room categoryt had no DIGIBOX and so he cannot do anything, even after informing the supervisor who checked us in.
On the way to the second room, we were handed breakfast stubs by the bellboy. It entitled us to one sandwich which they say was for two people, and brewed coffee. In the morning, as we were partaking of the sandwich and coffee at the coffee shop, we were approched by a lady from the front desk who asked us who had given us the breakfast stubs. Upon saying that it was the front desk person the previous night, she said OK but informed us that our room category was not entitled to free breakfast. Since the stubs had been given by that guy (and perhaps because we were already halfway through the single chicken sandwich), then we can continue eating. Wow -- their flyer had stated that their rooms have cable TV AND a stay comes with a free breakfast -- and now they tell us it is not so??
Although they let us eat in peace after, the front desk person was not taught the right skill on how to go about telling someone that he is not entitled to free grub. She made us feel that we owe them something. Very unprofessional. Disappointing.
Only hope they say the truth in their flyer and honestly state what is provided and what are not part of what you are paying for.

The hotel is located just beside Divisoria Mal and Lucky Chinatown Mall. Easy check-in but what I do not like in their lobby is it sometimes smell cigarette smoke. The room is good, I stayed in Deluxe Room overlooking the Lucky Chinatown Mall. Wifi is fast in Philippine standard and if you are using your mobile cellular data, signal are fluctuating. They also provide complimentary water. Buffet breakfast is chinese food with only 3 choices and if you do not want to take the breakfast, there is McDonald fronting the hotel and 7-11 beside the hotel. The road will be very busy during the night since most shoppers are going to the mall and for those bringing vehicle, the hotel has no parking. Parking on the road is not advisable. If you take yellow taxi from the airport, it will cost you around P300-400.

I booked direct with them and specifically asked if they had parking available. They said they are no longer partners with Lucky Chinatown Mall but i should just drive infront of their hotel and they will take care of my car. i did and when i vot there the security guard said no parking was available and that i should just park at Lucky Chinatown. I did just that and walked back to the hotel only to be told that they wouldnt pay for my parking . they have 3 parking slots for guests for the whole hotel. i was furious because i specifically asked abt parking. they could have told me three slots on a first come first serve. i left and went to the hotel across ... they had ample parking and very clean

Stayed at this hotel for two nights with a high school friend. The deluxe room we got was at the 6th floor. Nothing really special about the room. Just the basic things you would need when travelling. Bathroom fixtures, LCD TV, Shower Enclosure, lighting fixtures and wiring devices are all made in China. It is very near Lucky Chinatown Mall, 168, 999 and Divisoria and offices of some Filipino - Chinese businessmen. Had a particularly pleasant stay as we spent most of our time roaming and exploring Chinatown.

Good job to the cleaning crew of this hotel. We've been here twice and every time, the room was tidy and organized. In the room were: Complete toiletries - (2 sets of shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, tooth brush and toothpaste, and a roll of tissue), 2 Pairs of room slippers, tea and coffee facilities with free tea, complimentary bottles of water, hangers and hair dryer. AC, shower, TV are in great working condition. Staff including the guard were always helpful and ready to assist whenever needed. Good breakfast buffet. I always prefer a hotel with free breakfast and Dela Chambre did not disappoint in this aspect.

Rooms start at a super low 1000 php or about $24 usd. Be warned this a a tiny room not bigger then a good sized walk in closet. But it's clean has air conditioning and it's own shower and toilet. For 2500 php you get a very nice sized room. The location of the hotel can't be beat it's next to the very popular Lucky China mall and divisoria you won't find better shopping anywhere. Full of fantastic deals and knockoffs. The lobby is nice. The restaurant has no ambiance but the food is very good!! I would highly recommend this place if shopping is your thing.

First off, if you have no specific business to stay in this area then don't even consider this hotel and complain of safety, smells etc because you will find this issue within the most part of the Binondo area. Go stay in Makati instead. The hotel was perfect for my fiance and I since we particularly flew to Manila to shop for our upcoming wedding and Divisoria was of course the perfect place. The hotel is very centrally located among the popular shopping hubs, all within walking distance. There are lots of good places to eat within the area, it being located in Chinatown. Hotel room was nice and clean. Toilet and shower were working perfectly well. Bed was comfortable, a/c was nice and cool. TV was a new model that allowed us to plug in our hard drive and view our movies during the evening. Since we knew we would be shopping, we brought quite some cash on us and the room didn't have a safety deposit box but we were able to leave them at the front desk and the receptionist was nice enough to secure our cash for us. Breakfast was buffet style and surprisingly tasted better than it looked. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and will surely stay there again should we need to shop in Divisoria again! Commuting around Manila is such a chore and staying here definitely saved us so much time and stress.

Right beside the shopping mall 168, 999 and Lucky Plaza. Original Divisoria shopping area is a 10-minute walk. Chinatown is a 20-minute walk. Room is value for money - don't expect luxurious accommodations or facilities but it's clean. If your itinerary is just shopping, this is the hotel. Parking is provided for at the Lucky Plaza mall. Staff are friendly - no fuss, fast service. No restaurant but the coffee stall of the hotel has an espresso machine that makes good coffee. Lobby is clean but, being beside the clogged waterway, has a slight smell of stagnant water. But the rooms have no such smell. If you want a non-smoking room, check the room first because the hotel staff cannot control the other Asian visitors who smoke everywhere in the hotel. There are a lot of eating options at the Lucky Plaza mall. I'm a local and would definitely return.
