New Coast Hotel Manila is celebrated for its professional service and warm hospitality, with the staff garnering accolades for their attentiveness. Although the pool is undergoing renovation, the array of amenities, including the gym and dining facilities, still impresses many guests. The rooms are typically found to be spacious and comfortable, though some have noted issues with air quality and dated amenities.
Guests rave about the hotel's cleanliness and location, which offers convenient access to nearby attractions and stunning views of Manila Bay. However, some guests feel that the hotel's pricing does not equate to the overall value, pointing out the costly internet and dining options.

To start of J's birthday celebration, the first get together was for my side of the family. New Coast Hotel is centrally located for family members.
PROS:
1. Staff from the valet, bellhop, concierge and check-in counter were warm and engaging. Special mention is Gwen who upgraded our room to Deluxe as birthday token and assisted with a parking issue. Cedric (not sure) of the Concierge was very helpful thanks. Housekeeping crew were supportive with our requests. Thank you to all!
2. Pool was massive with a big heated jacuzzi on one side which was running the whole time unlike other hotels' which is turned off when no user or had a timer. Kiddie pool on the other side too.🏊♂️
3. His and hers sauna, steam and changing room jacuzzi was very relaxing! Gym had modern equipment and gym instructors!🏋️♂️
4. One corner away from Robinsons Place Manila in Ermita so highly accessible to stores, restaurants, banks and cinema.
5. Our pool view Deluxe one bedroom suite had sofa seating area with TV, separate dining area outside the bedroom which has its own TV. Toilet had double vanity and bathtub.🛀
COULD BE IMPROVED:
1. Our check-in was the day before the citywide lockdown. Next day buffet breakfast was underwhelming. Maybe the hotel adjusted there menu to reflect occupancy?
The hot courses were mostly filipino breakfast food. The hotel caters to Chinese, Koreans, Japanese so selections for these nationalities available too.
2. Deluxe room was big no doubt but some furnishings and carpet need updating already.
3. Elevator security needs improvement since room key cards not required so anyone can stop at any floor.
In conclusion, despite the recent rebranding, New Coast is clear! We really enjoyed our birthday stay. Recommended!

I stayed as a long-term guest at this hotel from June 2019 through December 2019 and I was VERY pleased with the service received, particularly from the entire staff at the Residence Club, including Cyrus, Jacob, Rei, Renz, Aaron, Kyle, Hannah, Ciara. Sales/Guest relations Alyssa was also very attentive to any/all needs. Housekeepers on the 11th floor (usually Rona and her fellow female colleague) provided consistently excellent service. All breakfast staff at the Market Cafe took such great care of me and their meals were always excellent. All hostess staff were very friendly and helpful. I was assisted from time to time by virtually all members at the concierge desk and always received excellent and prompt service. I also utilized their contract hotel car service nearly daily and was always treated well and their drivers, despite a mess of traffic, were always on time and driving was very good....Too many others to mention but suffice it to say I was very well treated for the duration of my several month stay...I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!

My first time in the Philippines and what amazing experience it was. I choose to stay at the new coast hotel as its rated No.1 hotel in Manila on trip advisor and I can see why its number 1.
The room when entering is very specious and you have desk with chair as well if you want to sit or even do work. The shower/bath is huge so you can really relax but the best thing is the bed, very comfortable and with housekeeping coming daily with fresh towels and changing the bed makes it feel like your back home (Anyone who loves fresh bedding will know what I mean)
The pool situated on the 8th floor is really good size, plenty of sunbeds, towels and the pool bar is excellent but if you want some sun then you need to go in the morning as after 2pm its away normally. The drinks are all made fresh at the bar and the food is also very good as its from the same kitchen when ordering room service. The staff at the hotel bar and lifeguards are very friendly and helpful.
The staff at the hotel were fantastic, really friendly, inviting and more than happy to help. I would like to say Richard from the pool bar and Lester security manager are just two of the amazing staff at the hotel who I met. Both deserve so much credit with their professionalism as well as helping me when I was traveling about when I needed any help or advice. Many more members of your staff like Norman, Ken, Joanness, Joes, Gerald, Silas etc... I could be here all day naming the staff but all friendly & helpful. The staff at the hotel deserve a lot of respect for how professional and polite they are.
Chameleon bar on the ground floor in the hotel I went a couple of times to experience live music and how it was. Its a nice and relaxing atmosphere if you enjoy if you enjoy signers (both solo and groups). The staff also in Chameleon were very good plus the cakes are excellent, I would recommend trying at least one of them, my favourite was the cheesecake. The staff were also really friendly and polite. Karina is one of the stand out staff who was always friendly and helpful plus recommended the cheesecake to myself which was delicious.
Overall I can say my experience at the hotel was fantastic and would highly recommend it to anyone. I am so happy I picked this hotel as I can honestly say I don't think I would have such amazing experience if I didn't stay at this hotel.

Wow!!! Where do I even begin? I had the pleasure of staying at the New World Manila Bay hotel for the international convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Manila. The room is beyond beautiful, spacious and SUPER clean. The lighting was impeccable. Some of my most beautiful Snapchat selfies were taken in the bathroom 😂 I honestly was content to remain in my room and unfortunately that level of contentment limited the interactions I had with the hotel staff other than coming and leaving for tours and events. Some notable pluses was 1. I had a keurig coffee maker. I was told not all rooms have one. But why not? I would’ve easily traded the TV that I never once turned on for the Keurig coffee maker. 2. The WiFi connection was excellent. I was working from home and completing grad school at the time of my travel so a solid connection was crucial for me. 3. The BREAKFAST was like walking into a New World that I never wanted to leave. Fresh watermelon juice, pineapple juice, Omelettes, soups, rice, meat you name it. 😍😍😍. 4. You can’t top excellent service especially when it’s done with a smile. Huge special thanks to the most gracious room attendants (who’s names I wrote on a piece of paper and misplaced😐) who understood my frequent need for more coffee and sugar and water 😅

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights the room was quite clean and comfortable.
However, the staff at the front desk lack training in both basic customer service and dispute resolution. We had an issue where the hotel staff refused to allow us to charge things to our room because there was a "note on the system".When we inquired about the contents of the note all staff members including those working at the front desk refused to disclose the information. The above issue occurred despite the hotel requesting a holding amount at check-in which was greater than the room charge total.
Also for some odd reason the hotel lacks seating areas. There were no seats in the lobby and only 3 chairs in the bakery giving guests the impression that they are not welcome to congregate in these areas.

Upon arriving in the hotel, the front desk personnel specially Ms. MJ Decena-front office supervisor prepared right away the things needed for check-in and very friendly and respectful, hotel is very clean. Food is very delicious. John of the Market Cafe is very attentive & cheerful. And also to Gail, Micah of the pastry, Alice of the egg station and most especially to Chef Sonny who made a very delicious bread and dessert. For the housekeepers Kim Bartolo, MJ Ignacio, Rona Palma, Jonie Zarraga, Shiela Dineros make our room very, very clean. Mr.Bryan Liong – the Asst. Housekeeping Manager who for the last few hours remaining in our stay in this hotel keep asking what else we need before we check out on that day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

I have stayed at the New Coast Hotel many times through its many iterations from Hyatt to New World and now New Coast. I was here during the pandemic, the hotel allowed me to stay on and the staff was very helpful with the compliance with all the new rules and shutdowns of the restaurants, the pool, they gym. But now they are all back open and looking good. I was very happy to see that Ms. Joanie and Mr. Conrad on the housekeeping staff was still on the job. While other hotels have cut their housekeeping from daily to only-on-demand, Ms. Joanie and Mr Conrad have faithfully daily come to thoroughly clean the room and replenish all the supplies, from water to towels. The housekeeping at New Coast is exceptionally good and the staff should be commended for their maintaining such high standards of cleanliness and consistent service.

Having visited manila many times and stayed in numerous hotels in malate/ermita area I feel I have finally found my prefered choice of hotel at excellent rates.
The whole ambience of the hotel was great, classy lobby area, fine spaceious rooms and a great pool area and a deservered few words for all the wonderfull friendly and helpfull staff at the new coast hotel. I asked for a room on high floor upon booking and my request was granted to prove requests are taken into consideration.
Easy walking distance to rizal park for an evening stroll, 7/11 two mins walk away, Robinson's mall and the baywalk for evening sunset and only a 10 mins taxi ride to intramuros manilas top attraction and deservedly so and can't believe I had visited manila so many times and never visited this attraction until this holiday.
The new coast hotel is around 20 mins from airport taxi fare was agreed at 400 peso from outside the airport.
Excellent fast WiFi throughout the hotel including round the pool. Cannot comment on food and beverages has i was room only, rooms are large with a super comfy bed, large bathroom with supplied toilitries, bath tub and seperate shower, fridge was empty which is more then acceptable with 7/11s nearby.
No issues with getting a Sun lounger for Sun or shade, superb large pool the guy on pool duty was welcoming ready and waiting with your pool towels each and everyday. The area around the hotel is a bit suspect at night but it was never an issue.
A final comment on this fine hotel is that it does things the right way the way all hotels should be run and credit must go to the management and its staff for that and i Iook forward to returning to the new coast hotel on my next visit to manila.

This hotel is vey near Manila bay where you can catch the magnificent Manila Sunset, or get the west side rooms.
The food served is vey good, generous portion, except that sometimes the servers can’t explain what’s in it haha!!!
The rooms are spacious, and not constrict at all.
The beddings are clean and you don’t need to call for a room service, unless you don’t want your room to be cleaned.
Tip: don’t checkout on late Friday because it will take so much time for your service to arrive due to the one way streets around the area.
Sometimes you can’t find a staff in the function room, maybe due to the limitation of employees.
Will return again to this hotel.
