Sheraton Manila Bay garners praise for its comfortable and stylish atmosphere, with guests appreciating its clean and cozy ambiance. While the hotel's rooms are lauded for their spaciousness, opinions on their decor vary, with some finding it a bit outdated. The service at the hotel stands out, with staff earning accolades for their attentive and professional conduct. Opinions on value are mixed; some guests relish the perks like free-flowing wine nights, while others are taken aback by high rates and extra charges. Cleanliness is consistently celebrated, and the amenities, including the breakfast buffet and executive lounge, receive high marks. The hotel's central location is noted, though the nearby environment receives mixed reviews.

I used to stay at this hotel when it was the Pan Pacific and always enjoyed it. For the most part it feels the same since it became the Sheraton. The big exception is the quality of service has improved greatly. Starting with the person who greeted me at the airport through the driver who retuned next there the service was PERFECT throughout. Security has also improved dramatically since the shift to Sheraton.

I was upgraded to a suite, which was incredibly spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and amenities were wonderful and I always love the walk in shower at this hotel. My only disappointment was my view was basically of buildings across the street and I could see little else.

The breakfast was amazing and the views are second to none. This is where this location will always compare favorably to other great hotels in Manila - no one else has this kind of view starting your morning. Service at breakfast was amazing. Again at most of the 5 star hotels in Manila you feel abandoned at the breakfast buffet. Here they take great care of you.

In complete transparency, there are a couple of things travelers need to be aware of when selecting this hotel. First, I found it to be more expensive than many of the other 5 star hotels in Manila, while lacking the elegant lobby those hotels have. While this is the cheapest Marriott branded hotel in Manila, if you like the elegant entrances and soaring lobbies you may feel you get more for your money elsewhere. Secondly, while the breakfast food was great, I was not impressed with the quality of the other meals I had on site. It felt like the food quality dropped while the prices increased.

Overall though the Sheraton Manila Bay is a very good option in Manila.

This was our 1st time staying in a hotel not close to the airport prior to our flight departure. We were pleasantly surprised how wonderful this hotel’s location is.
The hotel is well maintained, we got upgraded to an executive room which was huge and the bathroom equipped with bathtub, separate shower, ample space and toiletries.
The best part was the bed. Unlike other hotels, their bed came with 4 pillows, I did not have to ask for additional pillows. We had a relaxing stay due to the comfort of their bed.
This hotel js very close to Robinsons Place which is a huge shopping center with lots of shops & restaurants.
We ate breakfast at the Pacific Lounge and had late night drinks there as well. The view from the 21st floor was awesome. Did I mention that their elevators afford you with views of the Manila skyline and bay?
I will surely stay here again and choose this Sheraton over the one near the Airport.

Located close to the shoreline, this luxury hotel has everything you could need. It is next door to a casino and several restaurants. Reception was impressively grand with a small cafe area. The reception and concierge staff were all very welcoming and helpful. There is an upper level pool and bar, gym and spa. My room on the 19th floor offered a view of the bay. The room had a huge double bed, television, digital safe, iron and large walk in shower with separate bath tub. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything looked clean and well maintained. The hotels main restaurant and bar is on an upper floor offering great city views. Dinner is a choice of buffet or a la carte; both offering local dishes as well as international cuisine.

This is a wonderful hotel and was a much welcomed relaxing stay after a long flight.

I stayed here with my fellow crew members and wish to never stay here again. Although the room was nice, the treatment made the experience feel like I was in prison. Me and my fellow crew members were not allowed to leave the hotel room or even receive food deliveries from outside. This rules was made by the hotel who also had other guests roaming around the hotel at their own free will. This treatment was not fair. Deliveries from outside were also not allowed for us which I found was odd because it was like I was being forced to eat from the room service menu and this menu was very limited. Front desk staff are not very welcoming as well. Paying guests should not be treated the way we were treated. I'm traumatized by this hotel and wish no one ever has to go through this.

Dear valued guest, Mabuhay and Greetings from Sheraton Manila Bay! Thank you for electing to stay with us and that you for taking the time to provide your valuable feedback. We obviously deplore that were not able to create a most memorable experience for you and your fellow crew members on this occasion. We certainly understand that a quarantine stay is not a preferred format of stay given the protocol and rules that the hotel has to observe at all time. Nonetheless our associates are attentive and in close communication with our quarantine residents to ensure the most extensive caring despite the restrictions. Please know that the hotel DOES NOT set any rules as we have the obligation, as a certified “Quarantine Hotel”, to comply with all protocols mandated by the government. During a Quarantine stay, Guest are not allowed to leave their room as this would simply defeat the purpose of the quarantine. Likewise external deliveries are not authorized for safety and consistency reasons. Also kindly note that all Guests are treated with the same level of caring and application. Quarantine Guests are strictly not allowed to roam around the property at leisure. To this instances we closely monitor floor movements and also have the obligation to report immediately to the authorities and contracting companies any violators. Again we certainly understand that a quarantine stay is definitely not the ideal hotel experience especially with the strict guidelines imposed. However, under the current pandemic circumstances, it serves the safety of all. Hopefully the restrictive measures will bear fruits and we soon shall return to a most enjoyable normality when delivering our Hospitality experience. In the meantime, if I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact me directly. Best Regards, Stephanie Cabrejas Marketing Manager

As long time Marriott Bonvoy members my wife and I purposely chose to stay at the Sheraton Manila Bay hotel. We did so for two reasons, convenience to downtown Manila (which is actually comprised of 15 plus cities throughout the region) and is truly massive! In addition, we wanted to use our Marriott Bonvoy points, as we will frequently do so if our stay is for 5 nights. Bonvoy rewards you with one free night when using “points” if you stay for 5 nights.

Honestly, we were not sure what to expect, given that the hotel recently changed to Sheraton and given that the location is in the heart of the city - meaning it is not in the shiny new areas. Rather, it is close to “the real” Manila - which is great for tourists who want to see the the old city…be it historic sites, museums, parks, Chinatown, and all of the rest. My wife grew up in Manila and she recommended this location.

As for the hotel. It was absolutely one of the nicest properties that we have stayed at. We have stayed at several JW Marriott’s, Marriott Marquis’s, AC Hotels, and many other Marriott brands throughout the US. We also own a timeshare through Marriott. We are well versed in their brands.

I do not know if it was the fact that we were oversees or the fact that Sheraton is better than I thought….or a little of both, but this is one of the nicest hotels that we have ever stayed at. And while the location is great, and even includes two casinos (not directly connected) it was not too large.

As a result, the staff was insanely helpful! I will start with the breakfast buffet, which was both enormous and beautiful. It was comprised of a wonderful mix of Filipino and US foods. Marriott Platinum members also have access to a “sky” lounge for food, drinks, and views in the evening. Again, as one who has participated in many of these activities, this was by far the best experience that we have ever had with this type of facility. We actually ate a dinner of appetizers one night, as my wife was quick to point out all of the native foods!

In addition, there was a study area / play area for teens and older adults. It was comprised of a truly unique “full size” basketball hoop adjacent to the lobby coffee shop/ desert bar. Upstairs, next to the outdoor pool a brand new gym had just opened as well.

Finally, given the extent of our travels, we received help with both our laundry and the storage of our luggage. In both cases, we had unique requests and they were properly handled.

I can truly say that everyone, from the front desk staff to the bellmen, from the valets to the concierge, and finally the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to assist us! If you are looking for a fabulous hotel with superb staff that is located in the heart of the true Manila, then this is a great choice!

So we just here for a weekend getaway, we pick Sheraton as I got lounge access thanks for the membership.

The hotel is not far from hotel, you can easily just get Grab taxi, which take around 30 mins. 7-11 is just across the street, Robinson mall is just next door, the mall got everything you need, a big supermarket, clothing and lots of restaurant. We went to seaside to take a walk but everything is under renovation, so it's not what you expect, kind of smelly too.

And for the room, it's spacious and just like all the old Sheraton with traditional design. The breakfast and evening cocktails is at the same place, breakfast period is very very busy, you may not able to get the seat right away or you have to sit very far which you will get ignored totally. But for evening cocktails is very peaceful and quiet, there's lot of choices of cocktails, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

In short if you dont have to go around in Manila, you can just stay here for few days and relax, the pool downstairs is small but cozy. But if you have to go out at night, you may want to stay in Makati, Grab taxi is cheap tho.

If we come back again for a weekend, we will stay here again.

I was on a seven day work trip that required reliable internet. After issues at another hotel, I unexpectedly ended up at the Sheraton Manila Bay. This hotel is superb for both work and touring. Service, cleanliness, amenities, all greatly exceeded my expectations.

Start with service. All staff courteous, as expected, but the supervisory staff excelled. In the Pacific Lounge, a special nod to Jayson who made us feel at home from the very first moment we entered, to MJ’s friendly greetings and warm service, and to the morning supervisor Annie, who never failed to stop by the table for a chat and ensure we had everything we needed.

I have performed virtual work from hotels around the world. As a short-term virtual workplace, this hotel was the best I have encountered. The room had a large desk area, plenty of universal power outlets, a very good desk chair, and multiple workspace lighting options. Wifi was consistently excellent and quick to connect throughout the hotel. There were numerous areas around the hotel where one could take calls and perform some work, both inside and out, with public spaces available 24 hours for those working across multiple time zones. Aside from the expected business services, there is a small conference room available off the lobby as well as several fully enclosed cubicles where one can have a private call or video chat. There is also available a no-charge self-service computer/printers/scanner that actually worked and had sufficient paper and toner. These details may sound unimportant to some readers, but business travelers know that attending to these little things prevents frustration and wasted time.

Location is always an important factor when choosing an hotel. This is not an “upscale” part of Manila. This is a great hotel in an area some would call “seedy”. I felt the area was perfectly safe day and night, but I know some people may not feel comfortable at first if they are not used to staying in this type of ‘real world’ environment. The hotel is a block over from Mabini Street, an area that has historically been known for its bars and night life. My last stay in this area was over thirty years ago and I was surprised to see little has changed. Robinson’s Mall, now a very large, clean and modern mall, is a two block walk from the hotel. However, most sidewalks need repair, are blocked or are nonexistent. Still, the walk to Robinson's is easy, you just have to dodge the traffic while you walk – a very normal experience in the Philippines and many other countries!

The rather central location of the hotel within Manila is good for tourists and others who will be visiting different parts of the city. Walkable to the U.S. Embassy and Rizal Park, with Intramuros a little further. A short taxi to Mall of Asia. Also short walk to the bay, but the Bay Walk is closed for construction unless you just want a selfie at that strange ‘Dolomite Beach’.

Nestled in the heart of Manila is this property surrounded by the hustle and bustle of one of the densest part of this giant city by the bay. Seemingly out of place from its underserved surroundings, once you step into this Sheraton, it’s like stepping into any other Sheraton in the US (besides the tight security at its entrance). Once you get past the construction of its new breakfast area, the lobby is very clean and well lite. The front desk was friendly and very professional. They immediately noticed my Platinum Elite status and upgrade my room to an Executive Suite on the 17th floor with a nice view of the city. They also extended a late check out which ended up not using because of my flight the next day. Taking the elevator gives you a bird’s eye view of the city as it takes you to your floor or at the restaurant located in the top/21st floor. You also get to see the nice outdoor pool on the way up (which I was not able use due to a busy schedule).

The room was very clean and felt newly renovated. The beds very comfortable, pillows plush, and the sheets crisp. There was a nice business desk made the specifically for the business traveler with all the necessary accessible plug ins for all your devices. Because of my status there was a gift basket of fresh fruits (orange and mangos) that were delicious. The room is complete with HDTV, coffee maker, safe, and small fridge. You also get complementary bottled waters each day. The bathroom has its own small HDTV, bathtub and separate shower with great water pressure! Large shampoo, body wash and conditioner is also available so no need to bring your own.

The restaurant at the top floor served cocktails and fingers food starting at 6pm where you can wind down after a long day. It is also where the breakfast buffet is located which starts 7am in the morning. The buffet consist of a juice bar, fruit station, omelet station, ramen noodle bar, butcher block, several warm breakfast choices, and a selection of Philippine entrees. Coffee is available upon order and service was very friendly. Note that there is also a nice coffee shop at the lobby that served good coffee.

There is an ATM outside the hotel, but still within the hotel premises so no need to venture off to get cash which made me feel safer. There is also a casino entrance behind the main entrance which can be access using escalators from the main lobby.

Overall, a pleasant surprise for what you pay for, including good rooms and services in the heart of Manila. Definitely a property worth considering in the future if you want to stay within the city and close to the airport.

When you stay at Sheraton Manila Bay, keep in mind that it was rebranded recently, the rooms are still “Pan Pacific Hotel” without any changes since 2013. After only an hour of checking in I was surprised that two of the housekeeping staff came into my room to check the mini bar, I asked them immediately to remove all the items, simply I don’t want them to enter my room every day for this matter because it seems this is the policy here, honestly, the first question popped into my mind: Is this hotel really a Sheraton? Some hotels have sensors, and most of them check the mini bar items at the checkout.
We didn’t like their breakfast, the using of pork and bacon was unbelievable, almost everything is mixed with ham and bacon, the hashbrowns was placed in the same tray with bacon. At least put the potatoes and the vegeterian options away from the meat?
The only edible thing for us was eggs, we asked once for poached eggs or benedict and we were told this will be (A La Carte) it’s for additional charge, I can name tens of Sheratons & Marriotts (and some Alofts and Courtyards) I’ve been to in Asia, they make it complementary and nothing really worth to brag about poached eggs or benedict.
The evening servings in the pacific lounge for Platinum/ Titanium Marriott members were average. The location was just great 3 minutes walk to Robinsons Mall, that was probably the only thing we found convenient. I guess the new Westin that is opening in April/2023 will be a better option for us in Manila.

Our stay was wonderful! I had a pleasant reservation experience through the phone when I talked to Sheraton's representative. We were greeted by a mini chocolate cake and some balloons and a birthday sign for my son when we entered our room. I love how they pay attention to the tiniest details where other hotel brands don't.
