Had a very nice time during our long weekend staycation this past week. Thanks to Inah, Emily and Christine for assisting us with our room reservation requests. They were very accommodating and ensured that we had what we needed. The pool wasn't as crowded as it was a couple of months ago, which was a very welcome change. Spiral (dinner and breakfast) was a delicious indulgence, as was Le Bar (special shoutout to Jhay for the quick, friendly and thorough service even though they were about to close). Only cons were the intermittent chirping of the fire door alarm on our second morning (not the actual fire alarm on our third morning which was legit) and the thumping music that seeped through the glass doors late at night from Seascape Village (?) next door. Overall we still enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to our next one.…
Recently stayed at the Sofitel Manila and enjoyed it immensely. Upgraded to a suite due to accor status and it was huge and spacious. Breakfast was buffet with plenty of variety and be early on weekends. Eating venues are very busy Fri, Sat,Sun, so book a table if eating. Accor Club lounge runs from 2 til 7pm and your well looked after by Friliene and Anthony. Snaps Sports Bar is another must visit. Really nice food, well priced drinks and great service by Paul, JP and the others. Pool and surrounds are beautiful. Top of the list is the 6 star Filipino customer service. The best ever. A wonderful place to stay and Accor discounts apply for dining and drinks.
Staff very friendly and very professional. Room nice but becoming a bit dated (my mirror was broken). Bed was super comfortable. Internet was strong. No furniture on balcony. I didn’t catch the buffet breakfast, but lunch choices were fairly limited. Overall food choices could be better. Spa was nice but despite offering a number of different facials and massages, when I booked for a facial and a massage I wasn’t asked which one I wanted or given any options. The facial was not worth the money.
I had a great stay as usual with sofitel. It was a weekday but it seems like Christmas eve at that time then I realized it was the eve of the inauguration of our new president. Anyway considering its still pandemic but this hotel's atmosphere is like there's no more Covid. The differences lies that we had mask and a little social distancing. Anyway it took me an hour to check in but I'm not complaining because of the hoards of people trying to check-in. I just waited for my time and I was rewarded with a suite. A family suite at that it's just a bummer that the club lounge is still closed. Maybe the hotel should consider to open it at this time. Another great moment was I was able to book a great table at spiral. I was thinking maybe because I had booked a room or I'm an accor plus member or I just begged because it was may birthday month. As usual the buffet was amazing. I just don't have the stomach to try everything as there is an endless line of food to choose from. Overall even with the hiccups during check-in, the staff did everything to please and accommodate everyone. I would still consider this stay as a memorable one. Pro tip. Be an accor plus member and dine at 50 percent off…
Our stay became so special and even more memorable for making us your guest of the day. We really appreciate and enjoyed its perks. We felt so pampered and comfortable from a room upgrade to a little personal touch of surprise for our anniversary. Thanks so much to Anthony and Janet and the rest of the team for a great service!
Had a wonderful stay last time to celebrate our wedding anniversary, special thanks to Ms. Hammy Rocamora for accomodating our every inquiry and helped us thoughout our stay from check in to check out. Will definitely come back here.
My fiancée and I have always enjoyed our time at Sofitel and Spiral Restaurant. On this particular night, we received really great service from Joevette and Fernan! They made sure our dining experience was exceptional and really went above & beyond for us and our family. They both deserve high praise and hope they serve us again the next time we visit.
Spiral Buffet is THE STANDARD of excellent and luxurious buffet dining and we were regulars up until the pandemic hit. Now that most businesses are open, we went to visit again but due to some miscommunication, our lunch reservation was erroneously pegged for dinner. Our college bestfriends' reunion would have been ruined but Abby Abesamis of the Spiral Buffet Concierge moved heaven and earth, or tables and reservations, to help us get tables during a very busy Saturday noon! Abby made several phone calls, gave us options and she managed to give us the best table - the one under the spiral staircase and in front of the dessert buffet! Abby really showed the warmest hospitality in the industry! Daniel Mendoza of the wine cart and Dani Ann Alcantara also helped manage our table and were very cheerful. However, the fromagerie was quite disappointing. We learned that we could no longer choose cheese in the fridge (not displayed) unlike before when the 'cheese experts/attendants' were more than happy to give in to our requests but the person who attended to us during our July 2 lunch did not seem happy to have us around. But Abby's best assistance overshadowed that and our return to Spiral spells the beginning of more frequent visits!…
We were travelling around for 3 weeks and decided to stay here for 3 nights. The rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was great fun. To note the pool is 8ft deep in an area which is great for adults! Breakfast options were amazing, an offer of breakfast from multiple cultures around the world is placed at many breakfast stations. The only thing I could fault is the staff. A few issues came up which is not the end of the world but the staff were not apologetic. The service was EXTREMELY slow in every single part of the hotel. I would class this as a 4 star Hotel, we travelled with our family and we wouldn't classify this as 5 star service. Overall a lovely building with great grounds, comfortable clean rooms but service let them down big time.
It was a very pleasant experience dining at Sofitel. All the staffs were very accomodating especially Pia Bondoc and Earl Berth who made our experience extra wonderful. Food is definitely delicious and on point. Ambiance is, of course, elegant. Would definitely recommend THE BEST Buffet in Manila.
