We were about to stay when I noticed in the booking confirmation that the hotel did not have late check in facilities. We were running late and with the expected traffic I was worried we'd get to the hotel and not be able to check in. Tried reaching the contact number stated in the booking confirmation but no answer. Same with the land-line indicated in their website. The other number in the website couldn't be reached. Sent email and messenger but no reply. After around 30 minutes my wife finally got through and we were able to confirm that 10pm check in would still be acceptable. Was informed in that same call the hotel had no parking on their premises and we had to park somewhere nearby. We arrived just before 10pm, parked at a pay facility a few meters away and checked in. Had to give cash for a security deposit whereas other hotels would normally be able to take a credit card as guarantee for incidentals. After check-in, waited close to 10 minutes for the lone elevator servicing the premises to arrive. This issue with the elevator persisted throughout our stay as the other elevators were either not working or just not being operated. There was hardly any hot water in the shower and had a hard time figuring out the bidet. Check out took time as they had to check rooms as people checked out and return the cash guarantee to the guests. Overall a difficult stay. Will find it difficult to stay here again particularly since we had a specific reason for staying here that will likely not happen again in the next couple of years.

Around the University of Sto. Tomas (UST) there are a number of hotels and apartments for rent to stay, especially if you’re a student. But I chose to stay in Skyloft since it’s really across the University. Stay there for 2 nights to attend a conference there. However, my stay there did not meet my expectations, at least at the time I stayed. No credit/debit card machine to accept my credit cards. The TV has only one channel to watch. The hotel restaurant was closed for renovation. And the WiFi isn’t working. In other words I almost did not enjoy my stay if it weren’t for the warm and cordial hospitality that was shown to me by the staff, especially those assigned in the concierge. I think i’ll return if there’s another event in UST so I can give Skyloft another chance.

We chose to stay at this place due to convenience across from the university. OMG the worst experience of our lives.
The hotel was disgusting full of cockroaches smelt so damp.
Our fist night was unexplainable looking for room spray to kill the cockroaches, I couldn’t bear to step on the floor as the carpet looked like it belonged in the garbage. The bathroom tiles were all coming off
My husband complained bitterly and was moved to another room for our second night which I can only imagine was right underneath the dance floor or some concrete workshop. But alas the permanent resident cockroaches were out again on full force.
The staff were as good as the cockroaches hiding when you ask them something. The receptionist was far more worried about her TikTok/Instagram videos that actually being of any help.
The only pleasant person was the security guard but they maybe he was stationed outside of the hotel and wasn’t attacked by the cockroaches.

When I booked the hotel and paid for it days before my guest arrived, I mentioned to note a sensitive guest as those are foreigners. But then seems that not everyone understood. On wednesday, house keeping knocked on their room at 1 in the morning!!! Unbelievable. They even open the door using their master key! Whats wrong with your staff?! Seriously. It's a shame for all of us!

Nagustusan namin ang Skyloft hotel. Dahil bukod sa malinis at very relaxing ang room nila, napaka affordable pa lalo pa pag nakapromo cla. Nkakaenjoy mag stay dun lalo na sa swimming pool at sa Fitness gym nila. Very accessible yung place nila sa mga fastfood and convenience store. Highly recommended itong hotel 😍
